A little back story:

I live in the Netherlands. It's a nice country, low-lying, two meters below sea level, protected by dykes, levies, water pumps and our fort-like dunes surrounding the nation. There is water everywhere. Not only on the ground, but from the skies as well. Rain is not uncommon in our area of the woods, and we have learned to grow fond of it. Temperatures are mild because of all this water and sea close to us, and we almost never have to deal with temperatures above 23 C. Those are rarities.

Now, , alas, temperatures have risen to 27 C, 30 C and, soon, 36 C. These aren't temperatures we can handle. These aren't temperatures we can function under. I am melting away, with a garden hose plugged straight into my throat for good measure. Must keep hydrated! This heat also destroys my creative process. So, give the heat a few days to die down, then I can function again. Until then... avoid overly long words, complex mathematical equations and the meaning of life, and we'll be fine.

I think we need to bother people with telegrams. I'd be totally willing to keep going with this story or participate in a reboot.
