Staffield Brief History
The quiet City of Staffield lies on the West Coast of the United States in the State of Oregon. Tucked away in the northern reaches of the state's mountainous Williamette Forest, it is a small city home to more than five thousand people. Founded by explorer and pioneering settler Joseph Stanley Staffield II, the city, and likewise the small lake it is upon is named after him. Growing from a small settlement in the woods in the early 1800's, it wasn't until 1905 when the United States Army set up a small fort in the area. The fort has since shut down and has long since been abandoned. Mining tunnels riddle the surrounding mountains and hiking trails prominently feature small offshoots to popular meeting places for local groups and couples. Crime is incredibly low, though in the past three months has been on a steady rise as a series of break-ins has occurred and been left unsolved.

Staffield Structures and Landmarks
Staffield is home to many various structures as are needed by the local populace. Some basic commodities are present, but perhaps most intriguing is the large amount of landmarks present. This is mostly due to the town's possessive founder and his penchant for naming anything and everything he found that was new to him. As a result of this, the town's Historical Foundation and much of the history-related classes in the local schools are often close-knit and well-funded. Due to the new encroachment of certain industrial plants in the area, reopening the mill in the northern district of the town and the general maintenance facilities to make sure everything stays running, the town is beginning to quickly modernize its approach on education and new more science oriented classes can be found in many of the schools.
