We are in the process of setting up makeshift cities far in the north, and on islands, as well as remote medical centers. The military has began the construction of fortress lines, which extend around large metropolises. The Palace and Capitol city, both of which have their own walls have been enforced rather viciously. The most crowded population areas have been quarintined and set under guard by elements of SA Group B's 6th Army. In fact, the 1st Army was sent to protect or quarintine city halls. They don't know which.

The SS has already taken over defense of the Palace, and their Garrison of about 5,000 has been doubled, and defenses tripled. All buildings near the Palace have been evacuated, and torn down to allow for open firing positions. Checkpoints have been set up on bridges, with razor wire being strung out to prevent contamination.
