Why always zombies why not some other supernatural creature like vampires, werewolves, demons, angels, fairies(fay), or some other form of supernatural creature.

vampires - twilight

werewolfs - no

demons - religious so no

angels - religious so no

faries - just no

I beg to differ. Those will never be called 'real vampires'. There are those like us who have fangs, drink blood, and don't exactly sparkle in the sun. We prefer staying in our own country anyway. Much easier than dealing with annoying humans. Zombies are the only supernatural race who seems to bother with the weaklings.

I survived the rabbit invasion. Of course it did involve establishing a "forward line" of hunter's posts backed by archers, but it was possible. :lol:

The answer is simple and logical: nothing.

Nothing.

This site first chose zombies without thinking, just for an April Fools' joke. Then, it became a yearly tradition. No actual thought was given into 'why not aliens, werewolves, or evil mutated Hulk-like green people?'. It's not like the site has to include everything.

EDIT: Yes, I decided to answer the question differently than 'well, everything else sucks', because that's not a reason for anything, especially when zombies also suck.

Vampires - Twilight sucks, realistic vampires don't work, the overall concept works for an evil lord, a super villain, not a threat to the word via infection and consumption.

Werewolves - Not really scary, work best as packs not hordes.

Demons - Nope, not everyone likes the whole religious bit, someone got offended at a zombie Jesus for lords sake, and with demons we have to do a shit ton of generalization since there are so many variations.

Angels - Don't bring up that legion movie, your making me think of that movie......I mean god damn not angels man....

Fay - Lol nope

Zombies work the best, always do, though next year or April fools should be with Robots for lulz.

And even then, Zombies are a stupid option realistically, which is how I'm taking this infection canon wise (not main canon, more like side fluff), I say moderately weak, but advanced aliens is the best option for everyone.

Do you really take the Batarians seriously? Ignoring orbital bombardment those suckers are dipshits that run into fire, ME races are rather low tier because they need Relays, so maybe take some inspiration from that limit, add in the usual incompetence and viola!

Fuck, Zombies are going to die like nothing, yet we are going with zombies, I wouldn't be concerned about aliens being able to take you guys out.

And Yes, i said you guys, because I have a strong chance, and all of my other puppets can win.
