With the nation free of zed, Cirantiners are going back to their daily lives. People are still in a daze, but things are returning back to the normal level of 'Not my problem'. The police and army are patrolling the streets, with checkpoints at every major intersection and public transport station. Emergency camps have been set up in all parks to supply medical aid, information and security. Due to he strategy of first exterminating the zombies in an attempt to stabilize the horde enough to allow working on a cure, there are some dead bodies still on the streets; the services are currently cleaning up.
Because the country's main communications equipment was located inside the Capital's main R&D quarter in the same building as the laboratories, with the city's primary power plant next door, it benefitted from the extensively heavy guard army posted to protect the scientists developing the cure; the Internet, Radio, Television and Mobile networks are still up and running.

All of the zombies in Minoa were treated and cured by 3am GMT (i.e. only 5 hours). There was no need for any kind of state emergency or martial law, since doing so would have incited alienation between us and the people. Our solid and sensibly funded healthcare system allowed peacetime A&E services to address the emergencies in a timely manner, before sending experts to cure victims in neighbouring countries. By avoiding a knee-jerk reaction to the idea of a zombie apocalypse, the fear of an apocalypse ultimately did not materialise, and no one died.

The post-emergency inquiry has concluded that the adulteration of the recipe for the seasonal Z-Pop soft drink was the cause of the outbreak. The police have arrested a number of people on suspicion of the relevant breaches of the Food Safety Act: the adulteration of food, upon conviction by the Upper Criminal Court, results in an unlimited fine and prison for up to two years.

Of course, this has been non-canon, but I'm proud of my strategy.

The entire nation of Tokora is surrounded by a wall with TLA (Tokoran Liberation Army) soldiers standing guard within a 50 mile radias making sure that no zombies even get near but also to escort refugees to the safe zones within. No fortress is impenetreble, but Tokora comes pretty darn close.

Thanks to valiant efforts from the Grand Alliance, Vigil is currently engaged in an active clean up effort to dispose of the many deceased that litter the streets and buildings. Candlelight Vigils are being set up around the outskirts to remember the fallen.

In the meantime, fortifications are being made, ammunition distributed and soldiers armed. We finally have a chance to catch our breath, thanks to the Grand Alliance.

After recently clearing the zombie threat, we are doing renovation and expansion of the capital, as our capital's population has increased twice fold due to East Europe migration

Archangel is currently stabilized with people cured and T40X contained. The Aenean Defense Forces are still on patrol however. The total casuality rate is around 12 million dead. Operation Black is currently succeeding. The ADF is prepared to fight against any hordes approaching her borders. Prime Citizen Acaelus has prepared a speech to be delivered in Archangel after he returns from an undisclosed location.

The city was now nothing more than a necropolis teeming with the bodies of undead millions.

An old lady walked rather calm through the streets of Mardi carrying a bag with a couple of fruits, passing by the whole scenery. Corpses on gray and red laid throughout the area, the few still green now being turned back to normal, while the "military" drove some cure missiles around the city. The subway was off, the football match for the friendly State Tournament between Mardi Lopunnies and Red Star Mardi had been postponed, same with the hockey game between Mardi Capitals and Ninon Beart Reapers. Even the Pokémon League's Normal-type Gym at Mardi and most Pokémon Centers and Shops were closed. Arlissa sighed, doing the closest thing to a facepalm.

"I don't know what's worse about this. Wasting so much paint and water or the fact that only English speakers like it."

She entered her home, grumpy, while the last "zombies" were getting the paint on their faces showered out.

RP Timeline: Halloween was a blast! A new Tolmakian film, Zomb-pocalypse has attracted many to the yearly Halloween Convention in Meddli Megamall.

NS Timeline: After brutal fighting, an ocean of corpses covers the capital. Around 45% of the city has been cleared of rotting carnage. Half of the population is decimated.

Niciae city is largely unscathed , there are a few guard and medical posts in demountable huts that were not there two days ago but they are being packed up and sent back to the central stores depot as we speak.
Most of our losses were on foreign worlds that were being cured.

Canterlot is calm. The Royal Guard is currently patrolling the streets, telling the residents that the threat has passed and they can come out from hiding now. Ponies being rather skittish creatures, though, it'll take a couple days for things to go back to normal. Fortunately, we survived the onslaught with no fatalities, so after they get over their initial shock they should be back to their carefree selves.
