Yeah, but I feel like it's a fairly moral thing to do considering the vast majority of her work was sting operations, although she later turned to shooting crime lords in perhaps the most merciful way that an ex-slave could.

Soon, Sonny and the LCB were setting up hotspots all over their neighborhoods, and stealing, cooking and buying any of the Injectables they could get their hands on, so they could sell it to the many VR Tweaks who were popping up all over the city.

Eventually other gangs started catching on to the new market the LCB had created, and they to began to set up hotspots and make VR Chems. As gang violence dramatically increased in the wake of more and more gangs entering the market, the LCB was slowly picked off from their original 133 members, to only 30, many of whom began lashing out at rival gangs, killing many of their members and vandalizing their territory. The rival gangs began to retaliate, killing anyone they found who associated or claimed to be members of the LCB. This violence, and long downturn of the LCB led Sonny, and another man called Match, to split off from the LCB, and began calling themselves the Samurai, due to their shared Japanese ancestry, even though neither truly knew much about japan. They found a chems house, who served the many people addicted to VR Chems, which was unaffiliated to any other gangs, and agreed to protect it and the patrons, as long as the owners payed them protection money. The house began to call itself the Samurai Tea Shop, serving their VR Chems in tea, and started adopting many japenese and symbols and characters to go along with their samurai and tea shop themes, as well as the name of their protectors. Sonny and Match began to recruit more and more people to work with them, and started branching out to protecting many businesses, usually Chem Houses, but also many gambling halls, whore houses, drug factorys and the like, as long as the owners payed the Samurai. Most other businesses protected by the Samurai, who's numbers now were in the range of 1000 to 2000, also began to take up the trend of themeing themselves off of many Japanese icons and culture, which soon the gang began to take up as well to match their businesses, wearing hatchimakis, sandals, kimonos, and carrying samurai swords.

As Sonny's new business venture increases in fame and money earned, his partner Match also discovered that there was much money to be made in hacking, especcially if the gang hired themselves out as hackers for hire. Soon, the Samurai were running a protection racket, but were also all learning their way around computers, and selling their talents to any who would hire them. This began to get the attention of many higher corporations, who began to hire Sonnys gang to hack rival corporations, protect them form other hackers, destroy incriminating data, and many others that could cause harm for the corporate climate. Soon, Sonny and Match had a falling out when Match started to get tired of the life they were living, and he went underground, leaving Sonny the sole leader of their now massive criminal empire.
Character's Role in the Plot: Sonny accidentally discovers a document concerning the Conspiracy when some of his gang start trying to hack into government files for shits and giggles. He, while not a good man, has enough honor to know that the situation that the virus will bring affects everyone, and that he needs to do what he can to try and help.

The plot has a few branches it appears.

Branch One is the "regular" branch. The main driving force of that is the Cold War between UNAS and Sino-Russian Federation. Most characters are operating either in that Cold War or somewhat related to it. The Grey Flood is something they don't know a lot about but want to know more about it. I have they will find out too late.

Branch Two is the "illuminatti" branch Ghondra just mentioned. He'd know more.

Originally it was a Cabal of Power, designed to centralize the Alien's treasure trove of Knowledge into a group of powerful individuals. However it soon became part Occult, people who worshiped the Alien's technologies and capability, and hailing themselves as a new species Homo Sapiens Novae. Basically Ubermensch, with everyone as Untermensch.

The difference between the Control and Cleanse faction as so wonderfully nicknamed by Lunas is that the Control is still the traditional Cabal, and the Cleanse is the Occult. They are this close to a schism.

Originally it was a Cabal of Power, designed to centralize the Alien's treasure trove of Knowledge into a group of powerful individuals. However it soon became part Occult, people who worshiped the Alien's technologies and capability, and hailing themselves as a new species Homo Sapiens Novae. Basically Ubermensch, with everyone as Untermensch.

The difference between the Control and Cleanse faction as so wonderfully nicknamed by Lunas is that the Control is still the traditional Cabal, and the Cleanse is the Occult. They are this close to a schism.

So what would you have in mind for the back story of an Illuminatus, specifically the guy I will be apping for?
