Division Six was established back in 1960 with the simple and laughable purpose of documenting supernatural phenomenon. Starting with only 6 people, almost within a year the government shutdown the program, after no progress. About a year later Division 6 was reestablished backed by a private investor, trust me in those days you could get away with anything and not have the government sticking its nose in it. Anyways now properly funding with 30 people in the Division and within six months capture a vampire. Although upon doing this they realize that their world was about to be alot bigger. The vampire in question was actually the "son" of one of the 7 Houses, families of vampires dating back to the original seven in ancient Surmeria. Revealing to the head of the operation about the existence of vampires and many others. Vampires, Werewolves, Shifters, Zombies, even Gods, are many of the few things behind the veil that few humans see.

That was 55 years ago, now while Division 6 is still operational, it doesn't exist. It has done well to keep away prying eyes of the government and the people. Much like what it investigates and captures it is consider a myth, much like Area 51 or Men in Black. Its primary directive is to protect humans and supernatural creatures alike. Some of you work for us, from all walks of life, others want to destroy the Division for their own gain, or simply were caught in the middle of things. Behind the Veil has been buzzing with activity for the past few months, something is coming, something bad that could threaten the entire both worlds if followed through...

Division Six HQ in NYC

The Division Six building has 7 floors above ground, and 10 below. It is protect with the most advance security, both mortal and magically it makes the White House look like an abandon building you could walk with a hole in the fence. Nobody without the proper clearance is allowed. Any human will simply forgot why they were turned away from the building the minute they step foot outside. The floors below has the greatest trove of artifacts and literature outside of respected magical groups.

The Division is headed by Director Silas, who is a recluse and usually hands out orders and assignments to his Deputy Director who in turn gives it down to the chain of command.

Heaven
Heaven is Heaven after all, God created and left the Archangels in charge. 3 are still in charge of the Host of Heaven, Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel. Not to say other Archangels don't exist, its just that the big 3 are absolute and the final word on any subject matter dealing with Heavenly matters. There is supposedly a gateway into Heaven from Earth but so far it is considered a myth.
Hell
Originally Hell was just a void, then Michael, not God, cast Lucifer and the Renegades into the void. Lucifer although banned from Heaven could go to the Mortal Realm and back with ease. He created the First Demon, Lilith, which eventually spawn most of the demonkind from her. Heaven found Michael and Raphael seal Lucifer and Lilith into the depths of Hell only to be release at the End of Days. Now Hell is ruled by a King or Queen the current ruler is Satan one of the last of Lucifer's original Rebellion. Several Gates to and from Hell exist, most are documented by D6 a few have yet to be found.
The Pantheon
The Pantheon, the Council of the Gods. Every God, with the Exception of God aka Yahweh is in this Council. Zeus, Odin, Shiva, Orisis, Shangdi, and Quetzalcoatl are the council heads. Infighting is commonplace, don't get them started on who came first.

The Covenant
The Covenant is the ruling body over witchcraft and witches. Any practicing witch or warlock, if you are really that insecure of the word witch...must stand before the Coven, and demonstate their ability. Once accepted they will be under watch, if they stray, usually through dark magic or using magic through violent spells and the like you will be cast out.
The 7 Houses
The 7 House are vampire 'families' that can trace their lineage back to the original 7 of Sumeria. The are considered pure-blood vampires, with majority of them living in Europe and the Middle East, and consider the American vamps a stain on their Houses.

Many myths and lore about Vampires are true such as their weakness to silver and sunlight, although sunlight make them weak, they do not burst into flames.Religious items and holy do not effect Vampires. Decapitation of the head from the body can also put down a Vampire.

Also known as a lycanthrope, werewolves turn into wolf like creatures, with a very tall stature and superhuman strength and senses, also can run very fast. Many werewolves believe that the earliest known werewolves were Romulus and Remus.The only possible way to become a werewolf is if you are bitten by one. They exist all over the world, and are as populace as Vampires. While most are able to handle their wild side, some cannot not and become feral, usually attacking anything or anyone in their sights. Like most supernatural creatures they have a weakness to silver.

The term both applies to men and women, very few male witches refer to themselves as warlocks in this day and age. There is are such thing as a good witch, given the nickname 'white witches' they tend to be somewhat weaker that usual witches. All witches draw upon an old force known as the Malleus Maleficarum which gives a witch their powers. Witches are not immortal but can extend their lives far beyond average life expectancy. The oldest known witch was about 700 years old before meeting their fate. Sometimes witches and warlocks makes deals with demons to enhance their powers.

Malevolent supernatural entities created by Lucifer. They are the embodiment of pure evil, and take joy in the torment of the human race while in Hell. Many humans meet demons through usually a deal, they try to make with one, although the humans may get what they want they seem to win in the end. Demons cannot exist in their true form on Earth, they usually take a human vessel, unlike angels by force. Usually the human inside experience what the demons do while in their bodies and have to live with the horrors of it if the demon has been exercise. While Demons do not have ranks like angels they do have a King or Queen of Hell, leader of all demons. Usually the eye color from when they possess human tell the kind of power they have, Red Eyed Demons are the weakest followed by Black, Yellow, White being the strongest. There are other unique demons with unique colored eyes.

Celestial beings created by God, to serve Him and Heaven. The Archangels were the first angels created sometime after the beginning of the universe. Any angels true form cannot be perceived by humans and most supernatural beings, as they are being of light and would burn their eyes out and possible kill them. Angels tend to stay in Heaven, staying out of mortal affairs, why people almost have never seen them. For angels to exist on Earth they need a vessel usually human consenting, or a recently deceased person's body.

Fallen Angels are angels who either were banished from Heaven, or who voluntarily left. Some may turn to evil but others simply want to be left alone, others may also return to Heaven.

Shifters, short for Shapeshifters, are able to change their appearance to any person living, dead, or fictional. Shifters are able to access a person's memories and thoughts through touch, making the an almost identical match to person they impersonate. Shifters have a weakness to silver, and one way to tell apart a Shifter is usually through video their eyes appear silver through video, but this can be avoiding if they were sunglasses.

Beings that use cunning and deceit as their weapons.They are able to bend reality to an extent around them. They usually play tricks on other, usually to have a few laughs. They are good at shapeshifting also, they are rare in the world.

They ruled the world in their time in history. Demanding sacrifice in their name, usually human sacrifice, through some are benevolent enough to except other things, such as animal sacrifices instead. Many have faded with time, but a few have survive masquerading as humans. Many despise God and His angels, believing He just showed up one day, and over the years humans have slowly replace the Gods with God.

Demigods, are humans who achieve 'god-like' powers usually through supernatural means. Or a parent is a deity themselves.

Reapers are supernatural beings in charge of taking and bringing lives into and out of the world. But each time a Reaper creates a life, it must end one, and vice versa. However, only some Reapers are trusted with this ability, and many abuse it; which causes them to lose it. A Reaper can only take a life that is near it's end, or is near it's start. They cannot take life at will.

The first monsters, or Primes as there are known in the supernatural world, these monsters are the origins of their species.

Nephilim simply put, are the child of an angel and human, usually a fallen angel, as angels tend to stay in Heaven. Nephilim are somewhat weaker than their angelic parents, but they usually receive a portion of their abilities. Anything from healing to being able to exorcise and destroy demons with ease, but Nephilim do not have wings. And Nephilim are rare, usually because angels hunt them down and destroy them sometimes as soon as they are born, as Michael decreed them an abomination.

Half Demon and Half Human, like Nephilim, Cambions are rare, and they usually have some of the abilities of their demonic parents. But unlike Nephilim they are usually welcome into the demonic ranks, but only if they show the same level of evilness as their parents.

These are the demons and fallen angels that were hand picked by Lucifer and Lilith. Extremely strong and extremely resilient they are more powerful then your average demon.

He was incredibly intelligent for the time, and was naturally a leader of his people. Tribal warfare was rampant, and Merlin feared for his family, his clan, his people. One day a strange being, a demon, approached him with a solution to his problem. This demon promised Merlin the power to protect his people. Merlin was blinded by the need to protect his people, so blind that he didn't see that the demon was trying to trick him. He accepted the demon's promise, and was giving great power, he didn't see the snake under the flower... until it was to late. One day Merlin felt something growing inside of him, something dark. Before he could even conceive what happened, it happened. The demon granted him power, but it resulted in the demon merging with Merlin, this demon known simply as Void. Void took over and killed every last one of Merlin's people. He had been tricked, and he could do nothing but speak to the demon.

Eventually, Merlin was able to trick Void into building a special structure. This structure would act as a energy conductor. This circle of rings is now called Stonehenge. Merlin told Void that on a certain day, with certain events that Stonehenge would make him more powerful, perhaps strong enough to rival the gods, as Void was already strong enough to rival Satan. This was all a lie of course, Merlin noticed that during the summer solstice, he was able to take some control back. With that information, and an energy conductor, Merlin could possible, take full control back, and destroy Void. It worked. During the next summer solstice, Merlin was able to gain enough control to harness the energy conducted by Stonehenge and reclaim his body. But, Void wasn't fully destroyed, instead, Void was chained and bound deep inside Merlin's soul. The power that was giving to him stayed, but Void was chained. On occasion Merlin can unleash Void. Since Merlin's will is greater than Void's, Merlin can control Void.

Over the next thousand years, not much happened. The Romans came to Britian, they left, Merlin decided to travel the world. He would eventually return to Britain to help a little known legendary king, King Arthur. Merlin quickly befriended him, and was at his side all his life, even when Arthur laid upon his death bed. Merlin can tell you, that many of the stories involving King Arthur were pretty accurate, but some were just wrong. Merlin was touched when Arthur gave him Excalibur with his dying breaths.

After that Merlin went quiet. He started to live a semi normal life. He made his way to Canada in the early 20th century, and moved to America in the 50's. Soon he noticed that he was being watched. The watchers disappeared as quickly as they appeared. He learned that they where part of an organization called Division 6. He grew weary of them, and was cautious of them when he noticed they returned. He moved away and all but vanished to avoid them. Now he walks past their base often, and they have no idea.

Biography:

Born into the rough tundra of the Asian continent as well as his sister. Being one of the more ancient gods in the pantheon, he has special privileges when it comes to his actions in the mortal world. He often fought with his sister, often over how he is benevolent to the humans, while his sister despises them and curses them with crops. For the majority of his life he fought in a never ending battle with his sister, that was until one day he managed to banish her to a void in another realm of existence, which would one day become known as hell when god came around. After his long fight with his sister, he was weary and left for European continent. On the European continent he didn't have the reverence that he did in Asia, so he had to force the villages to offer him sacrifices to keep himself fed. He lived a comfortable, yet despised, life in the European an Asian continents, often flying in between them. However as his followers stopped praising him for his benevolence in the Asian continent, he became known as an evil being that they said was intelligent, but not greatly so.

He spent a great many years entertaining himself by flying around the world and making various deals and various legends about himself that surprised him to survive as long as they did.

He often entertained himself during the ages of knights and castles by having epic battles where he pretended to die to the heroes blade. He would then wait til everyone was gone, as they couldn't harm his body and then leave for a few years. The most entertaining part would be when he came back to those so called heroes when they were frail and elderly and show them the true terror of fighting a dragon. However like all games, eventually someone had to ruin the fun. Or in this case, increase the fun. Seven so called heroes came to slay him, and almost succeeded. They would cut off his heads and scorch the bloody humps, preventing him from being able to heal. They cut off seven of his once ten heads and burned each one of them individually. When they managed to put him into a position from whence they could of killed him, Hunter gave them an offer. "In return for my life, you shall each receive the head you cut off into your bloodline." They accepted and would later be known as the Seven of Sumeria.

As his life continued on, and age started to catch the old weary dragons mind, he began to dream of days of old, and fell into a deep slumber somewhere off in the sea of japan. That was centuries ago. When he awoke, it was already the 21st century, and he spent his first years learning from his companions in the pantheon (perk of being one of the oldest ones there) what had happened when he slumbered. It was from there that he had learnt of a certain division six that was what might be the closest thing to being one of those seven that caused him pain so long ago. This was all a lie of course, Merlin noticed that during the summer solstice, he was able to take some control back. With that information, and an energy conductor, Merlin could possible, take full control back, and destroy Void. It worked. During the next summer solstice, Merlin was able to gain enough control to harness the energy conducted by Stonehenge and reclaim his body. But, Void wasn't fully destroyed, instead, Void was chained and bound deep inside Merlin's soul. The power that was giving to him stayed, but Void was chained. On occasion Merlin can unleash Void. Since Merlin's will is greater than Void's, Merlin can control Void.

Over the next thousand years, not much happened. The Romans came to Britian, they left, Merlin decided to travel the world. He would eventually return to Britain to help a little known legendary king, King Arthur. Merlin quickly befriended him, and was at his side all his life, even when Arthur laid upon his death bed. Merlin can tell you, that many of the stories involving King Arthur were pretty accurate, but some were just wrong. Merlin was touched when Arthur gave him Excalibur with his dying breaths.

After that Merlin went quiet. He started to live a semi normal life. He made his way to Canada in the early 20th century, and moved to America in the 50's. Soon he noticed that he was being watched. The watchers disappeared as quickly as they appeared. He learned that they where part of an organization called Division 6. He grew weary of them, and was cautious of them when he noticed they returned. He moved away and all but vanished to avoid them. Now he walks past their base often, and they have no idea.
