The nations of Ai-Sha and Urban Bantus cordially invite you to join the United Movement of Justice for Africans (working title), or UMOJA, an Alliance dedicated to the prosperity, security, and unity of any and all Black nations; this includes both African nations on the continent of Africa, as well as any nations of the African Diaspora.
U.M.O.J.A. has 3 basic, non-negotiable, requirements for membership.

1) Have a population that is majority black African-descended, and have a head-of state who is black African-descended.
2) Back up other alliance members if they're attacked with any military force you can give them.
3) Stay out of the domestic business of other alliance members' nations unless they ask you for help.

I would like to thank Darius 7x for creating this alliance dedicated to defense of African people and African interests both in the continent and beyond. As he mentioned above, I did help brainstorm ideas for its initial founding and contributed to writing the three above rules. If I may, I'd like to explain them a little further now.

1) Have a population that is majority black African-descended, and have a head-of state who is black African-descended.

History has shown time and again that non-blacks can't govern blacks with the best interests of the black population at heart. If yours is a non-black nation sympathetic to our ideals, we'd be happy to let you be our friend, but you may not be a member of UMOJA.
FAQ: What about observer status?
Well, everything said here is a matter of public record, so everybody in the world can observe all they please. So everybody in the world already has observer status. So, granted. No need to inquire on that further.

2) Back up other alliance members if they're attacked with any military force you can give them.

Remember that, though we might discuss other matters on occasion, this alliance's main mission is mutual defense. If your nation is not willing to stand up and defend a black brother nation that's being attacked, UMOJA is not the alliance for you.
Certainly, some excuses for not contributing to mutual defense are valid in certain situations, but being unwilling to fight or choosing to contribute in a different way are not. It's not about what you want to contribute to mutual defense, it's about what you are able to contribute to mutual defense, whether it's a million-man army or a jeep with two scouts, every member nation must contribute what it is able when the time to defend ourselves comes.

3) Stay out of the domestic business of other alliance members' nations unless they ask you for help.

This one is very simple. Using Ai-sha and Urban Bantus as examples, his nation is a welfare state while mine values personal responsibility highly. But when we're attacked, that's not going to matter. Because we're very unlikely to be attacked by people who don't like us for our economic policies, our attackers are going to be people who want to kill us for the color of our skin. And when that happens, it's not going to matter whether we're democracies, dictatorships, capitalists or communists, all that's going to matter is that we are black nations, and we need to put all our other differences aside and stand together.

I appreciate the concern, But at the present moment, we are in the developing stage, thus we should focus on building and strengthening our alliance before we take on more serious matters. I will take note of it though; needless to say, should that prove to be a direct hostile threat to any member of our alliance, we will take action immediately.

It should be worth noting that at least one nation is currently undergoing a revolution with the intent of the abolition of the Apartheid system, though the legitimacy of said revolution is yet to be determined.

Same as any other citizen. I'd suppose that they go as far as sometimes being the ones doing the discrimination, but nothing state mandated, much less suggested. South Arcea is multi-cultural though, especially in metropolitan areas, so I can only assume that it isn't common.

Considering my "encounters" with The Murry's puppet South Livingston, I never expected to come across a nation with black leaders ruling a non-black population. But rules are rules, and rule number one says population that is majority black.
