What attack and defend idea..? If you are referring to R/D that already exists and has for years...this exists not to add 'attacking and defending' but to change game mechanics to further things.

For the record - all these changes (with the exception of "Reformation SC proposals") are still on the agenda. Regional Officers and Delegate-Elect are the two that are likely to be done in the short/medium-term. They also happen to be the most significant changes, so require a lot of work.

If anyone is wondering why this is taking so long, the original instruction when picking changes to emerge from the Summit was to go for "one or two" -- we went for seven (subsequently reduced to six). Given all the other admin things that also have needed doing (TG system, Rift theme, Polls, Dispatches etc.) it's not surprising they're taking a while. I managed expectations poorly initially when saying "some are not likely to be implemented until next year" as that was never likely, and the reality is that some of these are still a long way off.

But....but.....I absolutely love those proposed changes. I NEED number 3 atleast. I NEED it!!!!!!!

Implementations like these are probably on the back burner right now due to other more important things in which you would not know about because a) it could be a surprise or b) it's not that important to be explained to the general public.

At this point, they're still discussing which one would be best for game balance ... plus looking at IRL conflicts that prevent adequate prepping for new code.

It's not like we need a bunch of posts to make something happen. There are other factors at work. If people want to bump this thread every couple of weeks or so for attention purposes, that's fine. If you're encouraging spam posts, not so much.

I was being sarcastic, still though, there's a clear anti-raiding majority out there. So any changes made democratically would completely make the Game unbalanced.
