What about a machines thing, like terminator? With Sky-net or something similar?

Because EMP's.

Just giving my input...
I think it would be pretty cool and snazzy to have something like the Chimera from the Resistance franchise attack. I guess it is pretty much the zombie apocalypse...But with guns. 'Eh, otherwise, if I'm striving for something a bit more different, I'd say some massive world-war scenario thing? Enemy troops, land loss, I honestly have no clue where I'm going with this one.

For actual creatures to replace zombies, I just can't say. They seem like a funny scenario for Nationstates and Natonstates is always somewhat silly. So why not? ^^

Because the Undead Reich needs more zombies, that's why.
Jeez, think before you speak.

Rabbits actually did some bad stuff in Australia.

Same with Abotts

Biotech robots from the future?

I assume because most other supernatural creatures tend to be sentient, and as such, there probably is a nation that is made up of solely them. At least with zombies, most people agree that they are bad, and are a threat.

About the Fairies, I think that there is some mythology out there I'm which the fairies are pretty damn horrifying. Don't quote me on that though.

EMP's from the future. I'm sure that robots will still generate/run on electricity. Hell, people just about do. That's why defibrillators work.

There is lore out there about fairies, but it says that they like to cause trouble for their amusement, would work good for April 1st of next year.

and Werewolves work because they work in packs and the whole story could be that there is one pack leader for the werewolves.

and Vampires are organized and have years of battle expertise, and pretty much be a war against them.

Angels and Demons don't have to do with religious views because their lore goes back to before religion was widespread, and it could be like they are at war with each other and each nation must choose which side to help angels or demons.

Leave religion out of it, if angels or demons are used because they don't belong to any religion at all

I beg to differ. Those will never be called 'real vampires'. There are those like us who have fangs, drink blood, and don't exactly sparkle in the sun. We prefer staying in our own country anyway. Much easier than dealing with annoying humans. Zombies are the only supernatural race who seems to bother with the weaklings.

I have a question. Similar to the ways heterosexual humans are often homophobic, are real vampires like sparkle-phobic?

Actually, there's a very big thing that sets zombies apart from other creatures, and that's the "infection rate." With most attacks (robots, aliens, fairies, etc) you're either alive, or you're dead. Some (werewolves, vampires, the Borg) have some capacity to infect, but it's very slow or only works at certain times.

But Zombies run on an entirely different mechanic. With Zombies, you're either alive, infected, or dead. The number of infected affects the rate at which new infected are created; the number of alive affects the speed of killing or curing the infected; and so on. It's actually a famous type of statistical model, used to plot out the (theoretical) spread of real-world diseases.

So to answer the question, here's WHY????: unlike most other suggestions, zombie attacks spread like epidemics, opening the door for a wide range of interactive options and population-health graphs (all brought to you by the wonderful world of statistics!). I'm not saying that nothing else will work; I'm just saying that you can't replace "zombiez" with "robotz" without completely discarding the basic mechanic that makes it work.

vampires- War could happen only at night
werewolves- military could storm millions of silver bullets
demons- total annihilation of the humans
angels-good guys

No, there are many reasons but just no.

The Zombie thing was the closest as one could get to that.

Because it would just be a war of various scale for an FT nation.

It scales from will give a nose bleed to the enemy with a good punch, to accidentally stepping on them.

And see, if you have an alien invasion capable of taking on a respectable FT nation, then the MT nation gets their ass kicked far harder, a matter of fact, the higher up the FT nation is on that invasion day, the more realistically the MT side should get fucked.

I say this with care, but no aliens, unless we start a game side draft so we can register what tech group we are in so these things can be separated or whatever.
