[i]On April 1st, 2012, NationStates banded together to achieve a goal: to beat Max Barry's 25 million shares ([url=http://www.nationstates.net/page=ipo]Shares?[/url]) on one nation. As we came close to 20 million shares with five minutes on the clock, we tried to combine but got the error message "I'm afraid I can't let you do that." Wondering what was going on and freaking out, we found [url=http://www.nationstates.net/page=news/2012/03/31/index.html]this[/url] and ourselves with over 44 million shares. Seems the NationStates Community has a place in Max's heart![/i]

And we're done. After spending the last day and a half helping as many people as possible, we're returning all our cure teams back to TNSC for the last tick.

To everyone we were able to help; it was a privilege. To those of you we couldn't save; are deepest regrets.

I believe one of us has been putting together a list of all the regions we tried to save, and will probably put it up later.

This past day, the world was in a desolate state.

But we were among the first to discover: Using the cure, would save our nations from the Zombies. And so it began, the fight of The NationStates Community.

Slowly, but surely, we made progress.






Our progress was good enough to earn ourselves a mention in an early news post!



Eventually our success was so good, we were able to try to save other regions.
