In a warm tropical night like it's common in Tikuna, the capital of the Silva Province of Euskirribakondara, the heart of the Mikunan Rainforest; Sabina Bojanovic & The Natives conquered the hearts of many viewers. November 18 will be remembered as the last night that Folkand won something at an international level. Today, Folkand is no longer an independent nation, but a district governed by a Parliament with members from the five Former Folkandish Republics (Christarnea, Lapratory, Machataica, Rusmailica, Saintrabina). The Flegavian Polish-speaking lands are awaiting you.
The WHFBU-AB (World Hit Festival Broadcasting Union Administrative Board) has allowed the participation of the five nations under strict voting regulations (just for this edition), so that they host the show as a hommage to their joint Folkandish history. Mathevas Urban, head of the Folkandish delegation, declared:
I remember that the first reaction after announcing the winner of the previous edition was disbelief. The opinions of critics were too skeptic, so we didn't expected that we would win the contest. However, Sabina Bojanovic is a really good singer and we believed in her skills. The Natives is a new folk band in our country, so we had hardly any expectations with their performance in Tikuna. Certainly all Folkand is elated because of grand prix and we'll try to do our best during the 11th World Hit Festival.
The bar has been raised by Euskirribakondara in regard to the organization. The Folkandish Broadcasting Union that includes: Saintrabinian, Christarnean, Rusmailican, Machataican and Lapratorian broadcasters has decided that this concert will be held in Ceso, the capital city of the Folkandish district. Our conversation with the WHF authorities has determined that all the Folkandish republics will be the organisers and all of them will be able to send their entry.
The venue of the 11th World Hit Festival will be 'Achilles Arena' in the centre of Ceso. The delegations from participating countries will stay in designated hotels in different cities of Halbia (the list will be published after the period of applications). Firstly FBU wanted to organise 11th WHF in Nerobrachlesh, but the argument between the five broadcasters led to the actual choice. The infrastructure and urbanization of Halbia, as well as the beauty of local landscapes should appeal to our guests.
The motto of the edition will be "Follow the footprints of the past". This sentence indicates a commitment to the history of the contest that we can't forget about. Our designers prepared a wonderful graphic frame and I hope you'll enjoy it....

(Deadlines for this contest are based on World Time, which means, since the time the day starts in Kiribati and Samoa (UTC+14), and until it ends in American Samoa (UTC-11).)
OOC Rules
1. Artists and songs must be imaginary (You may use the rhythm of an existant song, or parody the lyrics of one existant).
2. The songs can be on any language.
3. If you want to withdraw your application, you must do it BEFORE the deadline.
4. The voting system is: 1pt, 2pt, 3pts, 4pts, 5pts (Maximum score is 5pts). The entry with the most points wins.
5. If there are less than 15 countries by the end of the deadline, this one will be extended.
6. There will be semifinals if more than 30 active countries participate.
7. The hosting rights go to the winner. If he/she declines, the rights go to the runner-up, and so on.
8. Ties will be broken with: the number of countries that voted for that entry; number of 5-pts received; number of 4-pts received, and so on. If there's still a tie, both countries will be declared winners, and the hosting rights will be decided by a draw.
9. A maximum of two puppets are allowed (adding up both votes, they must not surpass 8 pts given).
10. To signup, you must do what says in the next paragraph!
How to apply?
In one post, you must give the information of your entry and broadcaster. Just like Eurovision, WHF has a broadcasting union: WHFBA (World Hit Festival Broadcasting Association). The member channels of the WHFBA can participate in WHF, and as soon as you apply, you're 100% likely to be accepted. The WHFBA is for IC purposes, and it has an official website that you may want to bookmark (with the button at the bottom of the page, you CANNOT post there).
