Henry Jekyll High, thought to be a school were supernatural beings could learn to disguise themselves and mingle in the world of humanity. In reality, this was a front. In truth it was meant to train the creatures in the art of disguise to prepare them for their true roles. Those of Hunter's, one half of an Absolute Duo.
Absolute Duo, an ideal state of mind. A state, where two beings have become so attuned to eachother that they border on mutual telepathy, a Duo is capable of anticipating eachother's moves with ease and is capable of perfect instinctual synchronization with eachother. The perfect team. Now that the creatures have moved on from Henry Jekyll High, they proceed to Kouryou Academy, home of The Peacekeepers, the organization dedicated to keeping the rambunctious creatures from causing destruction in the human world.
Here in this new Academy, pairs will be created between the Exceeds, humans who have abilities far beyond even the greatest of athletes, and Creatures, the monsters thought long extinct by the ignorant masses of mankind. These pairs will be pitted in combat against eachother as they struggle to achieve Absolute Duo and learn what it means to become a Peacekeeper

Hello one and all! You may remember me from the Henry Jekyll High RP that seemed to catch fire for quite some time before ending. Well, as I briefly discussed in that thread, here is the next evolution. Players from that thread are free to import their old characters at no penalty as well as decide what has happened for them in the year since graduating Henry High. I hope to see this catch on as that RP did!

Why must there be an image size limit
Koryou Academy is a special school constructed by the PeaceKeepers as a training area. The academy itself is only accessible by hanging monorail to an island off the coast of The United States. The Academy itself is built in a Gothic or Victorian era style. The Academy features all the proper training amenities, including classrooms, arena's weight rooms, and anything else that could be used to increase ones skill. One notable feature is the incredibly tall clock-tower in the center of the island. Besides the training facilities, the academy also possess a host of well kept gardens holding a variety of flowers, as well several Olympic size pools for when student's are on their free time.

As a note. Since this RP will be much more combat focused, I will be quite stringent on what abilities I allow people to have. So before you submit an app, ask yourself if someone could abuse one of your characters abilities, if the answer is yes, its probably OP and will be either outright rejected or nerfed by me.

Abilities:

• Wall Climbing - Even in human form, Mari's tendons still contain thousands of tiny hairs invisible to the eye that allow her to move not only up walls, but upside down on ceilings.
• Bite - With sharp fangs filled with venom, in her spider form bites can cause temporary paralysis. In human form, Mari's teeth are sligthly sharper and draw blood with greater ease.
• Web - Being a spider enables Mari to envelope her prey in webbing as well as blocking entire areas with her string.
• Poison - The poison running through Mari is capable of temporary paralysis and great pain, but not death. Usually administered via a bite, though her poison can be drained from her teeth for external use.

Weaknesses:

• Legs - The joints connecting Mari's legs in both forms are weaker and easily her weakest point. In spider form, her this joints mean her legs are easily removed.
• Water - Wet surfaces and the presence of water severely inhibits Mari's balance, ability to wall climb, maneuverability. Due to her lack of balance, she has a tendency to move slower.
• Fire - Mari has an intense fear of fire and large fires can paralyse her in fear. She avoids fire everywhere she can, even matches, and is extremely sensitive to burns.
• Poor Leader - Mari is very adept and following orders, but when it comes to giving them she does not know what to do. Her desire to make everyone happy make hard decisions all the harder, as well as role assignment. Her timid nature makes a poor discipline figure also.

Bio:

Born in the city of Pamplona, Mari has always hid herself from society in genral, both creature and humans alike. For the most part in her human form she gets by being ignored by the world, but in her true form, she is shunned as a monster. Reclusive, she's spent nearly all her life in Spain. Taught English at a young age by her parents, they abandoned her at 10 as is their way. Being alone in the world allowed Mari to pursue her own interests, most prominently music. By scraping together what money she could, she learned to play guitar and keyboard, and use her natural singing talent. Above all, Mari just wants to be accepted by humans and monsters alike. She arrived at HJH friendless, parentless, and full of hope...

While at HJH, Mari found herself noticed more than ever before, helping her become friends with some fellow monsters in disguise. Her trusting nature and weak will made her quickly fall for demon called Dominic. He made her feel safe, he made her feel wanted, and above all he made her feel accepted. However it was too good to last, and the break up left Mari less trusting than before. While still caring and affectionate, she found it increasingly difficult to tell if someone was worthy of her sweetness. While at HJH she focused on her musical passions, earning herself various distinctions.

Abilities: Demonic Strength and Speed, illusions, Demonic Fire, Limited Mental Influence.
Weaknesses: Starvation, anything holy, be it crosses, holy water or religious weapons, including things of a divine nature.
Bio( Doesn't need to be too long): Possessed by a sword which had gained its own soul after countless bloody battles. He wreaked havoc on ancient Italy and the rest of Europe, earning the name The Azure Knight. Eventually the Knight was defeated, and entered a slumber deep in a cave, where recently a cave in caused by a mining company released and awakened him once more. Severely weakened by centuries of starvation, and with his soul having merged with the sword's Dominic became a much more balanced individual, not prone to violence often. Normally docile for the most part, he becomes significantly more aggressive when he enters his Demon form. After the time he has spent awakened, he has fed and regained most of his previously lost power, as well as a rather mean sadistic streak.

Species: Lycanthropus Lupus (Werewolf)

Abilities:

• The Wolf: Because of his werewolfism, even when he is in his human form Daniel possesses greater strength and speed than humans as well as more attuned senses. These gifts are most pronounced during a full moon
• Transformation: Daniel can at will transform into one of five forms:
  • Human: Daniel’s normal human form.
  • Wolf-man: Similar to human form but with increased strength and speed. Daniel also takes on some animalistic traits, including increased body hair, increased canine-teeth size and claws.
  • Werewolf: The body takes on more animalistic characteristics, in particular the head. The overall shape of the body is still humanoid in form.
  • Great-wolf: Similar in size to the werewolf-form but fully wolflike in shape.
  • Wolf: Indistinguishable from a typical wolf.
• Rapid Healing: Daniel’s wounds will heal more rapidly depending on the phase of the moon. During a full moon a gunshot wound could heal in as little as two hours.

Weaknesses:

• Full Moon: Though his physical gifts are at their greatest during a full moon, Daniel’s self control is at its worst. Any impulse, be it rage, desire or joy, may take control of him.
• New Moon: In direct contrast to a full moon, during a new moon Daniel lacks all gifts of the wolf. Since his strength is typically buffed by his wolf traits, during this time he is weaker than a normal human. He also becomes extremely lethargic and finds it difficult to stay awake, let alone focus on a task.
• Silver: The presence of silver in a wound prevents Daniel’s body from healing, and Daniel will become extremely ill if it enters the bloodstream.

Bio:

Daniel was raised primarily his mother, aunt and uncle (father’s brother). Daniel’s father was killed while in wolf form by a farmer, resulting in the family picking up and moving. While raising Daniel had been a collective effort by all three of his parental figures, each had a different opinion of how to raise him. His mother wished for him to suppress the wolf and blend into the crowd. His uncle believed he should embrace the wolf and eschew the human world. His aunt believed the path of the wolf and the path of the man are not divergent ones. Until he began attending Henry Jekyll High, Daniel has largely followed his mother’s wishes, though as he grew to maturity he found the pull of the wolf growing stronger. While at HJH, Daniel found himself constantly tested by his new surroundings, struggling to keep control when provoked. Constant exposure to humans and more sinister creatures helped him learn not just to control the wolf, but to use it.
