Idk. I think it's safe to assume that they apologized to each other at some point that week, and haven't spoken much. We should probably make their first encounter today a bit awkward, after that relations between them return to normal.

I should really make one post the go-to one for catching-up.

Students arrived at the airport. Maryam González and Jaime Strauss-Qamara (both Neo-Meshikan) arrived in a cab just before the IESP bus. Students were introduced to the school and settled in. Some students arrived late.

Time-skip to the first day of school (Monday, September 1st). Cloudy morning. First class was International Culture Studies, where several students introduced themselves and their homelands. More students arrived late. When Reijas (from Holy Marsh) went up, Strauss-Qamara caused quite a stir by revealing Reijas is male, which caused Jaime to be kicked from the class, and he was going for the rest of the day. Nobody yet knows what happened to him during that time period. Homework is two paragraphs on what you could make better about your nation.

Second class was Meshikan Spanish, where students were introduced to the Meshikan Arabic-derived script. Some students attempted to write their names in it. Homework is write a sentence ("My name is ___, and I'm from ___.") in Meshikan Spanish.
Mini time-skip to the end of class day. Rain set in. Pierce managed to infect Henry's phone with a virus, and Maryam, Zoey, Jonathon and others only just barely managed to stop him from hacking into the school system and crashing it. Henry seems to have a thing for Maryam. Zoey seems to have a thing for Jonathon. But Jonathon is just seems to be a flirt.

A little while later that cloudy evening most students meet up in the cafeteria, and witness a heated argument between the Valocci against the Nerotysians and the Marshite. Maryam sees Miles try to record the whole thing, and tries to stop him. Things escalate into a small fight between the two, which others halt.

Storm picks up. Announcement that a tropical storm is approaching from the gulf is made. Maryam searches for a close-by place for cover and leads several students to the gymnasium which has been left open. The group gathers inside, and after Pierce goes to retrieve his roommate, Maryam realizes Strauss-Qamara is there with them.

A new student from Romandeos arrives to Los Arcos Interregional Airport in Kuadalahara. A local Ministry official is tasked with picking him up and getting him to Meshik via fast train. They make small talk during their journey.

Back at the school's gym, students continue to settle in for what looks like will be a long night. Zoey and Jonathon disappear up a staircase. Maryam approaches Raijas and converses with her, eventually learning "she "really is a boy. They converse a little more about their respective homelands until Jaime Strauss-Qamara and two of his friends show up. Jaime attempts to bully Reijas, to little effect, since Reijas does not appear to understand bullying. Maryam intervenes on his behalf, and after a tense moment, Jaime opts to withdraw, only to be stopped by Maria from the Vakolicci Haven, who with little warning throws his across the court while Ogmar handles his cronies. Axina from Verona tries to show off by kicking him, and accidently hits his face. Jaime loses consciousness on the floor.

Maria, Ogmar and Rania from KwaDai decide to brave the storm to take him to the infirmary, where they are told he will be under observation for the night.

Time-skip to that weekend (Friday, since Neo-Meshikan weekends are Friday and Saturday. Most students meet up for breakfast in the cafeteria. In the infirmary, Jaime wakes up--having taken longer than foreseen--to a hurried visit by his well-off parents, who seem to have more pressing matters to do besides checking on their only son.
After a little breakfast talk, Maryam, Zoey and others decide to go out and explore the city, but are forced by Ogmar to wait for Maria, who has gone off to visit Jaime at the infirmary.
