Wasn't sure whether this ought to go here or in technical, since it's specific to the mini game.
So my iPad has a nasty habit of refreshing pages at random intervals. Apparently if this happens after I've played a white card, this brings back the square to play another card, even though I've already got one in play. I have no idea if it actually plays two cards on my behalf, or just the first (or second), but if the former it seems like an easy way to cheat.
