The Estate of Lord Jamison Gould
London, England
April 8, 1912

"I must inform you, Lord Gould sir, that the departure date for your voyage aboard the RMS Titanic conflicts directly with the date you have chosen for the arrival of your...company, I suppose you called them." a quiet, politely disposed man spoke with the slightest of Irish accents, something which he'd trained hard to mask as well as possible after his employer referred to his manner of speech as 'common and without refinement.' He kept his hands folded behind his back, glancing down at a man furiously penning some sort of document or another, perhaps even a memoir of his own, atop a clearly heavy and clearly expensive desk of dark Cuban mahogany wood.

"Does it really? How forgetful of me. I suppose I'll simply have to invite them to New York City with me." the man behind his desk answered as he dipped his quill pin into the inkwell beside him, continuing to scribble with great urgency whatever it was he was so focused on. The quill was perhaps a bit old fashioned, but the steel-tipped pens he insisted lacked refinement and class that separated men of his means from the lower class. He stopped his relentless inscribing, setting his utensil down and looking the Irishman in the eyes with a nod. "Could you see to that then, Timothy?"

"With all due respect sir, I'm certain that they will all be haggard from such long journeys. Perhaps it would be better to simply stay and receive them. After all, many more ships will sail into port after today." the gentleman answered, hoping to dissuade his employer from having his guests tail him clear across the Atlantic, a prospect many of them he was sure would find less than appealing after journeys of many miles already, for some. On top of that, he had no desire to oversee the security of the estate by himself, as many of his peers that worked under Lord Gould were given leaves of absence to visit family or simply enjoy themselves in the city proper after Jamison had assumed he would be gone.

Lord Gould heaved a sigh. "Well damn it all I've already bought the ticket. I suppose there's nothing to be done now." he shrugged. There was plenty more wealth to go around, it was of no huge consequence to him. "Ah, when are they expected to arrive?" Gould asked, standing from his desk and strolling about the circular office they resided inside, stroking the man of an impressive lion head mounted on the wall. An impressive, fiercely snarling creature, even in death.

"Today, as a matter of fact." Timothy answered Lord Gould, who nodded.

"Then let them sail without me. I'm quite eager to meet these new faces you've summoned for myself." Gould said, taking a seat once more. "Bring me my tea, if you would. As hot as can be."

Greetings and Salutations Lords, Ladies, and Gentlemen,

On behalf of Lord Jamison Gould, son of the late Eddison Gould, scholar, entrepreneur, gentleman, and current holder of Gould Estates, I have the honor of inviting you to Gould Estates in London at the request of Lord Jamison Gould. Your nobility, refinement, and most importantly a skill in crafts beyond simply proper etiquette, horseback riding, and curtsying have caught the eye of my employer. He invites each and every one of you to browse his family's private Museum, containing treasures and artifacts, rare specimens and oddities from across the world, from the darklands of Africa to the Holy Lands.

If you are not enticed, then consider this: Lord Gould has a proposition which promises to bring riches, glory, and adventurous tales to tell. I have not been permitted to enclose the details of the arrangement within this letter, though I assure you Lord Gould does not make empty promises.

Timothy McKinnon, Steward to Lord Jamison Gould

Howdy, all. This little thread will be the first I've attempted to get out there in some time, but it was an idea that's been mulled over for a while now. Essentially, the RP will be centered around Gentlemen, Ladies, Scholars, perhaps even a few filthy commonfolk who, due to their skills in...certain crafts (legal or not), have caught the eye of Lord Jamison Gould, a prominent man of title whose family has long held a private museum of great value. He's now gone to great lengths to assemble an entourage to assist him in expanding his family's private collection, yearning for adventures in the world and the hidden treasures of antiquity as well.

The Rules:
1. As OP, word is law, you know this I'm sure
2. Any Co-OPs I may assign have this same jurisdiction, of course

The Accepted:

Name: Lord Jamison Edwin Gould

Age: 29

Appearance:Here

Personality: Jamison Gould has always been an industrious young man, from personally seeking out the men and women who he feels will give him the best chance of achieving his overall goals, working to build up his network of contacts and friendships across the world to help facilitate his travels and information years later, even earning favor with some foreign officials and higher-ranking men within his native British Empire. Though of comfortable birth, hard work has never particularly bothered him when it must be done. He is a caring young man who develops strong bonds with those he works beside closely, although at times he acts selfishly where it comes to bettering his own situation short-term, he would never back-stab any of his associates. Well-educated and aware of the world in which he lives, he doesn't keep with him some of the prejudices his peers might hold.

Nationality: English

Skills: An impressive diplomat and persuader of men and women alike, an meticulous planner who rarely fails to pay attention to all the little details, and a surprisingly skilled archer from many years of willing practice on the grounds of the Gould Estate. He is well versed in many of the customs and traditions of places across the globe.

Badass Adventuring Equipment: Daikyu longbow, M1911 Colt pistol, general survival (ropes, provisions, Binoculars, hatchet, torches), Polish cavalry sabre (a gift to his father from an old friend with family tradition within the Winged Hussars)

Likes: A good read -- particularly novels like Heart of Darkness or Huckleberry Finn, that inspired him as a young man to pursue a life of adventure. Hunting, as evidenced by many impressive beasts mounted on the walls of his estate. Despite his longing for adventure in the open world, he also enjoys the luxuries of a wealthy upbringing, and takes great interest in the beautiful architecture of far-away lands, particularly the Far East. Haikus, archery.

Dislikes: Disloyalty and Dishonesty, talking too much, Cowardice, failing to uphold promises, abandonment

Biography: Born and raised in London to his father, Lord Jamison Tyler Gould, but while his father was vacationing in Italy with a long time friend of his, this served as a microcosm for the relationship he had with his father the rest of his life. Jamison Edwin's mother died on the birthing bed despite the numerous doctors and midwives father had ensured his wife would have prior to his departure, and when Lord Gould returned to this news he was devastated. For the years of their marriage prior to the birth of his son father had been distant and cold a majority of the time, surrounding his mother with the luxuries and bounty of their wealthy estate, but leaving her alone for much of their time together. After his father revealed to him these insights, Jamison Edwin blamed his father for the rest of his life for his mother's death, reasoning that she didn't feel she had much to live for, an unloving husband who probably wouldn't love their child either. The relationship between father and son was typically strained, with Jamison Edwin resenting his father and his father trying desperately to patch things up between them for most of his later years. As much as he tried he still afforded little time to his family, and as such Jamison Edwin spent more time with his personal tutors and servants around the estate than with his father.

As a young boy Jamison Edwin was unhealthy, contracting first colds, but at age 9 contracted a near fatal case of tuberculosis. His father was again on holiday, but was rushed home after receiving the news and stayed by his son's side as numerous highly-renowned doctors from London, France, Spain, even Japan and China tried their various methods to ensure the boy lived. Jamison Edwin pulled through, and despite his father's relief and joy, still had a near nonexistent relationship with him into his teenaged years.

One of the doctors that helped cure him was a Japanese man by the name of Osamu Sho, who on top of his herbal medicinal knowledge was a tutor in literature, the arts, and a historian. Above all other men who educated the young Jamison Edwin, he preferred his time with Osamu Sho, and took him as a role model and inspiration later in life. They would extend their sessions for hours, Osamu Sho caring for this young English boy, educating him about the world, beauty, and poetry, sparking a love of Haikus in the young Jamison Edwin. He became encapsulated with the culture and beauty standards of Japan, and his father eventually had a garden of oriental flora planted on the estate, even including some of the famed Cherry Blossom trees of the island nation. Osamu Sho also gave him a love for archery that sticks with him today in teaching him of the samurai, their code of honor and valor in battle, and gifted him a Japanese longbow that he still uses on occasion. Eventually, his father saw that his education by these tutors was fit to end, and they were sent home. Despite his pleas to keep Osamu Sho as a staff member of the estate, perhaps a gardener, father and the Japanese man insisted that he must return to his home.

After this, his father began to teach him about finances, running the estate, all the things that he would be expected to do as Lord Gould. He began to take vacations across the world with his father, who he discovered was also quite versed in foreign cultures and customs. He still perceived him as a coward and disloyal however. And this was not reconciled before the untimely death of Lord Gould. A storm took him in the Irish Sea weeks after Jamison's 26th birthday, leaving him an orphan and the newly dubbed Lord Gould.

Nationality: British (of French descent)

Skills: Rifle Shooting, Vast Knowledge of History and Archaeology, Large Network of Contacts, Planning and Logistics.

Biography (2 Paragraph minimum): Born in 1857 to a wealthy aristocratic family in Calcutta, India, Godfrey had a privileged and cultured upbringing. His Father's job as a senior member of the local administration ensured that Godfrey (of French Huguenot descent) was well educated and fiercely loyal to the Crown and Empire. However, all was not well with the plucky young gentleman as his Father, desiring that his only Son follow in his footsteps and become a Government Official, restricted and inhibited Godfrey from doing as he pleased. With sufficient funds, stoic bravery (and a pinch of foolishness) Godfrey left the comfort and certainty of Calcutta and boarded a ship for England.

Upon reaching his homeland, although he hadn't actually set foot in Britain before, Godfrey wasted no time in making the most of his new found freedoms but before long his vast wealth started to dwindle. Using literally every penny he had, and despite the practice being outlawed only 7 years earlier, Godfrey managed to buy (or bribe) his way to an Officer's Commission in 1877 aged just 20 years old. He was made Lieutenant in the 5th Field Company of the Royal Engineers, with his first posting to Natal, South Africa in late 1878.

He fought at the Battle of Isandlwana in 1879 during the Zulu War where he performed admirably but ultimately was forced to flee after his position was overrun. Deeply scarred by the battle, he resigned his commission in 1880 and returned to England.

With solid references and being of good character, Godfrey became a foreign correspondent for The Morning Post - in 1882 he left for The Sudan to cover Britain's war against the Mahdists and saw first hand the Battle of El Teb in 1884. For covering this battle his work was highly acclaimed and thus his opportunity to travel increased further.

1887 saw Godfrey explore the Zambezi, in 1889 he travelled to Mesopotamia to observe the many archaeological sites there. In 1892 an expedition to traverse the Sahara Desert was cut short when he contracted Malaria - his health only fully recovering a few years later. His greatest adventure, however would come in 1900 when he reported on the Boer War - his writing style and use of symbolism struck a cord back home as well as his daring exploits against the dastardly Boers. Upon returning home he was bestowed with honours from Her Majesty Queen Victoria - Godfrey became a well loved national hero.

With the years creeping up on him his ability to travel was diminished but he still continued to write and be a prominent authority on all historical matters, often taking on the role of guest lecturer a prestigious universities such as Oxford and Cambridge. Now well in to the 20th century he is intrigued to recieve a letter which may open the door, once again, to exploration and adventure.

Name:[/b] Major Charles Edward Hill
Age: 35
Appearance:

Image

Personality: Charles is what the press would call a ‘proper gentleman’. A stiff upper lip, unwavering in the face of battle. A hero, too, of the Second Boer War, where he distinguished himself with his mannerisms and his grasp on etiquette. A fine gentlemen, just the right amount of respect and ambition. No respect whatsoever for Germans, French and Africans alike. Although, he is a smooth talker and can get a few things done with the press. He fact that he knows his place as a proper gentlemen is also highly regarded among his peers, although his arrogance is despised among the lower classes.
Nationality: English, by jove!
Skills: A good horseback rider, and a proper gentleman. Charles knows how to hold his cutlery, how to address Lords and Ladies, and what the proper etiquette is for an artillery shell interrupting dinner. From his days in the Boer War, he has also learned how to be 1) a reasonable shot, and 2) a good captive, as his company was taken prisoner late in the war. However, he never lost his manners, and had quite a few fanciful dinners during his time in captivity. He knows how to play the piano, too, and can recite some of Shakespeare’s sonnets by heart. Oh, and he also knows a little bit about camping and sleeping in the open, although he dreads the process.
Badass Adventuring Equipment:
Slouch hat
Martini-Henry carbine (+ bayonet)
Bandolier
Binoculars
Horse
1908 pattern cavalry sword
Length of rope
Likes: Shakespeare, a good dinner, etiquette, piano music, Britain
Dislikes: War, fighting, boredom , bad manners, upstarts, Godfried de la Noye
Biography: Charles was born a gentleman. We can say nothing less. As the second son of the Hill family, he was destined to make a path of his own. His older brother, Alexander, would inherit the Estate. Charles had the opportunity to make a name for himself. At least, after his name was made by his parents. Like all the children of his standing, he received a high-end formal education. He learned Greek and Latin, history, geography, mathematics, increasingly complex as he became older. More importantly, he learned how to behave in a proper fashion, how to address those of less, equal and higher standing. Cutlery and speech, those were his prime points. Of course, he could name all the colonies of Britain and all the nations of Europe with their heads of state. He knew how to speak French, surely, and what goods came from India. Important things to know, but none so important as proper gentlemanly behaviour.

As the second son, however, there were risks. In his early adulthood, Charles had enrolled into the military academy, like so many men of his young age. He became part of the Imperial Yeomanry, one of the most elitist units of the British army. During the Second Boer War, he slowly climbed up the ranks without being part of any real combat. His unit was one that the Boers tried to avoid at all costs, which succeeded fairly well. They had a few long-distance engagements, but those would soon end as the Boers made off on their horses, the British never being quick enough to catch them. Eventually, nearing the end of the war, the squadron of which Charles was the captain was ambushed. Charles received a mauser round to the shoulder, rendering him useless for the rest of the fight. His unit was defeated and captured, and for the rest of the war his squadron resided in a POW village deep in Transvaal territory. Most of the time, life was pleasant. As an officer of His Majesties Army (Queen Victoria had only recently passed) he received good food and even better company. He was freed when the Boers and Brits signed their peace treaty, ending the conflict. He returned home a hero, and has lived off that reputation as a wounded veteran ever since, although his wound has entirely healed. He fought in a few more colonial engagements, but in 1908 he happily returned to Britain to spend some time in the Home Country. He was just about to get bored when he received his invitation.

Name: Professor Simon Igorovich Borodin PhD
Age: 45
Appearance: Here
Personality: Quiet, reserved, and placid, Borodin is not only tepid, but nearly detached. He is an absent minded professor, and can talk for hours about various subjects, the few that interest him anyway. Despite his fame in the academic world, he is a very solitary individual, and it shows.
Nationality: Russian
Skills: Linguistics. He speaks Russian, Estonian, English, Japanese, Korean, Manchu, Kazakh, Turkish, Arabic, and German. He has very few other skills aside from this, though he is a decent navigator, writer, and negotiator when needed.
Badass Adventuring Equipment: A notebook with fountain pen, and a leather book satchel. Also a flask and humidor.
Likes: Vodka, cigars, stimulating conversation, writing, teaching, learning, not much else.
Dislikes: Fighting, lots of people, discomfort, conflict in general, having to use weapons, his own fame.
Biography:
Borodin was born in Tallinn to a Russian mother(who is rumored to be a distant relative of the Tsar), and a wealthy merchant of Georgian descent. Shortly after his birth, his family moved to Narva, where they lived a quiet life. Borodin's family was a member of the upper class, due to his father's successful fur business. From a young age, Borodin was fascinated by linguistics, driven by the fact that he lived in a trilingual area of the Russian Empire. At the age of 14, he was sent to a boarding school in Moscow, where he was exposed to even more languages as he encountered students from across the Empire. Of course, he was not the best student. He tended to ignore subjects he did not want to study, which got him in trouble with his grades. Scraping through school, he graduated at the age of 17. Avoiding conscription into the Russian Army, which he was faced with, he travelled to America, where he studied Oriental Languages at Yale University, paid for by his parents. During this time, he did much field work in Manchuria, China, Japan, and Korea, which he saw as a necessary evil in learning about linguistics. It became clear he was a master in the field, as he went on to developing a new translation/conversion system of Manchu, Korean, Chinese, and Japanese characters into Cyrillic. This gained him enough academic renown to then pursue a PhD at Columbia University. Whilst there, he wrote quite a few translation dictionaries from various languages to others. He also expanded his repertoire of languages, doing field work across the Ottoman Empire. Obviously, he had a knack for languages, so the State University of Petrograd invited him to become a professor of oriental languages in their linguistics faculty. He returned to Russia, to his capital city, and began his professional career.

After achieving his tenure, Borodin wrote many books on languages and language learning, and expanded his character translation system, earning him more academic stardom. In 1904, the Russo-Japanese War came to pass, and Borodin was enlisted by his government to do field translations. He was shipped off to Japan, and despite the academic experience, he hated every minute of the experience. During the Treaty of Portsmouth negotiations, he was a chief translator, allowing him to meet the Tsar, President Roosevelt, and the Emperor of Japan. After the end of the war, he returned to his professorship. He became more aloof, and wrote a novel based on his experiences in the Russo-Japanese War. Entitled "A Man of Many Tongues on the Battlefield," it achieved international acclaim due to its tongue-in-cheek and satirical style. Having written it to pass time, Borodin was annoyed when it achieved success, as it overshadowed his real academic achievements. This caused him to withdraw even more from the world, putting much of his professorship work onto his assistants, and taking up other hobbies, such as courting his 18 year old girlfriend, who is a student of the Mariinsky Ballet(he is her "sponsor"). With the book having only just arrived in Britain, Borodin was very cynical about accepting the titular invitation, expecting it to be regarding his book. Though he accepted.

Name: Ese Miryam sheri Aharu ("Isis Mariam, the daughter of Aaron"-yes, names like "Isis" and "Osiris" and so on are still used by Egyptians)
Age: 19
Appearance: Surprisingly hard to find an old photograph of an Egyptian The unveiled one here is also applicable. I found it before I got the old one.
Personality: With a quick mind and a quick wit, Ese is well-versed in poetry and history, although she holds a greater deal of street-smart than book-smart. She is a bit of an explorer, with high natural curiosity, although she holds the self-restraint necessary to not act of her curious nature. Curiosity is a double-edged sword, however, and she can easily feel suspicions towards others.
Nationality: Egyptian (Coptic)
Skills: Dancing, conversation/persuasion, very street-smart, multilingual, musician
Badass Adventuring Equipment: Leather jacket, ropes, switchblade, grappling hook,
Likes: British authority ("No slaves is a good policy"), fineries, Egypt
Dislikes: Turks, slavery, coldness, arachnids, heights
Biography (2 Paragraph minimum): Born into a Turkish-controlled Egypt, Ese had a rough upbringing. Born to a Jewish ("Syrian") mother and a Coptic father, she grew up in Egypt among the lower classes of society, suppressed by Turkish law. Even though Egypt was, in theory, a separate country, it was ruled under tight Turkish puppetry. Early in her life, at the tender age of 10, she was kidnapped and sold into slavery as an 'Almeh, trained to be a courtesan. She was given education in the classical arts of history and poetry, and was taught how to perform various styles of dancing that she was to use to her owner's delight. This education continued for 3 years and, upon her 13th birthday, she was officially deployed as a trained dancer for her master, and whatever buddies he chose to bring along.

In this stage of her life, she used her free time to pick up music. She learned various instruments, gaining more of a role as a general performer. This continued until she was 17, at which point she found a convenient escape from her life of slavery and ran into the desert, getting lost in the city. From that point onward, she lived as a mostly homeless lady, using her acquired skills to bring in money for food and clothing. She even, for a brief time, got into the trade of fake mummies, which brought in significantly more than any performance ever had. Because of the sheer authenticity which her artificial mummies produced, she gained a reputation in Europe as a respect artifact dealer. It was through this reputation that she was invited to a few museums across Europe, and British lords in Egypt even took her all the way to London to discuss the continued issue of slavery in British-occupied territories. It was through these means that she acquired an invitation from Lord Gould, and it was then that she finally confessed her crude trade in false mummies, and yet she accepted the invitation anyways.

Name: Cameron Moore, Lord Blackwell, Viscount Lakewood (granted to him), and 12th Earl of Jersey (inherited)
Age: 28
Appearance: TBD

Nationality: English of course
Skills: Marksman, knows various styles of hand to hand combat and martial arts.
Badass Adventuring Equipment: TBD
Likes: Fighting, cooking, some other things.
Dislikes: killing, using guns, most of the Aristocracy
Biography: He was born in northern England, on the Blackwell Country Estate. While not the first male, nor the eldest of the Lord's children, he was the only child that could be considered illegitimate. He wasn't exactly illegitimate, but the Lord treated him as such, as the current heir was his pride and joy. He still got training and the like, they had appearances to keep up of course. Although he was the child of a renowned Lord very few new he was there let alone that the Lord had another son. Things changed though when he was 15, while gallivanting around in London, his brother ended up dying in a supposed accident. Thus Cameron became the heir but things didnt change much, and now he was blamed for his brothers death.

When he was 16 he left after having a falling out of sorts with his father. He joined the British military and fought in china near the end of the Boxer rebellion, and then after that ended he fought in the Anglo-Aro war in Africa. When he came back in 1905 he was changed, no longer was he the tall lanky youth that had a hint of mischievousness about him. He came back, only because his father was ill and had some important information for him. His brothers death wasn't an accident, he had been dosed with laudanum, which was a painkiller of sorts made from opium and morphine. His father wanted him to stay and to take over the estate and his holdings in London and other parts of England. He refused, and his father threatened to disown him but he left anyways.

He traveled the world for his own purposes and in search of adventure. He found plenty, and his actions in some places lead, the Crown to grant him a Viscountcy. While he was in Italy, he encountered an individual who worked for a fellow he only referred to as the Venetian. He worked for them for a while doing things, then he caught wind of something that concerned him, his father had died. He left Italy, angering the Venetian and company, but he didnt care, he could deal with anyone they sent after him easily enough. His father had gotten married in his absences, probably to hope for another heir, which he got, but he died shortly afterwards.

When he arrived he knew something was up, the countess didn't Know about him, and acted rudely. However when it was revealed he had inherited the title and peerage, and not her son she objected. Later she both tried to seduce him and hired people to kill him. that is when he figured something was truly wrong, his father had been murdered, much the same way his brother had. She was responsible, she had planned to marry the Earl and give birth to a male heir then kill him off and inherit everything through her son, she had not expected Cameron. He dealt with her easily enough and she was hung, that was a few years ago. Since then he has been doing what he wished, though still dealing with his duties as a viscount and Earl, though he kept the identities seperate for the most part. Very few know he is Viscount Lakewood, even fewer know he is the Earl of Jersey.

After the Spanish-American war, he was shipped to the Philippines to help with the occupation it. In 1899 however, The Philippine- American War happened. During the war, Charles was discharged after getting into a fight with his superior officer and was sent home. When he came home, He discovered that his Father had died and left his fortune to his younger brother, Jake. Down on his luck, he decided to put his boxing skill to good use and find a promoter. After a few amateur fights, He found a promoter name Tom Miller, who promised to make him famous. He spent the next 12 years traveling across the United States and Europe boxing in prize fights slowly making a small fortune. One day, on his 31st birthday, he was in a match with a newcomer named Bill Waters, who promptly beat Robert in his own game. Humiliated, Robert decided to take the money he already made and bugger of to Florida to live the rest of his life in comfort. Recently, he had received a letter from some guy named Lord James Gould. Charles, being curious, decided to take him up on his offer and went on a boat heading to London.

I'll be working hard, but surviving expected riots will be a blast.

I'll definitely be lurking, and will perhaps apply en route.

Eh something like that, He would be a protector and formerly a problem solver, for a probably sketchy aristocrat (not that there such a term would apply to any of the great nobles)
Also could he be like a secret noble type person as well, but does this out of boredom. if you are confused just wait for the app, the bio should explain it.

Name: Cameron Moore, Lord Blackwell, Viscount Lakewood (granted to him), and 12th Earl of Jersey (inherited)
Age: 28
Appearance: TBD
Personality: Loyal, harsh, ruthless, he can be kind and friendly, as well as charismatic when he wishes.
Nationality: English of course
Skills: Marksman, knows various styles of hand to hand combat and martial arts, he is also proficient in multiple languages.

Dislikes: Religious people, war, native people, savage people, bitter things, people that uphold their values too much.
Biography:
To say that Ludwig born with the luckiest star above him is simply the biggest understatement anyone could make about him. He's born as a gentleman to the rich, cultured, and connected Austrian noble family. But that's not where his lucky start at the world would end. Indeed, back when he was young, when any of his peer just dozing off or listened to pass during their high-end formal education, Ludwig would listen attentively instead. He have this irrational love for the academic, and his family often encourage this. So he breezed through Greek and Latin, history, geography, mathematics. He soon grow up to be a smart. talented, and privileged kid, a lucky one indeed.

But then the worst thing happen in his days of youth, Ludwig mother died from a brain ailment just when he's 17. As if that's enough to satisfy the Reaper, his brother catch some flu and died two years later after his mother. Shocked and filled with grieve, he decided that he will be a doctor to make sure none of his family will have to go to underworld prematurely ever again. He studied hard and decided to use whatever of his family privilege and wealth of they can spare for him to chase his soon-to-be-successful medical career by enrolling the best university there is, Medical University of Vienna, where he graduated as fast as he could before told by his father to join the military for at least 5 year to "legitimate" him in his eyes as the second heir if anything happen to his brother. Despite his fast school however, he often regarded as one of the best graduate from the institution by most of its professors and teachers. He was regarded as one of the finest students among his fellow people, and his professor predicted that he would soon graduated cum laude (or whatever they called it in Austrian Empire) and be a professor himself if he just have a little bit more time.

He then signed up for voluntary service with the Austrian infantry division as their field medical staff, by passing certain test and such from his noble standing and medical education. This is where all of his talent shine, more so than in Academic world which he loved so much. His calm personality added with his uncanny perception and his proficient medical skill make him one if not the best field doctor in the whole Imperial Austrian Landwehr. He's also not a bad shot himself, able to handle his rifle and small arm. His involvement in certain international conflict bring him to the most exotic land yet bloodiest battle as well, such as Crete, Bosnia and etc. In the middle of field surgery is the place where he contemplate if god even existed. He's not a devoted catholic like most of his family, but on that time he decided revoke any and such belief from his life for good. No god would allow human suffering in these beautiful and civilized places, not even if it's a pagan one.

After Crete, he resigned and decided to open a practice instead. He grow weary of wars and how most of European romanticized it, and instead decided to redeem his years fighting with years of healing. But when just his life calmed down to a simple serenity of a peaceful Austrian doctor, he received his invitation on his front door. Piqued by the offer of adventure, he decided to at least brush the dust from his hat and look what this British gentleman can offer him to pull him out from his boring yet peaceful medical practice.

Personality: friendly, intelligent, a bit high strung.
Nationality: Ottoman

Badass Adventuring Equipment: Standard adventuring gear (map, compass, canteen, ect.), a Janbiya, Her notebook/sketch book and writing implements.

Her mother was able to slip out and board a ship bound for Italy. From there her pregnant mother made her way to England as an asylum seeker. Alexandra was born in London and she and her mother took up residence in Whales.

Over time her mother caught the eye of a rich nobleman and married, after that Alexandras' education began. When she turned 12 her mother told her of her birth place and she became obsessed with learning everything she could about her homeland. Eventually at the age of 18 she accompanied her father on a trip to Cairo and became enchanted with the lands there. The great pyramids captured her imagination and she would stay for 2 whole years studying them with other English scholars.

When she returned she had changed. No longer English nor Ottoman she began to view herself as a traveler. In constant conflict with her place of birth and place of origin. She would spend the next 2 years studying abroad and learning about her homeland.

Name: Sir Godfrey de la Noye CVO OBE
Age: 55
Appearance:
Image

Personality: Stoic, Reserved, Full of Dry Wit, Adventurous, Daring, Tactful.

Nationality: British (of French descent)

Skills: Rifle Shooting, Vast Knowledge of History and Archaeology, Large Network of Contacts, Planning and Logistics.

Badass Adventuring Equipment: Usual Standard Equipment (Rope, Maps and so on), Webley Revolver, Personal Journal with Extensive Notes and Information. Finally a Pith Helmet (compulsory for all explorers).

Likes: History and Archaeology, Travelling, British Expansion, The Heroes of Old (Drake, Raleigh), Collecting Artifacts.

Dislikes: Lack of Self-Control, Challenging Authority, France (ironically).

RP Sample: Would the above bio be suffice?

Thanks.

The name's James. James Usari. Well, my name is not actually James Usari, so don't bother actually looking it up, but it'll do for now.
