I REPEAT, I LIED, I WASN'T READY.' However, he managed to hold his composure fairly well.

With an annoyed expression on her face, Shiroi shot an unpleasant glance at Leonard, before becoming perplexed at the sight of blood dripping from his nose. "Your nose... why is it bleeding?" she asked curiously, unable to understand how the two girls kissing had affected the boy so heavily. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a handkerchief, handing it up for him to take if he wanted. Then she realized that he wasn't the only one with a nose bleeding. "Why do men's noses bleed at the sight of girls kissing?" she asked Leonard, as though the obvious sexual undertones did not dawn on her.

Leonard shrugged and wipe his nose using the handkerchief.

"Eh. I don't really know myself, I guess men find it inherently lewd or something, I dunno."

Kuhlfros wrote:Lucas had reclined his feet on the desk, leaning back in his chair while the others tested out their Ripples and Spins spacing out. He wasn't looking when Avena and Carmina were kissing but he could tell it got a lot warmer in the room and lots of guys..and girls around had begun to blush or have blood drip out of their nose.

Shrugging it off he cheered everyone on halfheartedly, "yeah guys go you can do it..." and returned to his blank thoughts...however a question had struck him. ""Why can't I do that?"

"You know why, focusing your aura like that isn't going to produce nice little glow and then shoot bolts of aura harmless to you or make a shield for you, it's impossible" He replied to himself but then rebuked himself

"It's what I get, I mean I have the most unnatural and inhuman aura in this room but...I guess it was supposed to be impossible for me to surivive infancy, impossible for me to successfully bind the dust with my very cells without dying, it was impossible for me to survive that night in the forests with dad... I live for the impossible, If I can't know and overcome my own weaknesses how can I live up to my father's name?"

He stood up, determination was evident on his face and walked towards the blocks where the spin users were practicing and went past it and to Leonard, "Hey teach, mind if I run over to my dorm? I forgot some papers for next class."
This was a lie of course, or atleast a partial one, before going to the dorms to get the paper he was missing he would stop by the training room they had used this morning and try to adapt Spin to his volatile aura and semblance but he wasn't going to test in out in front of everyone,
"Better to not do it that show where my weakness really lies right" he reasoned

The teacher smirked a little.

"Yeah, sure go ahead.
We don't want you failing classes." He had a small idea of what the student was thinking about.

"No, no.
You're doing it too roughly.
Don't think of what might happen if you don't believe.
Just apply your hand like this..." She took his hand and gently put it onto the block.

"There, now just try to apply the Spin.
If you can do it, then go." She smiled at him half content, both due to the fact that she was slightly seducing him, and the fact that she managed to get this close.

Togami shifted uncomfortably for a moment. "I appreciate the advice." He said curtly. Why is she touching me? Is she... is this what flirting is? I... I'm not sure what to do about this.

Crack. A noise made Togami turned his head backward, but nothing seemingly made the noise. Strange. What the heir did see was the class, several of which seemed to have developed nose bleeds and at least half of the room was blushing. Why are they- It was then that Avena and Carmina's kiss was made apparent to Togami.

They're... they're both girls. Why are they...? Togami shook his head and turned away, trying to quash the general feelings of confusion that followed such a display. The room seemed to get smaller and Aria's proximity to Togami was becoming a bit overwhelming even if she was at a generally accepted space from him. Crack. The noise once again made him turn to look at Ether, whom had conveniently woken up in time to aid a girl that seemed to be about to pass out, which was understandable given how the room seemed to be swaying along a pendulum.

Can these infants do nothing but listen to their base urges? Ugh... no matter. Focus. Spin.

Crack. A small purple glow seemed to surround Togami's arm as if his aura was becoming too much to handle.

"Spin, dammit!" Togami yelled furiously at the stone.

Snap The teen's arm spun faster than his body could handle, dislocating his shoulder and tipping over the monolith that had been part of the assignment.

"Ah!" He grabbed his arm in pain.

Heamet raised an eyebrow at the scene.

"Shit man, that was... Brutal to say the least.
You even dislocated your shoulder!
Oh well, it's not like it's anything too big, come here, I'll put it back where it's supposed to be." He extended his hand to Togami and waited for his response, Aria on the other hand simply jumped over the block to get Togami on the ground, as to not bother the ones still training.

"Don't think of it as a an obligation.
It won't work, plus, you aura seemed to be overloading, which is not good.
Once Heamet puts your shoulder back in the same place, I'll shoot a healing bullet in it, at least you'll be able to use your arm."

Nachfolgia wrote:"Really!! That's so cool!" Avena yelled to Leonard as she got really excited. She was anticipating how epic it would be for a sniper to run up the wall and then shoot someone. Her confidence was overflowing at this point, believe she could pull this off on the first go. " So all I have to do is breath like, before and I could run up the wall?" Avena thought out loud. She the began to breath for a couple of seconds, thinking that was enough. Avena then took off.

She ran towards the wall as fast as she could, ignoring the cries from everyone else. When she got close to the wall, Avena leaped, placing her lead foot in front of her. Her foot made contact with the wall and immediately slipped off. Avena smacked into the wall at full speed and fell to the floor. " Owwww....why didn't that work?" Avena growned as she slowly got up. She slowly walked back over to where Carmina was, clutching her head in pain. " I guess I could try electrocution next. Jackson! Come over here so I can shock you!" Avena yelled out.

The teacher smiled.

"Well, yes it is! But-" He was cut off by Avena immediately trying to climb up walls.

"As much as it can work as is, most of the time, you need to cover the surface in oil, it's something that heavily conducts the Ripple, but if you manage to not push too hard against the oil, you can hold on and climb."

Stormwrath wrote:"Awww, yiss!" The two girls high-fived each other after achieving a nice display of their Aura. Leonard then explained that the way they were utilizing their Aura can make them conduct and channel electricity, as well as boost themselves to higher speeds. Avena wanted to try dashing up a wall at that moment, so she ran at top speed at it and slipped off the wall—falling to the floor in a comical manner. Guess that didn't work. She walked back to Carmina with a head full of pain.

"Guess your Ripple needs more work," Carmina said to the pink-haired girl. "Let me try."

She breathed in a rapid pace in order to activate her Aura, and her core glowed brighter than ever. Yes, she was finally gaining the energy she needed to succeed where Avena failed. But she didn't realize that all she was doing was hyperventilating with huge gulps of air, and so passed out. Guess she took too long and too much air.

Leif was having a hard time getting across the large block. Even though he placed his hand on the block, he didn't start spinning yet. Oh come on, he thought to himself. You can do it. You can do it. After way more tries at it, he could feel the Aura coursing through his body like a raging stream of energy. Now! A loud whirling noise blew through the classroom and blew up some dust clouds. Once the dust cleared, Leif could be seen at the other side of the monolith. "I… did it?" Leif questioned himself. "Whoa, that was awesome! Let's try that again!" He placed his hand on the block and began to concentrate. Once again, his Spin activated and he was "teleported" to the other side of the block. "This is so cool!" he exclaimed.

Across the room, Jackson was still lying on the floor due to what happened. He could feel a tender bump on his forehead. "Jackson!" he heard Avena yell from the other side. "Come over here so I can shock you!"

"No way," Jackson yelled back with a predictable response. "Not when you're asking my permission."

And as soon as Carmina passed out, Leonard facepalmed.

"Every fucking time.
I'll say it again, you don't need to rush your training, if you do, you'll most likely end up hurting your body, which is not what we want to do here."

Team Fate

Aiden led his team through the hallway to where they were supposed to go. As they were walking, they passed by their dorm, Victoria in there talking to someone on her scroll. Eardwulf looked at Victoria confused. He didn't remember seeing her when he left this morning. They continued on until they ran into Ulfric. Aiden looked up at the hulking man. Ulfric towered over them by a good few feet, as he stood at an impressive 6'7. His broad shoulders and muscular body added to his size, easily being able to intimidate most opponents into submission. Some rumors even began spreading around that he once stopped a Beowulf pack when he was 10 by staring at them until they fled. Whether they were true or not was clearly up to Ulfric, but he wouldn't say. He preferred to keep quiet about things before becoming a teacher at Beacon. He stared at the four boys.

"What are you four doing here, and not in class? You know you are breaking the rules right? So why are you out of class? Do you have permission to be out of class?" Ulfric asked, staring at Aiden.

"I was the one that brought them out of their classes. I needed them for something and so I pulled them out of class." AIden said, squaring up to Ulfric.

"No you didn't, but I see what you're trying to do. But I'll humor you. You three," Ulfric said pointing to Taro, Fabi, and Eardwulf, "You're free to go. I'll talk wth Aiden here." Ulfric said looking Aiden. Aiden looked at Ulfric with a determined face. Ulfric chuckled. This first year student, and not a particularly muscular one, was staring defeat in it's eyes, but he wasn't flinching or darting his eyes side to side.

"You think you can size yourself up to me? Your asking for a duel. Ahh, that'll be your punishment, I'll duel you. Me and you. How's that 'Spunk'? Meet me in my class in an hour for our duel." Ulfric told Aiden before turning to set up his room for the duel.

"No, we have to duel when everyone can watch us. I want people to see us duel." Aiden piped up as Ulfric was walking away.

"Well well well, you want to be beaten publicly huh? Well who am I to stop you. Meet me at the arena then after classes and we'll have a public duel. But let me tell you one thing, I will not go easy on you just because of your brashness. I will beat you so hard you'll regret you ever agreed to this. Now, go to your current class until it's time for the duel." Ulfric said sternly walking away. Aiden smiled a bit.

Finally, a chance to prove my skill. I hope Blake sees this. MAybe after the duel I'll have enough courage to ask her out. I mean, I am fighting a motherfucking 6'7 badass. Asking a girl out can't be to hard. Now I just need to tell my team. Aiden thought as he opened his scroll and started to rattle off a message to his team.

Hey guys, I'm having a duel against Ulfric after classes. I want you three to find Blake and sit behind her so you can tell me what she says about the duel and my skill. If you do, I'll pay for the next time we eat out. -Aiden

Alright. This time make it pizza. I really want pizza. -Fabi

Aiden smiled. At least one of his teammates would sit behind Blake, and as such, he was going to get pizza for the group. Aiden took a deep breath and walked to were his class was, but before turning to go to his dorm. When he arrived there, Victoria had left and made the team's beds. Aiden thanked her in his mind and opened his desk. Inside was his music player and an unfinished letter to his parents. He popped some music on and started to finish writing the letter to his parents, telling them of the duel that'd be taking place. As he finished, he sealed the envelope and went to the mail room to send the letter to his parents. He then headed to his room to psych and hype himself up for the duel.

She watched as Avena, who she didn't know very well but seemed too enthusiastic for her taste, climbed the wall before falling down again. She wondered whether she should make a show of snickering, since she worried that her cold and callous demeanor would end up disturbing the others eventually, if it hadn't already. Every now and then, Shiroi would fake emotions in an attempt to lead other students and faculty to think she was just a loner. It had always been this way. She knew that people expected emotions, and someone who largely lacked these would be regarded with suspicion or even fear due to being 'unnatural.' She covered her hand over her mouth and did her best attempt to snicker, musing to herself that she did fairly well.

What was it again? Oh right, breathe. Twenty times, in ten seconds. Breathe.

Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale.

He repeated this, until he felt some kind of surge, though extremely subtle, coursed to his palms. Continuing his breathing, he brought both palms ahead of his face, then place them facing one another.

And then, he could see a small surge of electricity flowing through both palms, as if they were arc coils.

But he didn't see any glow in his core.

"What? Is that it?", he asked in confusion.

Leonard tapped the boy's shoulder.

"Almost there, keep it up.
You're doing good if you can already do this." He smiled and then continued to supervise the Spin users, most of them were already doing good.

Except some, that didn't seem like they were believing hard enough.

Aka only smiled a little in response to Leonard's words. He was too focused in trying to master the Ripple. He began to intensify his breathing.

Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale.

At first, it didn't change much. But then, slowly, the amount of electricity arcing between the fingers intensified. His hands began to glow bright yellow, though only slightly. Nevertheless, he was proud he could push this far, as a grin made its way to his lips.

Togami breathed in through his teeth, frustrated with himself. I'm such an idiot. Why are we even learning about this? I could be working on my constructs' interaction with Dust.

The teen grumbled to himself as he headed over to Heamet and winced in painful anticipation for the setting that would take place. "It would be nice if you hurried up." Togami was not one for putting up with people in general, but even the slightest hesitation, or perhaps none at all, would anger him in this state.

Heamet winced back a bit.

"Wow man, calm down a bit." The sarcasm filled student spoke before using his palm to simply make the shoulder slide back into place, followed by a healing bullet shot to ease the pain.

"No point in getting aggressive, after all, it's not so bad, we could be just writing on paper, and that'd be boring.
Take it on the bright side, there's only an hour or so to go.
You should be fine by then." He tapped the heir's shoulder lightly and went to sit down, he preferred to learn with everybody at the same time, not because he knew how to do it because he did it before.

"If you can't do it, that's alright, I doubt Leonard was expecting everyone to be sensitive to the Ripple or Spin.

"Leonard, can I carry her elsewhere so she can rest?" The owl looked at the girl again.
"I-is that okay with you?"

"Wha?... No, no, I'm alright... I'm alright..."

She began to stand straight again, her hand fumbling inside her pocket to grab something. She pulled out yet another granola bar. "Ment, just how many of those did you make."

"Enough to feed me and the rest of CMCL for a week."

She opened the plastic wrapping and gnawed on the nutritious snack, though the aftertaste of apparently fire dust left a hot sensation her mouth. It also worked to heighten her awareness, and she was back in the game. "I'm going to try it again," she said to Ether, already beginning to breath once more. This time, her light aura expanded smoothly, and Purnama chipped in without going overboard.

Ether senses murderous intent.

Level Get! Unspent Badassery Points!

Is what would be appearing upon Ether's HUD if life was an MMORPG. Of course, it wasn't, and he had no real way of what was coming next. Because what was coming next, no one could've saw coming.

Oiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii~ Cat. Why did you wake me? You usually just let me nap. Not that I'm complaining, but I mean... t'was a really good nap...

FULL? I would CEASE TO EXIST! THE HELL?

I need to do some uncharacteristically badass shit about now, so, I'm requesting you cease to exist with me, seeing as how we'll become a new person. It can't be that bad, can it?

The murderous rage within Chess' eyes was apparent at the sight of Ether catching Mint. He will pay, she thought, her mismatched eyes reaching an equilibrium, I shall show him the strength of a blade, and the might of a photograph. "Ether~" Chess said eerily sweetly, a pair of matching eyes glaring at the boy. One hand, if one was paying particular attention, was wrapped around the Chimamire's firing piece. Lucas managed to escape the classroom waving his thanks to the Professor

Once he reached the training room he and the rest of Team CMCL had used he was surprised...the room was completely repaired from thier rampage, in fact it looked cleaner than when they came this morning.

Lucas sat down and crossed his legs, and closed his eyes and dulled his mind to not hear as he began to breath, "in...out..in..out-in-out" he thought to himself as he increased his speed of breathing, he could tell he was activating his aura as he could feel his entire body, muscles, bones, joints, and even his mind were starting to scream.

Taking the initiative he stood up straight, eyes and ears still shut away and crossed his arms as he actually began physically feeling the pain instead of knowing it was there. Although Lucas couldn't tell he visibly looked like he was in pain, sweat was starting to roll down his face, which was contorted in a mixture of pain and rage. Arcs of electricity were starting to travel around the room coming from his body, yet there was no glow of aura.

""The red spots again?!" Lucas thought with a tone of annoyance before completely collapsing and falling to unconsciousness. Several minutes later Lucas reawakened and felt his whole body go numb, pushing himself anyways despite the stabs of sharp pain in his arms and legs.

He grimaced as he repeated the same thing again and again, however it turned into a pained smile when he started to feel soothing warmth cover his body, if only for a brief half second before collapsing once again.

"I won't stop yet." Lucas said to himself outloud sprawled out on the cold floor

"Why don't we test that theory?" she asked with a devilish smile on her face, before grasping hold of Charlotte's chest.

She stiffened instinctively, absolute terror running through her mind, and then something snapped. She pulled away, striking the other girl's arm, and brought her fingers quickly to her temples, closing her eyes and whispering,

"You may not feel emotion, but I'll wager you can feel pain--you're going to pay for that." She was exhausted from using her semblance earlier, but she couldn't--she just couldn't let such things go unpunished. If she did...

She shook away the fear, the doubt, activated her semblance, and unleashed hell.

Shiroi withdraw her arm as Charlotte stiffened, which didn't prevent her arm from being struck. That was going to leave a bruise, she thought. The other girl might not be particularly strong, but strong enough to inflict some damage on Shiroi's frail skin. "Ouch," she said, although it was hard to tell whether she was being sarcastic or merely unemotional. When Charlotte mentioned pain and paying for that, Shiroi realized she needed to act quickly.

Immediately, her arm darted to her weapon, and she swung the cat o nine tails toward Charlotte's face while she was activating her semblance.

Pain. A sharp pain. First the touch, and then the pain. Always--always how it was--no! No! She wasn't there--she was somewhere else--she was here--now--but when was now? When was now? Now--Nao. Past? Present? Future? Always so confusing. Always so terrifying. She had to stop this--the pain, increase the pain.

So she did increase the pain--she tripled it.

Stop. Stop. Stop.

Some people just can't."

"Ah-ah-ah," the teen complained as Heamet set the bone rather roughly before the sweet relief that flowed throughout his body eased his tensions. He let out a sigh of relief.

"Thank you." He said to Aria, then turning to Heamet. "Both of you. That was very kind." The subsequent smile was genuine for once, even if it did retain its reserved and aristocratic quality that always came off as disingenuous.

FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

"Ugh, finally." Jackson was pretty exhausted from going back and forth between the giant block in order to master his Aura. Good thing Avena didn't go ahead and shock him with her "electricity." Leif seemed to be less exhausted than Jackson was—in fact he liked that class. Thank goodness there wasn't going to be any test. As for Carmina, let's just say she had laid there on the floor of the arena for around fifteen minutes before she regained consciousness. "WHAT THE? WHO THE? WHY THE?" she burst out in a series of yells while patting all over her body. "Where am I? Who am I? Oh. It's me, and I'm in the arena. Huh."

Jackson walked up to her and offered her a hand. Carmina extended hers in response and got on her feet with Jackson's help. "Guess I passed out, huh?"

"Yeah," he shrugged. As the two began to walk back to the bleachers to get their things, the team leader turned his head around a caught a glimpse of Leif running towards them. "It looks like Leif seemed to waste less energy than I did."

"That, or you just exerted yourself too much," Carmina quipped. She turned her head and called out to Avena, "Come on sniper, let's bounce."

The other students had gone back to the bleachers to get their things—bags, notebooks, pens and all that. Looks like this was going to be the end of a long day, but it wasn't just going to end in the most mundane manner. Just as they were about to leave the room, the ground seemed to be shaking like the collective running of Beowolves and Ursi. Realizing that it was coming right for them, Jackson grabbed the rest of his teammates by the collar yelling, "WATCH OUT!"

He tugged them with him and stopped with his back on the wall as a large group of students were beginning to pour into the amphitheater, rushing to fill the available seats in the bleachers. They came inside the massive room in droves, as if something big was going to happen. Team JACL must have looked confused as much as Leonard's students at this recent development in the day—they don't remember some kind of sparring match being announced for today. Whatever it was, it certainly got their attention. "I don't remember this in the schedule," Jackson remarked.

"Oh, you think?" Carmina pushed away his hand from her collar, adjusting it after. They watched as what looked like four or five classes of students finding their seats in the amphitheater. Jackson, still looking confused as ever, said in a resigned manner, "Guess we should see what's up."

They returned to their usual spot in the front seats and sat down. Jackson looked intently at the arena in order to find out what was going on. Carmina and Avena certainly appeared to be more excited, and seemed to have drawn the conclusion that there was going to be a sanctioned unsanctioned fight here. In fact, the two were cheering in spite of not knowing fully what was going to happen. "WHOOOOOO!!!" Carmina yelled her loudest with the rest of the crowd, raising her clenched fists up in the air. Since she couldn't hear herself properly she leaned in and asked Avena in a raised voice, "Why are we yelling!?"

There and then, a large figure emerged from the vomitorium and walked to the center of the arena. The members of JACL could recognize who that person was, for there was no one as massive as him. "Professor Orcson!?" Jackson, Carmina and Leif reacted in unison. After a few seconds, another figure emerged from the opposite arena entrance and strode towards Ulfric as well. "Aiden Young!?"

What is the world coming to? Aiden's gonna get crushed instantly by Ulfric. Hopefully he can survive that fight for as long as possible…

Blake Belladonna

Team RWBY must have been slightly exhausted from their classes as well, though it didn't appear to show—save for Ruby. Blake had her textbooks and notebooks held tightly on her chest, while a still energetic Yang walked beside her. Weiss was also holding her articles on her chest. The secretly a faunus girl could observe that Ruby's posture was already drooping, with her arms in front of her and her body curving inward. "Ugh," she groaned. "Today was sooooo boring."

Weiss figured this would happen to her teammate—Ruby hadn't paid any worthwhile attention to the professors. "That's because you're often so disinterested. Sometimes I wish you had just taken your studies more seriously," she raised her right hand up to her head and pressed on her temples with her middle finger and thumb. She knew what Ruby would often do, especially in Professor Port's class. She would doze off and sleep because of Port's bombastic storytelling about his exploits when he was still in his youth.

A random student came running up to them at full speed and stopped in front of them. He placed his hand on the wall and panted heavily. "What's wrong? W-what's going on?" Ruby got curious.

After breathing a large gulp of air, the student straightened his posture and said to the group, "Some idiot student's… going to fight… Professor Orcson… in the amphitheater!"

"What!?" the young fifteen year old responded. "What did he do?"

"I have no idea…" He began to run past them. "Just head there now!"

The team must have been confused. Then again, at least today got a lot more interesting. "Man," Yang commented. "Professor Orcson always does stuff like this. Should we check it out?" she asked her sister.

"I guess so," Ruby shrugged. Turning to the other two she asked, "Blake, Weiss, are you coming?"

Weiss shook her head. "I think I'll just head back to our room and study. I don't feel like wasting time."

"Guess you're coming along, right Blake?" Ruby turned to her.

There was a few seconds of pause before she looked at Ruby and smiled a little. "I don't see why not," she replied. After all, she might need to have a little fun today.

Charlotte saw little to no point in caring about the strange whatever that was going on. She returned to her room, and finally got a chance to change back into her own clothes. Then she sat down on her bed and began sketching. She wasn't entirely sure what--only that she knew it was something important. Something her mind needed to put on paper.

Her eyes widened as she began to realize what she was drawing. Terror. That was what she drew--absolute, unreasoning terror.

She destroyed the paper, ripping it into tiny pieces that anyone would have a hard time piecing together again, and disposed of the scraps. Then she lay back on her bed with a sigh, staring at the ceiling and feeling... tears.

...what's wrong with me.

Aka heard the bell rang. He groaned inwardly. Just when I finally getting the hang of it.

He made a mental note to ask Leonard for a Ripple tutoring session outside of school hours. He had become interested in mastering this kind of Aura manipulation. He gathered his bearings, and left the class.

However, just as he's about to step outside the class, a massive stampede of students almost charged through him, had he not reflexively backtracked.

What the hell?, he thought as he observed the students' general direction. Some of them were yelling "Fight!", "the auditorium!", and "some professor is going to beat a student!"

He raised an eyebrow, clearly confused. A professor would face a student in a WWE SUUUPEEERSLAAAAAMMMM beatdown?

He contemplated the idea to watch the match. He had nothing to do but playing his guitar, so maybe this could be a good way to waste time. He followed the students, entering the auditorium, and sitting on one of the bleachers in the back row. He didn't know why but he loves the back row.

" Awww, are we done already? I didn't get to shock Jackson yet." Avena pouted as she followed Carmina out. They didn't get far before the massive surge of students poured into the arena. Thanks to Jackson, the girls were not trampled to dead by the horde. Team JACL decided to take their seats. It was then that Avena knew what was going on. This was a fight!

Avena sat on the edge of her seat in unimaginable excitement. She always enjoyed fights in the arena between two people. It was way more interesting that the opponents were equally intelligent and dangerous. Avena looked at Carmina when she whispered what was going on. " It's a fight! I hope it's a good one." Avena said before focusing back on the arena. She couldn't wait to see who was going to fight and hoped, by some odd chance, that it would be her. To her disappointment, it was not herself that was fighting, but Professor Orcson and Aiden Young. " They must have some serious beef to want to fight each other." Avena commented as she stood up from her seat. " Go what'syourname!! Kick his ass!!!" Avena yelled out, obviously confused about what was going on.

The Duel, Part One

5 minutes before the Duel
"You got this Aiden, you got this. You can take him down, he's not that bad. Just survive to the third round, and he's beat. You're younger, more energetic, and you got a woman to impress. You got this. Who killed an Ursa in two hits? Me. Who leads the coolest team here? Me. Who can recite the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny by heart? Me. I'm Aiden Motherfucking Young, and I can fight anyone and win. I'm a badass, nothing less. I will beat Ulfric. I can and will. Swear on my grave." Aiden said to himself, pumping himself up for the big match. Meanwhile, Fabi FIlipov stood at the door, keeping his eye open for Blake as per Aiden's request. Eardwulf was making sure that Ulfric agreed to the rules, and Taro was behind Aiden, there for moral support.

"Aiden, I hope you know what you're doing. I will stand behind my leader, but I'm afraid for you. You know what can happen if your aura takes to much damage." Taro started to say before Aiden intterupted him.

"It can be damaged. Don't worry, I'll be fine. We're fighting in an arena in the school. Nothing bad can happen, especially with the goal I'm fighting for." Aiden explained, shadow-punching in practice.

"Aiden, why don't you just ask her out? Why do you need to duel Ulfric in front of just about everyone? And Aiden, this isn't boxing, you don't need to shadowbox." Taro said, putting his hand on Aiden's shoulders. Aiden stood there thinking of how to word his answer.

"Because I'm a coward. I'm to afraid to ask her out, let alone talk to her casually. I thought that if everyone saw me duel Ulfric, I would have the courage to ask her out, but I still think I'll be to scared." Aiden said, turning to Taro. Taro simply put his hands on Aiden's shoulders.

"Aiden, you are not a coward. You are one of the bravest people I know, and my family is all about bravery, so that's saying a lot. You're going to take Ulfric on in a duel. In front of nearly everyone mind you, so you got balls. And hey, if you can fight Ulfric, you can ask Blake out." Taro said, as he was heading out to the field to make sure that Ulfric agreed to the rules Eardwulf finalized with him. As they talked, Aiden and Ulfric heard the cheers of the crowed and they both got up to enter the field. As they both exited from opposite gates, the full brunt of the crowd's cheering hit them. Aiden smiled a bit to himself. Within a couple moments, Ulfric and Aiden we're standing face to face in the middle of the arena. Taro grabbed a mic and handed it to Eardwulf.

The Duel
"HELLO EVERYBODY!" Eardwulf yelled, instigating more cheers and yells from the audience, "As you know, this is a duel between Aiden and Ulfric, but before we watch Aiden get the shit pummeled out of him, I have three rules to go over. First, no semblance usage for the first round and the first-half of the second round. Second, no coup de grâces allowed. This is to protect Aiden, as Ulfric can get lost in the battle and fight as if he's fighting Grimm. And the third rule is don't damage the arena guys. This was personally asked by Victoria as she likes to train here, but both parties agreed to it. Any ways the fight will consist of three rounds, the first round being 5 minutes long, the second round ten minutes long, and the third round being as long as needed to finish this fight. Or until Ozpin shuts us down, but due to some clever planning on Taro's part, that should take a bit." Eardwulf said, looking a Taro with a smile. Taro held up his arm, which had many empty duct tape rolls down it.

"Anyways, let's get this fight started!" Eardwulf yelled before running into the locker room in the arena. Aiden and Ulfric took there places, Ulfric wielding his sword and shield, and Aiden gripping the hilt of his claymore that still resided in its sheath. As they stood, Taro counted down from three. Once Taro yelled go, Aiden unseated his sword and started to walk towards Ulfric, who positioned himself in his battle stance. Aiden quickly thought of a plan to attack successfully, and he waited for an opportunity. He waited until Ulfric lowered his shield a bit than bolted towards Ulfric, the tip of his claymore mere millimeters above the ground. Ulfric saw this and positioned his shield in front of his body, and sword hanging low, ready for a counter attack. When Aiden reached Ulfric he lifted up his claymore and swung down, letting it get blocked by Ulfric. Aiden lifted a quick smirk and then proceeded to knee Ulfric in the gut. Ulfric bent over a little bit, and the screen displaying the fighters aura showed that Ulfric had taken 5 points of aura damage, out of the 100 points. Ulfric then, with great speed and power smacked Aiden across the face with his shield, sending Aiden flying towards the gate Aiden came from. The screen showed Aiden lost half his aura points.

Holy shit! I knew Ulfric was strong, just not that strong! If Aiden takes another blow like that, it's all over for him. Fuck, Aiden don't mess up now. Taro thought as he stared at Aiden, who propped himself up. But Aiden didn't show the same signs of worry as Taro, he instead gritted his teeth and rushed towards Ulfric, yelling as he charged. The two proceeded to collide swords, Ulfric pushing Aiden back, but Aiden holding his own. The seconds ticked by, but the minutes felt like they would never pass for Aiden as he pushed back. With another yell, Aiden proceeded to push Ulfric back a bit, release his sword, and swing at Ulfric's shield. Ulfric blocked the attack, but he was knocked back a bit, as he was not prepared for that blow. Aiden redied himself for Ulfric's rush, but Ulfric stood in place and studied Aiden. He noticed that Aiden was in a stance that would allow Aiden to parry him, but he also noticed that his lower-left side of his body was completely open. Ulfric rushed towards Aiden and was about to hit him when Aiden slipped from Ulfric's swing and sidestep, hitting Ulfric. His swing was off though, as it nicked Ulfric's shield. Aiden cursed under his breath as he had to quickly dodge another attack, but he still took a small scratch to his chest, depleting one aura point. Aiden was prepared to go all out when the buzzer rang, signalling the end of the first round.

"Holy fucking shit, was that intense! The duelists will now take a five minute break to recharge. While they take a break, the bathrooms are open if anyone needs them." Eardwulf announced as he dropped the mic and headed towards Aiden.

"Dude are you okay, that shield bash took out half your aura points. Man, maybe you should forfeit, it's clearly a one-sided match." Eardwulf advised, putting an ice pack on Aiden's head. He pushed Eardwulf's arm away and took a deep breath.

"I'm not going to forfeit. I'd rather die than forfeit. I know it may seem ridiculous, but this isn't about victory. This is about me defending my teammates from punishment and trouble. And frankly, I'm doing a damn fine job. Listen, I'll fight until I lose, like normal. Taro, what say you?" Aiden asked, turning his head to look at Taro.

"You want to fight go ahead." Taro said, shrugging his shoulders. Taro then grabbed a water bottle for Aiden and looked up at the stands. He spotted Fabi, who also looked at him. Taro nodded to Fabi who nodded back.

"Fabi is in position, and is listening in." Taro said to Aiden.

"Good. Now, Eardwulf can you please get me a energy bar?" Aiden asked. He then stared at the timer, waiting for Eardwulf's return and round two.

Lucas had taken a shower and was just leaving the training room with wet hair and back in uniform, He was tired still from his fruitless attempts at focusing his aura for the special techniques the professor talked of. However, that feeling of exhaustion and failure quickly dispersed as word of a fight was going down, only hearing one of the competitor's names "Ulfric". At that Lucas dashed off to see the fight, making it just in time for the first round.

Ulfric was Lucas' combat teacher, and one of his favorites, especially for their similar fighting styles, and he knew by far that Ulfric was formidable , able to shut down any sneak attacks Lucas would attempt on him in his class, resulting in one of the reasons Lucas' often visits to the medical wing. But Lucas had no idea he could have directly challenged the Professor to a full on battle royale, tournament style.

As Lucas watched excitedly, his eyes moved at rapid speed, taking note of every movement the two competitors made, of course he looked for the spilling of blood (not that he would see any unless their aura was drained). While watching Lucas thought to himself
"That guy isn't half-bad, but one hit and he is down half his aura, While Ulfric still has almost all his. Ulfric is toying or testing him, he has hardly surged forward at all, a few steps forward, a few steps back. He is just there like a stone wall, sticking himself in one place until he sees fit to move and crush him."

As the bell rang, Lucas fell in his seat as if he was defeated,
"Not even a drop of blood, c'mon Ulfric, you've hit me harder, show him what you are made of."

Then a gleam came to his eyes and left his seat, pushing his way to get to wherever the Professor was resting before the next round. Knowing his manners (for once) he knocked on where he guessed Professor Orcson was resting before the next round. "Please tell me this is the right room."

The bell rang, signifying the end of class just as Mr. Demeter stopped the altercation between Charlotte and her assailant. Oh, how boring. It was just getting interesting too. Togami rolled his eyes as the class seemed to disperse, most going the way of the combat class.

"I can't believe someone actually challenged Prof. Ulfric to a duel." A student said in disbelieve to another. Togami turned his nose up at the teen whom had actually used the teacher's first name. How unprofessional. No matter. I'll have to see the child get destroyed later.

Togami's dorm was empty aside from himself and the plethora of items that littered his companions' spaces and a chill air seemed to linger in the darkness as he prepared for his transaction. Under the hunter's bed lay hidden a small, silver suitcase that he pulled out into the dusty room and headed for the door. Good. It hasn't been touched. Nice to know my roommates respect my space enough to keep to themselves.

With that thought, the boy stood and exited the room just as he had come, the chill of the hole of a dorm he crawled from travelling with him eerily. He posture and facial expression became cool, like that of a corporate executive officer or perhaps reminiscent of a lawyer coming down upon criminals with their swift hand of justice. Remember, set a price lower than what you want. Make them seem like you're doing them a favor. Do not show emotion; do not show weakness. His knuckles were white as he continued through the hallways.

Togami stopped, and stood just before just the individual for whom he sought. He cleared his throat, and addressed Mentari.

"It has come to my attention that you are rather skilled with anything that pertains to technology. I require assistance with a certain... issue of mine and it is my belief that you will be able to help me." Togami tapped his suitcase lightly, the crowd roaring from young Aiden's fight reverberated in the hallways so loudly that it was easily heard from even here.

"Do you know of anywhere we could... discuss this business more privately. Walls talk more than you think, and a reliable place to meet is in short supply these days." Togami glanced up and down the hallway seemingly with little care, masking the intense feeling of anxiety the situation gave him.
Hey, my name is Aidan and I am still figuring out who I really am. Most of my views are some form of leftism someone could probably tell me is not leftism. I'm a guy.
