Posted: Mon Mar 21, 2016 5:39 pmThis RP is a reset of Modern war. You are allowed to select two countries that are likely to be allies and are near each other (Preferably, you are bordering it) and play as its leader, annexing other countries and the like.

Geneva Conventions, Outer Space Treaty, and Antarctic Treaty (this may expand) are canon.
INACTIVITY FOR TWO WEEKS IN THE IC REMOVES YOU FROM THE GAME, YOUR LANDS ARE SUBJECT TO INVASION. HOWEVER, AT THIS STAGE YOU CAN GET YOUR NATION BACK, BUT LANDS CONQUERED WILL STAY CONQUERED. AT A MONTH, YOUR NATION WILL NOT BE RESTORED AND YOU MUST START OVER.

ANNEXATIONS
Annexations have been changed from the original forum, you could launch unrealistic annexations. This is how it will be done:
Peaceful Annexations: You have to hold a conference with the country you are annexing and give realistic reasons why they should join you, it may fail depending on the significance of the country.
War Annexations: Send a realistic amount of troops, may fail depending on the significance of the country. I (Atrilan) will adjust and compare statistics, to see if you would win. You don't take the whole country, you have to take provinces. Just google the provinces of the country you are trying to invade, you can take several provinces at once for weak countries. TAKING THE CAPITAL DOESN'T MEAN YOU'VE TAKEN THE COUNTRY. You have to take most of the economically or territoriality significant parts of the country you are fighting for them to surrender. Or you could just take provinces that are essential to their economy and watch them burn. MUAHAHAHA.
Annexations shouldn't be unrealistic, this will be judged by your peers.
Please keep these realistic for the time period.

* No unjustified war - annexing or not (For annexations, this only goes for Democracies or Republics)
* No OOC in the IC chat
* No unrealistic invasions
* Keep use of WMDs (Weapons of Mass Destruction) to a minimum
* NO GODMOD
* No apocolyptic weaponry (ex. antimatter)
* Put graphical content (trees blowing) in your posts.
* You are allowed to void unrealistic posts or ones that break rules, not ones you don't like.
* You can't PEACEFULLY annex a country that belongs to someone else unless you both agree.
* You can't annex countries without a break.
* No stealing another nation's technology without you occupying their core nation and/or all of their other countries.
* Let war build up before it breaks out.
* If you are quoting someone, only quote the part that you are commenting on.
* No halting the expanse of other unions into neutral territory.
* State your war goal in a declaration of war.
* All other common sense rules.
