We are the Coalition of Diplomatic Governments, a Dark Space faction devoted to peace and order throughout the galaxy.
Description:
The only thing we desire in the galaxy is peace. We have watched the galaxy for many years in dismay as one bloody war after another was waged. The C.D.G hopes to avoid conflict and act as mediators between rival nations to preserve peace in the galaxy.
However, we also realize that some nations sadly reject the notion of peace. If the C.D.G is attacked, a all-volunteer Peacekeeper force will be kept to defend the member nations of the C.D.G and NOT be used for any offensive purposes.
The C.D.G is run by a Grand Council represented by the leaders of our member nations. The Council meets to vote on peacekeeping actions, diplomatic affairs, and the election of the Secretary-General. The Secretary-General is elected by popular vote by member nation leaders. His/Her purpose is to head the Coalition, break tiebreakers in votes, and act as Commander-in-Chief of the Peacekeeping Forces should they ever be mobilized.
There are no member taxes and member nations VOLUNTARILY donate troops and armaments to the Peacekeeping Forces.
