far, far away...
Another year, another crop of fantastic roleplays, roleplayers, and posts. Welcome and welcome back to the 2nd annual “Best of P2TM Awards”, celebrating the best and the brightest that the Portal to the Multiverse has to offer. We saw some fantastic stuff this year in 2014, and it’s time we acknowledged it. But first, a bit of an introduction. My name is Astrolinium, and I will be your host.
Ever since the summer of 2012, when Portal to the Multiverse sprung fully-formed from the brain of mod as a promised land in which we, the forlorn of II, of F7, of NSG, who merely wished to roleplay as generations innumerable before us have done, might make our home. And what a home we’ve made. Nearly 11,000 topics and almost 3 million posts later, we’re here to stay – indubitably an integral part of the site, full of some of its most ingenuous and creative members. Long live the Portal to the Multiverse.
This accomplishment is more than respectable. It is amazing. It is awesome. And it requires an awards ceremony, something to memorialize the greatest threads and the greatest moments of the second year of P2TM’s existence, and to serve as a reminder as we go on through the years as to how great we all really are.
Now, let’s see what kind of awards and nominees we have this time – there’s plenty of familiar prizes, and a few new ones in store as well! Note that in certain categories which only had one nominee, I have taken the liberty of nominating additional persons/roleplays/characters/posts where I am qualified to do so.
