He'd usually be dressed in casual clothes, but the outfit above is his battle garb, and it appears on him when he wills it. Ignore the staff.

Species: Human

Backstory:

Benjen was born on the streets and raised on the streets. His parents died when he was merely 9 years old, and he had been forced to fend for himself ever since. The streets was not an easy place to inhabit. He had to steal, and fight in order to survive. He hardly had any friends, and the only person he trusted was himself. Everyday was a struggle for poor Benjen, until he discovered his gift.

It was a terrible day, the worst Benjen had faced. It was the day Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans. Benjen ran from building to building begging for help, everyone directed him to the community shelter, blocks away. Benjen was already waist deep into the tide. he knew he'd never make it, and he probably wouldn't have. Just as the flooding tides was about to pull him under, he blacked out.

When Benjen awoke, he found himself on the roof. He crawled to the edge and tried to yell for help, but his yells were soon devoured by the roar of a helicopter. As he looked up he found himself staring at a S.H.I.E.L.D. logo. A man in a suit extended his arms and smiled. He invited Benjen for lunch on the helicopter. Benjen looked down at his gut and felt it rumble as he lunged forward and grabbed the man's arm.

As they sat down on the helicopter the man told him, what Benjen thought was preposterous, he told Benjen he had powers, that he was gifted. Benjen felt worried, he was starting to believe that the man had malicious intentions, but then, the man took his phone out and showed Benjen a video. It was a video recorded by presumably a resident staying in one of the apartments around Benjen when he was trapped. It showed clearly Benjen shouting incoherently, and then seemingly vanished and reappeared on the rooftop. Benjen stared in amazement, he couldn't believe that he'd manage to do that, he thought it was just a trick.

As his gut rumbled again, he wondered when the food would arrive. He quickly got upset when the man told him that there wasn't any food. The man told him to say what he wanted, but backwards. Benjen refused at first, and he thought it was sily, but after some time, he got desperate. After several tries, he managed to get it right. "Doof em evig!", he muttered, and io and behold, a plate of chicken, just as he had envisioned in his mind, sprang onto his lap.

Benjen grinned as he realized he'd never have to starve again, the man reminded him that he'd not only never have to starve again, but he'd be able to do whatever he wants, albeit with a little training, from S.H.I.E.L.D.

On that fateful day, Benjen was inducted into the S.H.I.E.L.D. Gifted Program.

Powers and Abilities:
Magic: In order to use his magical abilities, Benjen must speak his spells backwards. With this power, he can do almost anything with proper timing and training. This power is based on life energy. Potentially nigh-omnipotent.

Weaknesses:
-Unskilled in physical combat.

-His Magic utilizes life-energy as a fuel, hence he either uses his own life-energy, which replenishes over time but might cause him to be fatigued easily, or he absorbs the life-energy of others.

-He needs to want the outcome confidently, for his spell to work properly. His spells would still work if he doesn't want the outcome, but its effects would be significantly diminished, i.e. healing an enemy.

-He needs to be able to speak to cast spells.

-His complacency might affect his judgement, in and out of combat.

-His spells will not work as efficiently on people who are skilled in magic.

These are his Upper Limits[Note that all of these are achievable only if he chooses to will it, and is confident of doing so, is completely doubtless about it's consequence and has enough life-energy. For example, He could have the required life-energy and be facing the hulk, and he says "Hulk dies." backwards, but because he'd doubt whether what he's doing is right, the spell would not work. ]

Destructive Capacity: Potentially Planetary level.

Speed: Potentially FTL

Durability: Potentially Star Level

Lifting Strength: Potentially Class Y

Striking Strength: Potentially Class EJ

While only utilizing his own life energy with robes on

Destructive Capacity: Island level via magic/ Wall level via strength enchantments.

Speed: Sonic. [Able to teleport instantaneously if he wishes it and all of the conditions are fufilled]

Durability: City level via magical barrier/Small building level via strength enchantments.

Lifting Strength: Class 100 via magical telekinesis/Class 5 via strength enchantments.

Striking Strength: Class KJ via strength enchantments

Intelligence: Almost Genius-Level intellect, but tends to get complacent easily.

Standard Equipment:
S.H.I.E.L.D. Badge.

Asgardian battle robes: The robes allow him to cast spells while utilizing less life-energy as fuel, hence making it more efficient.(0.5x)
