What if the Dardanelles Campaign had been successful?

Image

Summary

The Allied Troops that arrive in Gallipoli to face the Ottoman Turks manage to land in the correct locations, and their enemies are stunned by the British Naval forces who avoid Turk minefields. Now, the campaign can truly be won by either side, with a 4 mile beachhead established and minimal Allied casualties. The British now seek to press their offensive and drive into Ottoman territory, while the Turks desperately deploy their armies to match this advancing Allied force.

200,000 men move north, fortifying the north. Austrian positions are bombed from artillery. Planes are sent (4 french planes) to obeserve the battle field, giving them the advantage. The army is ordered to fire on alk Austrians but to conserve ammo.

Bulgaria
The remainder of the troops invade Bulgaria, working a small trench system in their part of macedonia. They request greek support.

Badajoz, Extremadura

Today, the factory, like many others all over poor, southern, spain, was starting to be built. The local authoroties had petitioned Madrid to help their industry grow, and they, seeing the benefits this could give to the struggling spanish economy, accepted. Small towns were promised to become wealthy, industrial cities, and have the burden of poverty taken off of them.
Frantically, worker's swarmed over the construction sites, which became the talk of whatever towns industry arrived at, and in some cases, complaints.

(OOC: Russia controls Poland, and I found on many websites that the Tsar and Duma wanted Peace and to improve their country they even tryed to)

Warsaw, Russian Empire

A Year after some of the bloodiest battles on the Russian front, The Russian Duma had decided to at least try to improve odds on the issue of Russian Industry, the Duma had voted on allowing over 500 Factories built all over the empire, allowing, Rifles, Tanks, and airplanes to be built, the Russian Garrison had also been upgraded from the local 4,000 to 13,000 men, in fear of German or Austro-Hungarian Armies attacking the city.

Moscow, Russian Empire

The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Dmitrievich Sazonov sat in his office in the Foreign Ministry, he had gotten a call from the Tsar himself to ask for a personal favor, he had stated that he wanted to have a cease fire with Germany and Austria-Hungry, thus, allowing Russia to improve itself and even successfully industrialize if possible, and said that he knew Russia could possibly have civil war, he wanted this treaty so then he could stop it before it started and try to help the Citizens, he started to write the Letter, hoping the Germans and Austria-Hungry would accept.

"Grand Friends, we wish to let you know that, due to The Poor State of our (The Russians) Empire, the Tsar and Duma have been pushing for quicky cease-fire across the empire, we request that a four month cease-fire be started at the quickest moment, we also wish to try to I,prove relations, even possibly peace if wanted, if peace was started before our three great empires, this would obviously free many divisions of yours, thus allowing you to send them to your western front, but if peace is not accepted, the Russian Armies of his Majesty, Tsar Nicholas II will come over you and help its western allies, France and Great Britain."

The German Empire

Heil the Kaiserreich

It was a good day to be the Kaiser.

Kaiser Wilhelm had received word of a Russian overture for a cease-fire. Knowing, wisely, that dividing his forces on two, possibly three if the Turks are overrun, fronts would divide his forces exponentially. He held no ill will towards Russia, knew he would not be able to penetrate the Russian Winter, and had no want to own Russia. As such, he dispatched his Foreign Minister, Gottlieb von Jagow, to Moscow to meet with the Russians and accept this ceasefire. Immediately afterwards, he dispatched orders to the 6th and 9th Armies to get to trains and come to the Western front. Landwehr forces were left in Eastern Prussia as a safety valve incase negotiations with the Russians went sour. The Kaiser then attended the General Staff Meeting.

Immedieately, Paul Hindenburg spoke up.

''Kaiser, if we are to win this war quickly and efficiently, we must put to use all weapons no matter how heinous, in our hands, and on the battlefield.'' The Kaiser then said ''and what weapons are those?''. Hindenburg replied, ''My Kaiser, we have stockpiles of chlorine gas awaiting use, U-boats in Austrian Ports awaiting orders, and two full un-depleted Armies ready for deployment on the Western Front. What are we to do with them?''

''Have all U-Boats that are within range, go to the Dardanelles. Inform them they are to sink every single Allied military ship in the Dardanelles, however not to touch civillian ships. I don't want any accidents. The 6th and 9th armies are to be deployed at Mons. Then they are to penetrate the French Border north of the Ardennes forest and make haste to Saint-Quenin. Our other armies fighting in Belgium are to hold defensive positions, building up barbed wire and machine gun defenses on the Trenches. Once the 6th and 9th armies reach Saint Quenin, the French will no doubt take forces from the front lines to dispatch these armies. That will be our time to strike. Our artillery will shower the French in gas, and then we shall send in the Trench Clearing forces and move up until we reach Calais. At that point, we will stop our offensive for the Winter and build up new defences.''

''It will be done, my Kaiser.''

LETTER TO RUSSIA

We accept your offer. Herr Pazlow is heading to Moscow to talk terms.

Best Regards,

Foreign Minister, Kaiser Wilhelm II

Message from the desk of Raymond Poincare
Image

To the attention of the Tsar of the Russian Autocracy,

We have heard from our spies within Germany that you are considering signing an armistice with the Kaiser. We wish to remind you of the binding pact signed between our states: the Franco-Russian Alliance. It is still in effect, and we remind you that it was what pulled France into the war to help you against Germany. The current Gallipoli Campaign carried out by the British Empire is purely in an attempt to keep Russia supplied throughout this war, and weaken the Ottoman Turks. If you negotiate with the Central Powers now, how will you look to your people, especially after all your efforts in 1914 were aimed at uniting the Russian social classes against the common enemy of the German Empire? Your own wife is of German heritage, and think of how the Proletariat already whisper about the control Rasputin has over the Autocracy. This will only prove them right, and serve to destabilize your reign.

Should you betray this alliance, Great Britain and France will surely remember it, and we have long memories. Japan, as Britain's ally, will menace your Asian front, and I'm sure you remember well the disaster of the Battle of Tsushima. Think wisely, as perhaps the Proletariat and Peasantry may be more willing to side with us in a new government if they learn their Tsar is a collaborator unable to match the will of a German.

If you attack the Germans now, as they are distracted on the Western Front and by your negotiations, you may be able to force them to the negotiating table in a way that suits all of us, rather than risk losing Poland in the sham treaty the Germans will likely offer. They have already pulled two armies away from East Prussia, leaving only the Landwehr.

Regards,

President Poincare of the Third French Republic

Message from the desk of Raymond Poincare

To the attention of the British Government,

The situation grows even more dire. We urgently request more British troops be deployed to Belgium to support the forces in place there, while our French armies attack German lines at Artois and Ypres. We advise caution, as the German have already proven during this Second Battle of Ypres that they are more than willing to use poison gas. We request permission to command your 6 divisions at Ypres in addition to our own 2, so that we can establish a better chain of command in the local district.

Regards,

President Poincare of the Third French Republic

St. Julien and Bellewaarde

By order of Henri Putz, the commander of the Army Detachment in Belgium, French machine-gunners were deployed to the two besieged villages to help aid the Canadian and British troops' defence of the village. Anti-gas procedures are very primitive, with pads soaked with Urine providing one of the most effective counters, causing the French to prioritize gasmask production. As the German artillery fire fell upon the Allied defenses, French batteries began to counter-attack 1 mile to the East. 2,000 men bayonet-charged the confused German forces in the nearby woods, with 18 Nieuport 10 aircraft gaining valuable reconnaissance by taking the opportunity to fly over the enemy lines during the chaos. Although there are heavy casualties for the Entente, the defenses appear to have held despite the German gas attacks.

Moscow, Russian Empire

The Tsar, eating with his family in their grand dinning hall, were on the sudject of the most recent letter from the French President, Tsar Nicholas's Son, Tsarevich Alexei said "Papa, we must invade East Prussia, they have left great weakness and we can" Tsar Nicholas II looked at his son, we was just a boy, how could he know better, he sighed and said "My Son, the Front right now is very stable, and if the Frnech had read better, they would know that it is merely a cease fire, that is temporary, not a blasted peace signing" he sighed again, he hated the French, the Japanese as well, he wished that his forces had taken over Korea, instead of being beaten back by some savage with guns. He got up, ignored his wife saying him to come over and walked out the door, the Minister of State ran up to him and bowed and said "Your Majesty, the Lower Class have started a revolt in St. Petersburg, do you wish for me to tell the Minister of Defense to send in Riot Soldiers?" The Tsar, was caught off guard by this, he then said "Yes please, but no lethal force, we can't afford to make us look bad" the Mimister of State nodded and ran off.

St. Petersburg

"The Working Party is the People, we the People, demand Democratic Rights to us, we are the Foundation and all the Organs of this empire, if we stop working, this empire will die, this is your warning Tsar Nicholas II! Give us Rights!" Shouted a man on a stage Infront of the Mayors Office, People cheering and clapping, just then, two Regiments appeared with wooden riot batons, they charged and forced people off, within 20 minutes, the rioters were gone, and with no reported deaths.

Duma Palace, Moscow

The Prime Minister walked up to his area on the big stage in front of all the politicians in Russia, he coughed two times to signal for them to stop talking, he began by saying "God bless us" the Crowd Of politicians said "God bless us" The Prime Minister smiled and said "My Friends, His Majesty, Tsar Nicholas II has betrayed us and the Allies, he has signed a four month cease fire agreement with the German and Austro-Hungarian Empires, without our Approval, this is the last straw, I ask you, men of Russia, we must stop our leader from ruling us like a tyrant, we must vote, now, on if the Tsar's power should be removed and be a Constitutional One!" the Men clapped and shouted for change, the Prime Minister smiled and said "Let us have it to vote, all for the Tsar to be constitutional say Yes, all against, say No"

Vote: 450 Men
Yes: 350
No: 100

Outside of Duma Palace

Crowds cheered and blessed the Duma for their saving of them, The Prime Mimister stepped up and said "Men and Women, of the Russian Empire, we have made a Grand Victory over the Corrupt Nobles and Tsar, but, we will have the Tsar still, only as a Constitutional Monarchy, based off of our great ally, the United Kingdom!" Just then, a limo pulled up and the Tsar stepped out, he seemed happy, he walked up and said "My Fellow Russians, I bless this Constitutional Way towards a Greater Russia, God has allowed this, Men and Women, we must give you your rights, and better living conditions, I have asked that working orders be lowed from the current 12 to 7 hours" the crowd cheered, the tsar started again, "We will industrialize, and with that, better living!" The crowds went crazy and sang the anthem, The Tsar shaked hands with the Prime Minister and went back into his car and drove away.

Beijing, China

President Yuan Shikai sat at his desk, a map spread out on it. He had scribbles along the map showing where warlords were stationed, and where they controlled within his country. He was as president tasked with removing the threat of warlords on the people, and establishing a unified china under the Republic's banner. With this he knew he couldn't do alone, knowing that he would have to ask for international intervention and only knowing 2 ways to get such. If he joined the British in the war across the world in Asia, he could ask the British for weaponry which they might supply allowing them to mass produce inside their territory to push out the Warlords, or asking the french. The Chinese people though would be unhappy with the decision to join the westerners as they had just 14 years ago attacked the Qing dynasty causing the collapse of the government and allowing the warlords to go about. He was stuck in between a rock in a hard place, if he tried to get war action it would blow up in his face. He continued looking at the map, thinking of where to attack first. Knowing several places he wanted before others, such as areas around the major coastal cities...

Shanghai, China

General Yen Longwei looked out across his brigade of 50,000 infantry, 9,000 Calvary, and 30,000 Artillery knowing he had one of the largest brigades under his disposal. Though he would be playing a risk card going against the largest warlord in the Republic of China, having amassed a large number of Chinese men into their military through raiding nearby towns, and cities to Shanghai. As the attack loomed upon Shanghai, defenses were increases along the outskirts of the city to make sure he wouldn't get in easily. Barbed wire was laid upon streets, and blockades were nearby. They had soldiers hidden within homes, and other areas close to the borders of the city. They believed that a force of almost 70,000 Chinese raiders were going to arrive any minute in the city, and they were correct. Before they were all ready for the attack, the raiders came on horses many of which got caught in the barbed wire sending the riders flying. Many of the Calvary of the army were far back waiting for any stragglers heading towards the city. The artillery began to blast off shells towards the raiders, making horses of them scatter, riders falling off. The infantry as well firing off towards them, filling out into the streets. The attack was a massacre, leaving only 3,000 Chinese military dead, but a 45,000 raiders dead, many of which were caused by them falling off the horses trying to flee. This was a decisive victory for the military, making General Len Longwei proud...

София, България
Sofia, Bulgaria

Tsar Ferdinand I of Bulgaria! The announcer declared his name to the roaring crowds on the streets below. Stood atop the balcony. Ferdinand looked as though he had truly earned his place above all other Bulgarians. It had been a hard fought struggle to recover from the Balkan Wars, but it seemed Bulgaria might finally do it. Now with access to ports on the Aegean Sea as well as the Black Sea, Bulgaria's geographic location was important as ever. "My people, while we have remained adamantly neutral, it appears as though the Serbs dare to attack us."

The crowd broke into whispers, rumours already spreading. "Without any declaration of war too! If we were to simply stand idle and accept this, this... gross impertinence, then how are we truly Bulgarian! How can we say we are proud to be Bulgarian? How?" The audience nodded, applauded and cheered for their Tsar. "So it is with a heavy heart, I shall start this war the right way. With a declaration. I understand what you may be thing, and what if Russia, Britain, France wish to come defend their fool of an ally? I say let them! Death to the Serbs! Long live Bulgaria!"

Image

To the most ignorant and petty King Pedro I of Serbia,

You're attack on a neutral state in nothing but unwarranted and open hostility is nothing short of laughable. It seems as though you have forgotten your formalities, but being pedantic I shall fix your error. Only the minor one I assure, your attacks are unfixable now. So in the name of I, Tsar Ferdinand I of Bulgaria, formally and forthwith DECLARE WAR ON THE KINGDOM OF SERBIA. May you rot from within, and your allies see you for the snake you are, dragging thousands of men to war because of your inability to understand the functions of the civilised world.

Sincerely,
Tsar Ferdinand I of Bulgaria

To the most honourable and just Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany, Franz Joseph I of Austria-Hungary,

With the most recent development of Serbian insolence, Bulgaria wishes to officially declare it's support for the Central Powers. To do so, we will allow free passage of any military personnel and supplies from Germany, Austria-Hungary and any allies (such as the Ottoman Turks) through our sovereign soil. We are also committing our forces, not just until Serbia surrenders, but until every member of the Entente falls to us.

Sincerely
Tsar Ferdinand I of Bulgaria

We are most pleased that we can find such high support for our goals of
defeating the Entente. Although we are in a bit of a situation right now
being hit by the Russians as we are and I fear it will take a some time as this so called
cease fire the Russians desire will not last long. If the cease-fire occurs, we can send aid
if you require it. We would not be able to send much as our intelligence has picked up reports
That Italy may enter the war on the Allied side, which will prove most problematic for our alliance.

Belgrade, Serbia
As reports came in that Serbian troops advanced into Bulgarian borders on miscommunicated orders, Serbia realised they are spread quite unfairly. Knowing support from the Entente will not arrive in time, they allowed women into the army and lowered the age to 14. They were armed crudely, but were patriotic in their endeavours. A force to be reckoned with, 300,000 more men trained quickly and was sent to defend Serbia. A additional 1,000 artillery guns were being manufactured for them.
Mister Ferdinand l,

If you are speaking of the offense in Bulgarian land, that operation was a contingency plan that was commenced due to error of miscomunication. I understand your deep anger, but request you withdrawal in the name for yourself, your people, and for the sake of us each.
I aswell understand your claims in Serbian Macedonia, and due to that you are probably considering pursuing the war. Please cihwidconsider the mass destruction this could result in.
Thank you.

Sofia, Bulgaria

"Miscommunication! He would have us surrender before we even do battle!" The Tsar threw yet another chair against the wall, veins in his neck looking as if they could explode even worse than his temper. His eldest son Boris sat on the only chair still intact, counselling patience with his thoughts seemingly ignored. "This miserable excuse of a king thinks he can just laugh at the Bulgarian blood he has spilled, IN BULGARIAN LAND, and expect us to withdraw! I say nay!"

"Father," Boris sighed and finally drew his attention. "We could use this. Demand the withdrawal of Serbian troops, then militarise our border. When they're gone, do as you please. You are Tsar after all." Boris took on a smug grin. "Sure their may be a few upset if they see this as an acceptance, but they can always be won over again with some decisive action. With our allegiance to the Central Powers, and The Ottomans at our backs, we have nothing to fear. While we can not defeat them in open battle, trench our borders and wait for reinforcement."

Ferdinand seemed to cool down a little. "We already have that dotard, Franz Joseph's support, albeit a little far at the moment. I do soon expect Wilhelm's reply, vile as he is, and begrudgingly hope to ally our old enemy the Otto-turks. Our line dates back to Austria and the then independent German states alike Boris, while there rulers are fools at least their states are strong. Let us forge the new Byzantium, let us start here. Write to the Serbs and send my demands. Serbians, they assassinate princes and invade neutral states and yet they still have allies. Ridiculous!"

Image

To the blithering pox of the Balkans that fashions themselves as, King Peter I of Serbia,

I, the Tsar of the Bulgaria Ferdinand I, demand the immediate withdrawal of any Serbian military personell, some form of compensation for the bereaved Bulgarian families that you have mindlessly slaughtered, and an international admittance to the world that you attacked a neutral state. These are my demands, meet them or war it will be.

Sincerely,
Tsar Ferdinand I of Bulgaria

Belgrade, Serbia

The king hoffed a letter sent from Bulgaria.

You must have recieved falsefied reports, for I have personally saw no harm done to Bulgarian lands except occupation of your border. I believe from my reports that a total of 12,000 Bulgarian Soldiers were killed. We will pay for a proper funeral and compensate the families. This deal will proceed after the war, and if you remain neutral during it, we will also pay for the damages done.

The German Empire

Image
Heil the Kaiserreich

It was time.

The 6th and 9th armies had arrived at Mons, and the Armies in Belgium had done their terrible work. Miles and miles of thick barbed wire were infront of the trenches, while pillboxes of machine guns trained fire on any Tommy who dared to go over the trenches into no man's land. The front looked much like a haze of barbed wire, atleast that's what any Tommy would say.

The 6th and 9th armies were consolidated into the 6th Army, and made their way through the French Border and started towards Saint Quenin. The limited home defence forces almost universally gave up when they saw the mass of the German Army coming towards them. Meanwhile, on the Belgian Front, German Artillery shelled the living daylights out of the French Lines.

The Dardanelles

The 1st U-Boat squadron had reached the Dardanelles, and began their work. In the first two weeks of operations, 5 cargo ships attempting to resupply the ANZACS were sunk, and one combat ship, the HMS Canopus.

LETTERS

To Tsar Ferdinand I,

The Central Powers thanks you for your smart choice, and at the earliest possible time we will support you with arms and men.

Signed, Kaiser Wilhelm II

Ypres

Brigadier-general Philippe Pétain has been put in command of a French counteroffensive at Ypres. 4 French Divisions take part in addition to the 6 British divisions. 4 of the British groups are detailed to hold the lines while two of their divisions join with the French assault. The two British divisions are given the responsibility of defending the flanks of the advancing French force totaling 60,000 men. The way ahead of the troops is cleared of barbed wire by scouts and aided by a covering barrage of heavy artillery. Then, two cavalry brigades lead a diversionary attack to the Southeast, drawing enemy machine-gun fire away from the gradual advance of Allied troops. 5 French prototype armored cars were also deployed to great effect, however their operations were limited to areas spared from the artillery bombardment. The Germans have made a grave error in neglecting their Ypres offensive, and have thus allowed this attack. It is estimated that the German offensive prong will be encircled within hours.

Saint Quenin

Realizing the size of the German attack, General Charles Lanrezac has been restored to his position in command of the region due to his sucessful defence of the area in 1914. The attacks against the town by the XVIII corps met with heavy casualties and little success, but X and III corps on the right were rallied by the commander of I corps, Louis Franchet d'Esperey. Advances on the right appear successful, with the French troops merely repeating the same maneuver used during the battle from 1914. The Generals involved are some of the most brilliant in the French army, and the men know to trust their commanders: they'd taken this town once, they would take it again. Almost one quarter of French artillery along the front has been deployed to halt the Hun's advance, with other areas relying on air reconnaissance to warn of any other German offensives and trenches. French citizens have begun fortifying along the banks of the Somme River for the eventuality that the plan fails, although this is thought unlikely.

The Trenches
The Belgian Front

The French had rerouted thousands of artillery pieces and infantry to the assault on Saint Quenin, exactly as the Germans wanted them to do. Now, orders were dispatched across the Trench Line - Kampf für das Vaterland. The troops did as they were told.

Behind the trench line, all across the Belgian Countryside, furious artillery attacks opened. The earth vomited flame as German Artillery bombarded ammo boxes in the trenches, rest pillets, medical tents, and then the trenches themselves. After the explosions had finally ended, another artillery attack ensued. This one much worse. Artilley all across the front shelled the trenches in chlorine gas. Now, the Tommies truly knew how hard the Germans were to fight this war. This would be no gentlemanly affair, to be ended in a polite conference.

The Fatherland will never fall, and neither shall the Kaiserreich!

Five minutes after the gas attack, troops all across the front charged across No-Man's Land to the Tommy trenches. Riflemen armed with bayonets and grenades charged into the trenches, all the while snipers in the German Trenches sniped out officers - decked out, quite helpfully, in decorated uniforms. They were easy targets.

Throughout the front, many miles of trenchline were gained in one day.

The German Army termed the front-wide battle ''The Battle of Belgium''

The City
Saint-Quenin

As reported by the German Army, the French were fooled. They had put in transit a full quarter of their artillery for one town! Once the Belgian offensive began, the 9th Army immedieately made headway out back to the Ardennes Forest, while the 6th held the town. Once the 9th had completed that action, the 6th Army retreated out of Saint Quentin back to the Ardennes Forest as well. They then set to fortifying the opening with trenches, machine gun nests and barbed while, all the while their artillery they left when crossing into the French Border was returned to them, setting up for the inevitable counterattack.

Saint Quentin

Three of the four corps remain near full-strength, and dig in both within and around the town rather than pursue the fleeing Germans. Having moved such a great volume of artillery from other parts of the front, the French gunners, outnumbering their foes by a large margin, open fire upon the enemy batteries from afar. The short range artillery is entrenched within the town, making it a fortress. Remaining civilians are given the choice of helping dig trenches, or flee behind French lines to safety across the Somme.

Ypres

Pétain had finished making his report to the French General's Staff, and enjoyed some fine wine with his staff. 7 entire German divisions had been encircled, their supply lines cut, and were being pounded into oblivion. Tens of thousands had perished. It was simply unbelievable that the Huns had suddenly abandoned the Ypres offensive, and allowed their men to be overwhelmed. Pétain would soon be promoted, and began plans to push towards Brussels with a force of over 90,000 men. Several artillery units deemed to slow to keep up with the planned advance are transferred to other parts of the front to help hold the French lines. Belgian militias are secretly told to prepare for an uprising: the Battle of Belgium is still in it's early days.

The rest of the Belgian Front

With the German use of Chlorine, the French generals decide to reply in kind: French long-range artillery begins to fire gas canisters upon the German supply lines, where it is expected anti-gas protection would be less than that of the troops who would be advancing through it. At the same time, landmines are established along the French lines as 114,000 colonial troops are brought in from French West Africa to increase the number of allied defenders. Charging German troops make excellent cannon-fodder for the French machine-gunners, many of whom survive the German bombardment due to the deep french trenches. With the Hun gunners focused on the French ground defenses, several French aircraft take the opportunity to make strafing runs at higher altitudes.

София, България
Sofia, Bulgaria

"My Tsar, another Serbian insult!"

Ferdinand and Boris both sighed in frustration as the War Minister read the letter aloud. "After the war... AFTER THE WAR! The people need payment now, and I have denied it them for too long. Rally the men, rally the men, train the reserves!" Ferdinand yelled to the now panicking minister as he ran off with the order.

"What if the Serbs think we're coming for them father? They simply change their orders and march of Sofia, that's what!" Boris folded his arms being the cynic he was.

"Then we say we are raising our arms to defend from any further unwarranted attacks. The letter didn't even mention removing troops from Bulgaria, so we'll force them out if need be. Send no reply, leave them in the dark. Let those bastards Serbians collapse before the end of the war!" So the men were raised, soldiers across Bulgaria reported to their local barracks to be assigned a regiment and sent to the border or the capital Sofia itself.

Bulgarian Border
Men retreated back to trenches, wishing to defend Serbia from any Bulgarian Scum that shows its ugly head with ill temper.

Austrian Trenches
Soldiers, supported by artillery and MG fire, overwhelm the Austrian weakened defense, causing a raise in Morale and support for the war. They were to do the following: Infiltrate Austrian Trenches, Scavenge Ammunition, Push Austrians out. They lost a total of 25,000 Men. They pushed down the trench system, slaughtering the Austrians.
