The rest of my region decided to do absolutely nothing, including not seal the borders, so almost everyone is dead. >:(

As a one nation region with passcode lock, I set the people to finding a cure, went to sleep, and woke up with a negative infection rate and a grand total of: 1 million zombies. And then I had a puppet send in one missile and I am done with this apocalypse!

TEP's been hard at work on curing every nation they see. However, some people decided to go against our universal decision.
One such case had billions of zombies brewing without anyone noticing. It took five-ish hours to cleanse the whole nation with most of the larger ones working on it.

Considering that I had forgotten about the incoming zombie hordes and whatnot (anniversary celebrations being what they are and all...) I logged on today to find that I had been totally taken over by zombies... I mentioned it to our leaders and was nearly immediately cured. Then some yahoo (The Federation of Allderrann) hit me with a horde... I am doing what I can to keep him under control...I'm researching some cure and while I'm at it, I'm hitting infected nations with TZES's.

New Frenco Empire wrote:As research suggested, the nanobot delivery vehicles (missiles, fired from several Orwellian-class SSNs scattered across the Empire's waters) performed remarkably. It's nanoswarm payload swept through the supercities and erased all traces of the so-called "Oglesby Syndrome" by entering the bodies of it's victims and destroying all infected cells. Several mercenary companies from The Aspari Syndicate assisted in deployment, as the Imperial Military suffered high rates of infection. They were rewarded with their own nanoswarm missiles and several Army Special Forces groups were sent to deal with the Aspari infection.

By the end of the day, the virus (of unknown origins. Some suggest a Mechanocratic bioweapon, but we have nothing confirmed as of yet) was quickly destroyed. The death rate is currently estimated to be well below 1%, almost to the point that it can be claimed not a single person was lost due to the apocalypse.

As an update, many former victims of Oglesby are displaying rather debilitating symptoms (such as vomiting, diarrhea, intense headaches and weakness), but the medical community unanimously agrees that this is nothing more than a sign of the virus' effects purging itself from the body. Former infected are making full recoveries in local hospitals under vigilant care of specialists from the Imperial Health Office.

In other news, Intelligence assets have confirmed that the Oglesby Syndrome was present in the Mechanocracy long before hitting the west coast. No foul play from the Russian government is suspected, but investigations will continue.

I have successfully converted everyone in my region to zombies. Unfortunately I myself am not 100% zambies, since nations still experience population growth then everyone is zombies(zombie sex?)

Since the start of the apocalypse, my primary nation, as well as my five puppets, have been in a region that has not been locked. Currently, I stand at the following:

  • People: 21,891,763,868
  • Zombies: 0
  • Dead: 0
How is this possible? I hear you ask. It's simple. I put them in My Pants!

Remember - "There ain't no infection in My Pants!"

I went to sleep and the nation was more or less done for when I woke up. It did seem like it would be a fun diversion, but I couldn't be bothered to try fixing all that damage. Better luck next time, I suppose.

The Nexus of Man is currently purging the native forests with an anti-virus gas. The nation is officially clean of zombies; however, some may linger in the poorer villages in the jungles.

We managed to single-handedly (single-finnedly?) eradicate the entire region of The Confederation. Zero infected, zero survivors. Having both hordes and TZESes is fun!
