He has also stated that he will not leave the bunker until at least the first week of December.

Unfortunately, our Lady Empress Deirdre Lorne was confirmed dead alongside the entire Imperial family when the military found the remains of the Imperial Palace crashed outside the city limits of the Capital. It would seem the vessel suffered a catastrophic failure in one of its engines for reasons that we may never truly know.

Fortunately though, General Alissa Parker has stepped up to the role of interim leader until the state of emergency is lifted on the member worlds. Already she has brought order to the capital, and while she has acknowledged that the troops on the streets of Valksfrid might send the wrong message, she assures the citizenry that it is merely a temporary measure.
