In the year 2016, North Korea finally invades South Korea, prompting the USA to step in and try to repel them. This requires them to divert troops from the Middle East, which causes Iran, Egypt, and Syria to once again invade Israel, aided by Palestinian Rebels. Russia has pushed further into Ukraine, trying to annex the whole nation, prompting immediate action from a NATO Task Force of France, Britain, Belgium, Germany, and Canada to stop them. Russia declares war on all nations of NATO, as does North Korea, Syria, Iran, Egypt, and China. Russia annexes Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and Armenia. North Korea and China launch a massive strike against South Korean, American, Australian, and New Zealander forces. Russia launches an assault on Ukraine to attempt and finish it's annexation.

We rolled down E40 to Kiev, to take it back from the Russians. We came to Makariv, when all of the sudden our platoon came under fire from a nearby store. We closed our hatches and my vehicle opened fire on the building, leveling it. We then found ourselves being shot at from all directions, so we called in an airstrike on the town and pulled out. After the town was more or less leveled, infantry moves in to clear the rest, while we moved with the main column to Kiev.

We arrived on the frontlines, and were immediately greeted by explosions, gunfire, and mortar shells. Pulling into the main camp, I dismounted and met with the commander inside. We talked strategy and he placed our unit on the western area of the city, where a unit of infamtry was pinned by some BMPs. We mounted up and headed out for the area, where the fighting was extremely intense. We quickly took care of three BMPs, but not before one of our vehicles was lost, with all of it's crew. That was a very sad moment for our unit, and it has been silent among us at the camp tonight.

We should have known it. We should have all known it.
The damn Eastern Coalition finally put their plan into action, North Korea attacking the Asian lands, Russia attacking the European lands, and a few others attacking the Middle East. It's our jobs to stop them.

Anyway, enough rambling. Men, we've been instructed that our dearest neighbors of Poland has been taken by the Russians. As the good people of Germany that we are, we're going to help them out by suppressing the Reds with our tank fire, and eventually run the Reds out of Poland. Step after that is to head north, first into Lithuania, then Estonia, and Latvia. The Americans have already made an attack on the capital of Ukraine. Last step is to make a full on invasion of Western Russia, effectively bulldozing over the most powerful member of the Eastern Coalition. That is the first step to Freedom. We haven't received orders beyond that point.

Now, we will make a stand against one of the most powerful groups that has ever graced the Earth with it's presents, a group hellbent on oppression and communism, on Islamic terrorism, and destruction of the Motherland and her allies. Men, we will not allow this to happen, whether it costs us our damn lives or not. We will stop these menaces before they can destroy our homes, our families, our way of life itself, dammit. Today, we shall chip into the Eastern Coalition until it breaks in half! Who's with me?!
*The cheering and yells of soldiers inside their tanks can be heard."
Well then, I, Friedrich Jaegermann, leader of the 21st Sturm-Panzerdivision, order you to move out!

The tanks then begin moving together.

November 5th, 2016

The 21st Sturm-Panzerdivision made it's way to the east of German, intent on crossing the border into Poland, in order to liberate it from the Russians.

We made our long journey across the borders into the Western area of Poland, where we encountered a small village, already visibly taken by the Russians in the night. We rendezvoused with a small squad of infantry before moving in. The infantry made it's way in stealthily in the cover of darkness, able to take out any hostile personnel near the communications center. We then went loud, where our help was needed. We fired from the top of a hill, giving us an advantage over our enemy. We took some fire, but made it out fine. As we thought we had fully taken the village, a truck full of reinforcements were spotted coming down the road. Before they could make it to the town, our squad made quick work of the truck with our tank fire. The village was finally secured, with minor casualties. We then setup camp their for now.

Lt. James P. Morris swore as he hit his head once again in the cramped confines of his FV511 Warrior Command Vehicle. Next to him his second in command, a Sergeant Guy Harris, chuckled "Nice one Lieutenant". Morris rubbed his head "Damn Ukrainian Roads, they've had how many years to repair the craters from the last world war?"
"Almost 71 sir" the old Sergeant responded, putting away the map he'd been looking at "We'll be coming across the Ambush Site in two minutes sir. I'll radio the troops" he put his hand up to his ear and keyed is mic "This is your Sergeant speaking. Lock and load men, we'll be hitting them momentarily. For the Queen!" the resounding chorus from the platoon was deafening inside their cramped APCs and IFVs.

A moment later, they pulled up to the site. A day earlier a drone had spotted a Russian convoy headed down the road, meaning they most likely would be going down the road again today or tomorrow. The Command Vehicle took position in an abandoned farm west down the road, while the Strykers and Bulldogs took position in the forest overlooking the road. 'At the side of the road was a steep incline that lead to a lightly wooded area on each side, perfect for ambushes. The men hopped from their rides and took position next to the vehicles. 4 Heavy Machine Guns were set up, two on each side, while the men readied their XM8 rifles. They waited, and waited, for the Russian convoy that was supposed to come through soon.

As the rain beat down on the poor Ukrainian sustenance-farming town, the Commander thought back on the past few days. All he could remember was war, war, war. Terrible war. Bombs fell from the sky like dead birds. Machine gun fire came as regularly as rain. Men and women, innocents and soldiers, adults and children fell left and right. The tempest was turning the ground outside of the extra large Commanding Tent into a muddy soup. It was so hard, Jack could hardly hear himself think .The abandoned farming town was scarred with shells and pockmarked with craters from the fighting. As his thoughts continued to wander and he sipped his steaming cup of Earl Grey tea- which he had gone through hell to get added to his squad's rations- he hear something. Faint at first, but then louder. It was a light, shrill whine. A siren? No... plane engines. Judging from the volume, about thirty seconds off. The Commander stepped outside of his tent to see if this was another delivery. He tried to squint through the vicious downpour, glad his poncho was keeping his clothes from getting soaked. Despite his efforts to see through the assault of rain, he couldn't make it out. All that changed as the first plane swooped in with a roar, just fifty feet above his head and a hundred to the right. Emblazoned on its wing was the Russian flag. Out from its bomb doors fell several high-explosive bombs, landing on the muddy ground with a 'thud' and doing nothing other than baking the surrounding mud into a ceramic-like substance.
"We're under attack!!!" He yelled, straining to be heard over the buckets of rain being emptied from the sky. One of the Privates- he couldn't tell which in the rain- dashed out of his tent and ran for the armory tent. He must be one of the rookies, thought Jackson. Any well-seasoned soldier knows a handheld machine gun can't do jack shit to a warplane. A second round of bombs came with a second and third plane, this one incinerating one of the sleeping tents. The broiling air rushing towards the Commander evaporated the rain on his skin, warming him considerably but also bringing with it the stench of charred flesh. The two soldiers in that tent were vaporized, no doubt about it. With a start, Jackson realized he was just standing there while his encampment was being bombarded. Seeing the curve the next plane was taking, He ran to the nearest sleeping tent and yanked the two men in it out just in time, managing to stumble backwards almost ten feet before a bomb hit the tent, its explosion flattening it and lifting the three men off their feet and tossing them backwards onto the ground with a very painful 'smack'. The Corporal next to him had a black sear mark running down his cheek. Too bad the delivery of medical supplies was delayed, probably for days, by this torrential downpour. The next bomb to fall hit just about twenty feet from the Commander's head. As the wall of flames rushed toward him in less than a second, his vision spiraled into blackness and he succumbed to a deep, forced sleep.

Somewhere in the Atlantic ocean, September 5th, 22:34 hours.

The platoon of lashed down M1A1s rock with the assault ship in the Atlantic waves.

"Alright men, listen up." Walker begins.

"As you know the war in Korea has been going for some time. Good old uncle Russia has seized this opportunity to annex Ukraine, which is where we're headed. We'll be in Ukraine in two days and in combat probably as soon as we get ashore. Chances are we'll be going up against T-90As, T-80UMs and T-14s, nothing you haven't trained for. Good luck to you all." Walker finishes as his men stand in silence.

No further resistance was put against the 21st or the other squad of infantry. The German troops had been able to sleep the previous day off peacefully, in a night of cold, dead silence, with the good news of the Americans aiding them from the south.

November 6th, 2016
And then a bullet was fired.
The sound broke the silence of the early morning, the early morning peace destroyed as if in sync with the swiftness of the destruction of the countries the Easterns had already taken. The bullet pierced a sleeping soldier through the chest as he slept, falling down with the only sound being a thud as he hit the ground. Everyone awoke immediately, taking cover as Lt. Jaegermann radioed in to the rest of the men present in the town:
"Sniper! Take Cover!"
The men residing in the tanks were completely safe, however feared for the lone, unprotected infantrymen that lay around them, in cover and scared. One of the men residing in the tanks did a risky move: He exited the tank, and ran. As he ran to cover, a splash of red flew through the air as he collapsed safely behind a building. He struggled to help himself up. He then yelled to the rest of the men, "On the water tower, to the northeast!" He then sunk to the ground, tired. The Aufstand aimed at the tower, and fired. The tank round pierced the top, making the tower lean to the side. The Vereist then shot at the top of one of the supports, making the tower collapse completely.

They rushed to the soldier who escaped the tank. He was alive, thankfully. They stayed for a few hours taking care of him. Luckily, the sniper was a bad shot, and didn't pierce any major organs. The wound looked worse than it actually was. The soldier decided he could continue, and retreated safely back into his tank. They then decided it was time to move on, to the north to execute the next step in the mission.

November 6th, 2016, Odesa, Ukraine.

The platoon arrived a day earlier than expected. We were given our orders as the ship was still entering the harbour. "Move north to Kiev at full speed and reinforce Allied units there." We did just that. In a few hours the unit was well on it's way, by that time more detailed orders had come through: Link-up with the 26th King's Own Royal Hussars, see if they want help, if not, continue north . We settled in for a long, bumpy journey through the driving rain.

Lieutenant James Walker, 4th Independent Marine Tank Platoon, USMC.

I got confirmation that the 4th Independent Marine Tank Platoon had arrived in Ukraine, and radioed for their support in taking Kiev. The enemy was suspected to have T-90s, which would punch rigjt through us, so we needed tank support if we were going to take the city. We formed a FOB in a shop to use as a Field Command until reinforcememts arrived.

00:45 Hours, November 7th, 2016, Just outside Kiev

I clambered down off the turret of my tank. The rain was torrential as i made my way towards the makeshift command post to chat with the officer i was meant to meet; a Belgian by the name of Lieutenant Pieter. I spotted about a platoon of Piranha IIIs so i knew i was in the right place.
