Honestly, way to make a complaint over nothing. I know some Australian Greens supporters have a habit of doing that but, seriously.
If you don't like imagining big bad zombies eating your cutie race of people, then my advice is too cover your eyes, or just ignore it happening. You are under no obligation to play it as NS canon, in effect, there is a way to opt-out, you just don't need to press a button to do it.
The moderators are probably doing you a favour by saving you the trouble of needing to click one, I would advice spending more time complaining about issues that are actually going to be of importance to you personally. (Tip: This is pretty low on scale of importance)
Except I am obliged because the NUMBERS ARE THERE ON MY PAGE. And I can't just ignore it, in my mind I know the numbers are going on, whether I look at the screen or not.
If I wanted to make my own world, I wouldn't have bothered to go on this website. In fact I've designed a planet Quilavaland seperate from my nation here which I don't plan to risk entering in any online game.
I came here because I wanted to play a nonviolent political simulation game, without all the war and invasions. Clearly, I was lied to about that.
It's too late to leave now because I'm so invested in this website and I like everything except the zombies, but I feel betrayed. Either put the zombies in the FAQ, or make an opt-out, that's it.
Don't make false claims about being a game not focused on wars.
Also, if opt-outs are so useless, why do they exist for EVERY OTHER FEATURE OF THE SITE?
Also I'd like to mention this has nothing to do with me supporting the Greens, they are logical, not emotional. They support action on climate change because evidence shows it's happening. They support gay marriage because evidence shows it's no different to normal marriage. They support free dental care because it will improve peoples' health.
Conservatives are emotional, complaining about gay marriage when, and I quote you here, they are "under no obligation" to participate in it. And they whine about the economy, which, as it's all just digital data and bits of metal and paper, is "imaginary", so they shouldn't be worried about it.
