In all honesty, Doom should have made some impact in the IJ storyline. I was going to with Ray-El because his power was magic-based, and Daud goes to the most powerful magician he knows that isn't Dr. Strange...VON DOOM! It's at that introduction we see that Doom doesn't care about us, but will teach the boy for plot. But then it got canned.

In what we've seen on screen (IC) in Infinite Justice, Daniel doesn't actually do a lot of prep time. He just wings it. Prime example being the Ultron/Doomsday Arc, which Daniel could have prepped for while everyone was getting stomped, but instead came up with portals. Portals.

If anything, Daud had excellent prep against any past opponent.

Speed Demon: "I'm not going anywhere near Latveria. I could be going billions of times the speed of light and Doom would know I was there. I prefer living thank you very much."

I'm not sure about Claudia. I haven't had enough time to develop her.
