The Caucasian Genocide(Georgian: კავკასიური გენოციდი, Armenian: Կովկասյան ցեղասպանություն, Azerbaijani: Qafqaz Soyqırımı, Russian: Кавказский Геноцид), also known as the Great Crime(Georgian: დიდი დანაშაული, Armenian: Մեծ Հանցանք, Azerbaijani: Böyük Cinayət, Russian: Великий Преступность) and the Calamity(Georgian: უბედურება, Armenian: աղետ, Azerbaijani: Fəlakət, Russian: Бедствие), and known within Caucasia as the Great National Purification(Georgian: დიდი ეროვნული გამწმენდი) was the Caucasian Free State's systematic extermination of various ethnic groups, religious minorities, political criminals, and other various "undesirables". The starting date is conventionally held to be April 24th. 1838, following the execution of Caucasian playwright Tamerlan Jaharnaev by Caucasia's National Security Forces. The genocide followed a general pattern; Caucasian troops would enter a town or village and take those deemed to be "traitors to Caucasia" and separate them from those deemed to be desirable. From there, the "traitors to Caucasia" would be further subdivided into several groups: children under the age of 10, men between the ages of 10 and 50, women between the ages of 10 and 50, and elders over the age of 50. Children under the age of 10 had to undergo a program of "Caucasianization", where they were given Georgian names, converted to Georgian Orthodoxy, made to forget about their non-Georgian pasts, and given to Georgian families. Men between the ages of 10 and 50 were castrated and then forced to perform hard labor in a concentration camp until they died, generally of overwork, starvation, or disease. Women between the ages of 10 and 50 were made into sex slaves, or "comfort women", by Caucasian troops, and were generally abused or tortured in addition to being raped; most of the "comfort women" died from the abuse they suffered. Elders over the age of 50 were executed, generally shot, before being buried in unmarked mass graves.

Multiple groups were, for all intents and purposes, totally exterminated in the Caucasian Genocide, including the Chechnyans, Cherkess, Adygheans, Ossetians, Abkhazians, Avars, and Karachays. The only groups that survived the Holocaust were those with significant populations outside of Caucasia, such as the Armenians, Russians, and Azeris. Russian Jewish jurist Raphael Lemkin coined the word genocide in 1943 to define the systematic and premeditated extermination of a political, ethnic, or religious group with the Caucasian Genocide in mind. The Caucasian Genocide is acknowledged to have been one of the first modern genocides, because scholars point to the organized manner in which the killings were carried out in order to eliminate the Armenians, and it is one of the most infamous genocides in human history. Despite intensive study, though, it remains hard to get exact details due to obfuscation and denial from the Caucasian government.

The Caucasian Free State continues to deny that any genocide occurred in the country, and insists that the disappearance of non-Georgians within the country was the result of some form of mass cultural conversion that occurred without government involvement. Except you'd find defections from a whole slew of EAU and AfrU members who would refuse to join the war of the OAS Imperialists. The AU would intervene entirely to protect it's trade interests in South America in the form of Tawantinsuyu by all means possible.

So it's more like the Tripartite of Liberty + AU + a good chunk of the AfrU + Britain + Italy + Soviet Union/Ruthenia etc. vs. OAS + remaining EAU

Also: The South American states, afaik, don't give a fuck about what the OAS has to say. They were already reluctant to join the OAS anyway, and the mood is that they want to keep the Confederate imperialist out of their land.
