"Quickly Ali, quickly!" said a man. Two men approached a crate in the middle of the street. They pried open the crate, revealing several Raqqa rifles and ammunition. The man named Ali took the crate inside one of the buildings, avoiding being seen by the zombies. "Jamal, take the rifle. We will take position on the roof and can shoot those zombies from there!" said the man known as Ali.

Jamal nodded and took the rifle as they climbed to the roof of the building.

Jamal waved the Bir Moghrein flag as Ali aimed his rifle at some of the undead below. "Damn undead!" he shouted. He fired in a rapid sucession as Jamal put down the flag and fired upon the zombies below. The gunfire ripped them apart!

The two snipers nodded. "That's those two down..." the spotter said. They waited on the hilltop, ready to fire on any undead to protect their civillians below. They were just about to take a rest before the spotter noticed a civillian getting attacked by an undead! The sniper aimed for the undead and squeezed the trigger. BAM! And the undead lay dead.

The shocked civilian grabbed a knife from the dead zombie and ran off...

The Lieutenant smiled. "Then we shall hold out until then!" he said optimistically. One of the junior officers approached the Lieutenant. "Sir, may I speak?" he asked.

The Lieutenant nodded. "There are survivors in the town, why not we attempt to contact them?" asked the Junior officer. The Lieutenant stared at him and nodded. "We can contact them tomorrow morning. If we do, we can help to make sure they'll get rescued before the bombing of the island." said the Lieutenant. The junior officer gave him a salute and walked away.

No one would have guessed that the world they once knew came to an abrupt end; Azarafrooz Arghavani certainly didn't. He was teaching students just like every other day, and he was about to return home when everything started. Most of its 500 plus students had returned to their own home, and so had the faculties, yet somehow there were about three dozens students who had actually stayed back in the school compound when the Infection arrived and started turning everyone in Vingt-Cinq, the regional capital of Agaléga.

No way to run, all the History teacher can do is to hide and barricade himself, and the rest of the survivors inside the school compound, and wait for assistance. It was large compound, with multiple stories building that spanned for several blocks.

But that wasn't the best thing about it though.

As a private school, it is located in one of the more secluded part of the city, and it's surrounded by 12 feet tall wall, and two massive iron gate. So far, the Infected wasn't able to get in though. Well, that wasn't true. Some did actually managed to get in earlier in the days. The security guard manning one of the gate had died stopping them...and he himself turned into one of them. The rest of the guards had either bailed or got themselves killed. Azarafrooz Arghavani killed the first infected when one of them stormed into the facility where he was conducting a remedial class for a bunch of students. Then, too shocked to believe any of this is real, survival instinct took over... He had killed the creature to protect himself and the students - his students.

He and the group tried to leave the school, then he realized it was much worse outside and the rest of the island city was too open for them to run or hide. More infection were swarming, and they had to go back into the school compound. That was when Armin were infected when a skirmished took place to secure the gate. And at least the satellite news channel are reporting of the so call Z-Outbreak all over the world and spreads important info about these creatures, the Horde. It wasn't a good news at all. So, the survivors banded together and try to fight through the odds.

So far in that team, there were 34 people. 22 of them students, and eight members of the faculty and 2 of the school civilian employee. They were a little bit disorganized at the moment, though they were all determined to make live, and they will fight it out against all odd.

Several of the crates parachuted by the military earlier landed inside the school compound, and the group secured them. Inside they full of supplies, food, medical and the most important one; weapons and ammunition...

Three Impirean Intelligence Services (IIS) agents had been on Agalega Island prior to this news. They were originally sent in response to Bir Moghrein's attacks on Saint Bourbon, but following the outbreak, they had a new objective: obtain a sample of this virus, and get the hell out of Bir Moghrein. With all the zombies around it was a simple task; they killed several and began their journey back to the sea cliff from which they were to be extracted, three bodies stowed in the back of the vehicle.

The door burst open, a man in a white labcoat firmly grasped a case with both of his hands, he was marching to the lab desk accompanied by two armed guards wearing balaclavas sporting black camouflage vests. He, who wore a nametag labelled 'Agent T', sat the case onto the desk in which several scientists were sat around, steadily opening it to reveal three samples of blood in syringes. "Gentlemen," he said, wiping his brow, "In these syringes are blood samples taken from two men and one women on Agaléga island shortly after the outbreak began. All three of them were infected, it is our job to identify the agent and develop a cure or potential vaccine."

The samples were prepped for examination and placed under microscope slides, "So what do we know already?" Agent T asked rhetorically, "Well..it originated from the African continent, it's transmitted via bites therefore fluid contact, samples from humans have caused infection in primates so we can deduce that it is zoonotic, so far all bites have resulted in infection and antibiotics are ineffective - we're either dealing with a virus or a new, more powerful strain of MRSA. Get to work and find out any more information you can." he informed. The other scientists nodded and went straight to work, Agent T beckoned the soldiers to follow him as he left the room.

He entered his office and rushed to the telephone, dialling an obscurely long number, "Hello? People's Commissariat for Health? Yes, that's right. Yes, it's Agent T. Tell the Bir Moghreinians we're making progress. Establish a phone link with their government, we could be onto something. We also need to discuss them details with them. Okay, T out." he hung up and sat down slowly at his desk, folding his arms and gazing at the national flag hung up in the office.

[The Interstellar Federation]

The Interstellar Federation advises immediate containment of the infection along with quarantine of people in contact with the infected. Hundreds of dropships arrive to start evacuating civilians from Bir Mohgrein as the zombiefied hordes descend upon them. As starfighters provide bombing support by dropping incendiary payloads, hundreds of civilians flee towards the military bases around Bir Moghrein, bringing the zombies along with them. There looked like hundreds of thousands of the shambling dead walkers and Interstellar air support did their best to thin them out.

US had no problem Bombing what are considered "Dead zones" and used all ranges of artillery from the simple Howitzer to a Rockets fired from the 2 Guided missile destoyers causing heavy damages to infrastructure and laying waste to most of the infected. The US contacted Bir Moghrein that most heavy infected areas are destroyed. And the USMC Viper gunships are patrolling 24/7 and will respond to the need of assistance.

"They did what?" Cried the Minister for Foreign Affairs, flabbergasted.

"We believe the CNS Fraternity attempted to contact the survivors of Agaléga Island without official clearance." The Admiral repeated. "Captain Andrews made a radio broadcast on an open channel asking any survivors to respond in kind."

"What evidence do we have for this?" Chancellor Campbell asked.

"His political officer radioed fleet command an hour ago explaining the situation and requesting reinforcements to begin scouting in force for survivors." The Admiral explained.

The Minister looked like he was fit to be tied. "If the political officer is fine, why didn't he-"

"The political officer explained it was the sworn duty of the People's Defence Forces to stand against threats to humanity." The Admiral shifted in posture and lowered his voice. "Of course his methods were illegal, but he isn't wrong. That is directly in the oath."

Chancellor Campbell waved his hand dismissively. "Alright then, it seems the Captain's forced our hand. Send a message to the Bir Moghrein government."

As you may be aware, our ship, the CNS Fraternity has been loitering in international waters off the coast of Agaléga Island attempting to make radio contact with local authorities or survivors. We have received no reply, and as such, barring the recipiept of instructions to the contrary, will begin helicopter scouting missions for survivors and intelligence on the nature of this latest threat.

This will be a humanitarian aid mission in accordance with international law. We do not intend to use force of any kind unless fired upon or unless requested from any survivors we may make contact with on the ground against infected. We will be dropping medical supplies and emergency rations near any signs of recent activity as a sign of goodwill.

We appreciate the cooperation of your government and armed forces in resolving this crisis of international concern as quickly as possible.

International Waters off Agaléga Island

As missions went, this one was fairly straightforward. Get in, drop packages to any survivors, attempt to establish contact, then return. There were no objectives which had to be destroyed. Radar image was not a concern. Casualties were not expected. None of this reassured anyone, least of all the helicopter crews. There were a total of five helicopter gunships/low capacity troop carriers assigned to the mission. The lead helicopter in the formation was one of the ship's two medical helicopters. Captain Andrews had hoped that seeing the lead helicopter emblazoned with medical aid markings might persuade panicked survivors to ask questions before shooting. Each helicopter was equipped with several crates of emergency supplies, and a loudspeaker system to converse with survivors on the ground who might not have radios. All of the aid packages also had two-way radios.

Useful maps and intelligence of the area were woefully outdated. They knew where the geography and roads were, for sure, but had far less idea about where the survivors might think to make a stand. Suspected anti-air emplacements and any kind of nuclear or chemical facilities were marked with large red circles to be avoided, but even these were mere guesses. For all that was known, they were flying straight into the path of an automated SAM battery. Still, it was their duty.

The flight crew scurried about with the final preparations on the fifth helicopter. One by one they completed their tasks and peeled away.

"You rare clear and ready to go sir!" The flight deck officer shouted.

The pilot gave a quick discreet nod. A couple of the men inside waved as they ascended. The helicopters formed up in air and began the trek towards the island, no idea what would be waiting for them when they arrived.

The news from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was relayed to the CNS Fraternity and its helicopter detachment at once. There were shouts of mild rejoicing. Now, at least, if they were shot down by a panicked air defence commander, it would be an accident. They didn't have to worry about starting a war with their goodwill mission.

They found the infected long before they found any survivors. Entire neighborhoods of infected poured out onto the streets to crane their heads at the strange noises from the sky. There was some disagreement over whether they ought to open fire on the infected. The commanding officer of the mission decided against it. Their mission was strictly reconnaissance and supply, only to use force if fired upon or if they found survivors in danger. If, when they returned, they were ordered to bomb infected targets, then so be it.

Even so, they did drop several of the big red boxes- a peculiar device designed by a conscripted engineer during the first outbreaks in the Campbell Nation. Built to be dropped from a high altitude outside of infected cities and away from troops, the sole purpose of the object was to make enough light and noise to wake, and attract, the dead. The cacophonic din of the battery powered wailing was designed to mimic the sounds used by crying babies to tap into human emotions. In healthy human beings, the devices would make survivors seek to flee. In infected, the opposite effect had been observed. Although it wouldn't persuade infected to break from actively pursuing a specific target, it would draw others into one place. The location and time of each of these drops was recorded, as well as an estimate of how many infected responded after ten minutes.

As the helicopter formation made way inland, signs of several one-sided skirmishes emerged. Scattered weapons and burning remains of cars, buildings, even bodies told the story of recent struggle. They saw one particular scene which looked like it had been a struggle between riot trucks and many infected. It had been a good defensible position. Something had broken, though. Either they had been flanked, or overwhelmed, or perhaps the sheer madness of it all had made one or two of the riot troops that would have stood in formation lose their nerve. In any case, any infected, or survivors for that matter, were long gone. Even so, they dropped off a crate of emergency supplies.

The helicopters approached a school which appeared to be besieged by infected. Pilots held their ears as one of the helicopters played a note over the loudspeakers. The infected did not break. There were survivors inside.

"Alright boys, you know the drill." The commanding officer spoke calmly. "Aim for the heads. Stay on target, and don't hit the defenses."

The helicopters opened with a salvo of short range unguided rockets aimed just short of the main horde. The vast majority hit the ground, causing minimal damage. A few, though, overshot and plowed into the main group. Soldiers in the helicopters took aim with sharpshooter rifles. There weren't many kills, but there were some. This was a marathon, not a sprint. The lead helicopter hovered above the horde, above the compound walls, and over the courtyard. There were the remains of crates dropped earlier. They dropped their own supplies, several crates full. They lacked a great deal of ammunition, but contained melee weapons, with training manuals on how to effectively wield both those supplied, and a variety of improvised weapons.

Outside the walls, the helicopters had all switched from missiles to guns. The horde was thinned, but by no means gone, and picking off the few remaining would be exceptionally difficult without compromising the school's defenses.

"Alright, we've done what we can. Fan out in a circle around this location. As soon as you reckon you're out of earshot of here, drop some red boxes. That should prevent any more infected from joining this horde. If there're any survivors in there, they'll be able to radio us and call for support."

Off the coast of Agalega island

Two Moudge-class frigates of the Bir Moghrein People's Navy were anchored off the coast of Agalega island. It was the BMS Sahand and the BMS Saam, the two Moudge-class frigates of the Bir Moghrein People's Navy. Two Bell UH-1 Iroquois helicopters painted in the colours of the Bir Moghrein People's Navy were perched on the decks of the Sahand and Saam. This would be where Operation Hurria would be launched, an operation to retake the island from the undead or 'ghouls' of the Ghul Virus, and exterminate them from Bir Moghrein.

Huey 024 and Huey 091 were fueled up and ready as they got ready for the order from High Command to begin the assault on the island. 14 men each loaded up into the Hueys, getting ready for the operation. Boghammar speedboats were tethered to the side, armed with their heavy machine guns and mortars mounted on them. About 400 men were going to be involved in the Operation, 200 of which were crews of the ships and the remainder the troops being sent in to deal with the undead.

"All units, the operation is a go. Good luck." announced the booming speakers mounted on the Sahand and Saam. Huey 091 and Huey 024 took off speedily and the Boghammar speedboats sped off towards Agalega island! The Campbell Nation Helicopter Scout groups had helped bomb the area before the arrival of the Bir Moghrein troops. The Hueys approached the island, right above the town of Vinqit-Sinq.

Never before had the Bir Moghrein military had experience with the undead, or Ghuls as known locally. The helicopters approached the island, guns focused on the sprawling towns below. Hordes of undead were running amok below, bodies of the dead were everywhere. "Huey 091 and Huey 024, open fire." The soldiers on the Huey fired off their M1919 Browning machine guns mounted on the side! The helicopter's rocket pods opened fire on the undead below, blowing the horde in two as the machineguns gunned them down.

Huey 024 flew near several two-story townhouses, where the undead lurked below. The Huey was flying close to a roof filled with undead and the gunner opened fire! The undead were cut down, but there was something the Huey crew did not know. The undead can jump... jump far. Several of the zombies jumped into the open door of the Huey and ripped apart the crew, turning them into undead themselves! They bit the pilot and Huey 024 began spiraling out of control and crashing straight on top of a horde!

"Shit, Huey 024 is down!" said the co-pilot of Huey 091. The helicopter circled around and gunned down more undead as they flew near Huey 024's crash site, seeing several survivors getting mauled by the undead horde. There was nothing they could do for them, and instead flew away. They approached Vinqit-Sinq's private school, where they were amazed to see survivors! The survivors in the school were organized into a militia, armed with machetes and Raqqa rifles. The Bir Moghreinian flag fluttered above the school, and the helicopter approached the school.

One of the crewmen dropped a package of some weaponry and ammunition into the school grounds before cirling around the school and firing upon the undead which was besieging it.

On the beaches of Agalega, the Boghammar speedboats came ashore and about 80 soldiers dismounted. The soldiers were clad in Hazmat suits and held their AKMs as they silently advanced from the beach into some of Vinqit-Sinq's suburbs. The suburbs were infested with the undead, but the soldiers were ready to deal with them. "Open fire!" shouted the commanding officer. "Aim for the heads!" he added. The soldiers fired in a rapid sucession, cutting down the horde as they advanced through the streets of Agalega. Operation Hurria had begun...

Stojamian soldiers have spread on in the LZ, again they stopped there for a time, then came back to clear cities and rescuing survivours, they came across a town with a huge infected horde in it, two zombies catched on the Helicopter, then bit one crew member, the other crew members shot both the two zombies and threw out the infected crew member with a kick, they began shooting down the hordes as well as throwing down on them explosives, and they landed on a roof, with 3 more helicopters joining in.

Several limousines that took the foreign delegations that are going to attend the CIC emergency meeting can be seen driving quietly in the streets below, accompanied by several police cars. The city went through its normal life again, only at this time some military trucks can be seen passing by along the streets. An increasing number of soldiers are stationed near public places and important buildings. It only means one thing.
The capital has been put under total military lock down.
Though so far Bandar Raja and it's neighbouring districts haven't been experienced a single outbreak, emergency protocols are being set up to anticipate the worst.
Inside one of the police cars that accompanied the limousines, Sgt. Muhammad Echsan, the leader of the squads that are assigned to ensure the safety of the foreign delegations answered a phone. "Yes Mr. Prime Minister. We are about to be arrived."
The groups then passed through the busy Merdeka Avenue, where the Prime Minister's office; the Seri Gemilang Palace and the National Parliament Building stood. They then turned right to Soekarno-Hatta Street. Just a few kilometers ahead them, the Persatuan Bangsa Palace, or more known as the CIC Parliament Building where the meeting is supposed to be held, stood.

The emergency meeting is held in the Conferency Room where the monthly issues of CIC are usually discussed.
After several introductions to and from the foreign delegations, the foreign delegations are allowed to take their seats in the reserved place of their respective nations. Some of the chairs are empty, indicating that some of the invited delegations are unable to present.
Prime Minister Datuk Sri Fakhrudin Hidayat cleared his throat before he started the emergency meeting.
"Assalamualaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. On behalf of the Yang Dipertuan Agung, King of Samudera Darussalam, I would like to deliver our gratitude to all of the respected delegations who willing to take their time to come. I know this is really sudden, but a horrible event is going to come.
A mysterious and deadly virus has infected many parts of the world. The quick spreading of this virus that we, Samuderans call Kanibal Virus is really scary. Our health officials stated that within several weeks, or even days, this virus is going to be a global pandemic and threaten humanity to extinction."
He paused for a while.
"And our intention in inviting all of you here is to discuss the best option to face this threat, and to coordinate our responses throughout this difficult times. Particularly, after we heard a sudden massive outbreak in Agalega Island, Bir Moghrein, that took many lifes." He stopped again for a while. "If anyone wants to offer their opinion, please raise your hand."
The Prime Minister than sat back in his chair, waiting for any response from the other delegations.

"Strike team Phoenix Seven, you are cleared for takeoff."

"Roger that."

The group of helicopters took off from the flight deck and began heading inland. After receiving permission from the Bir Moghrein government, the CNS Fraternity had moved closer to shore to speed up helicopter runs. Federation forces had scouted most of the island and passed along their estimates of the heaviest infested zones to the forces participating in the liberation of Agaléga.

"Phoenix Seven, this is Boar One. Our comrades of the Bir Moghrein People's Navy have informed us that Operation Hurria has begun to liberate the island. Your mission will be to search and destroy for large groups of infected."

"Roger that Boar One, Phoenix Seven, over."

The helicopters encountered their first group of infected quite near to the shore this time. The helicopter loudspeakers began blasting heavy metal music from the just outside the sleepy hamlet in order to draw them closer. Infected bodies poured out of nearby buildings, moaning and clawing at the air. As the infected gathered beneath the lead helicopter's speakers, one of the flank helicopters open fired with unguided rockets. It wasn't accurate, but it didn't need to be. As the bodies began to pile up and more infected began to clamber over each other, the lead helicopter hovered slightly upwards, giving the infected a wide margin to claw from. One of the side gunners chucked an incendiary grenade on top of the pile. The mass of corpses was lit ablaze. More infected began to climb onto the pile, self-immolating in the process. The other helicopters ceased fire as the infected took care of themselves.

The first heavy metal song ended. The infected slowed in their approach, although between the moaning on the pile and the crackle of the flames, there was still plenty of noise to attract stragglers.

"Well, that about wraps up this town, huh?" The commanding officer noted. "On to the next?"

CIC Partliament Building

The Campbell Nation liaison fidgeted nervously. He was a scientist, not a diplomat by trade. He merely happened to be the closest person with a working understanding of the virus and federation combat doctrine against the undead. He hadn't been briefed before arriving and so didn't know what the other attendees knew.
"There are effectively two options left to us." The liaison began. "We could double down on our military affords to eradicate the infected, or we could scale back our forces to essential quarantine only and focus on developing a lasting cure. I believe the federation governments intends to focus on the second."
