Alexander calmly rode his horse,Pancho Villa,to the Maryland State House. He greeted Thomas Orville from Orville's Bakery. It was still early in the morning and his kid and wife were still asleep. He bought a cup of cocoa and then remounted his horse. He arrived 15 minutes later and tied his horse. He had decided not to use his carriage because he felt like a show off when he used it.His secretary,Melissa, handed him a file and he entered his office. He went back to work.He received news of the raids of the frenchies but disregarded it.He needed to work on army's morale. His friend,Dr.Richard J.,had talked to him about a new weapons he had designed.A first of it's kind.Alexander had really liked it and had thought of proposing it to the army so it could be adopted.

Our first battle in this "War".A defeat.Although our boys fought until the last minute, they still lost. Why?They got us by the balls! Our supplies were reduced even though we managed to raid the south's forces.I have my solution for you.My friend,Dr.Richard, has showed me a new weapon.Something never seen before that would win us the war before it escalates too far.It can fire at high rates and hold many rounds at once.Or at least it will.See,Dr.Richard still needs funds to complete his design and that is why I urge the army to help develop this weapon so that the blood shed may be reduced. To prove the potential of this gun,I invite the everyone to a demonstration of the prototype soon. The details will be announced soon.

-Push for Reforms (for CSA Forces)

My fellow Senators, we are now consumed by this bloody and fiery war, where a large, federal bureaucracy that undermines the ideals of Republicanism, Freedom of Trade and States Rights seek to destroy us, to destroy this new Confederacy that champions these great ideals that caused our forefathers in the revolution to fight. We have the most gallant soldiers and the wisest of generals, and the news of the siege on Fortress Monroe truly shows the great potential we hold to sustain this Confederacy from Yankee aggression. HOWEVER!, our gallant troops need sustenance to defend our rights, our property and our homes, and if this bill gets passed, it would only further secure the sustainment of liberty that we seek to undertake.

Thank you

Tragedy and Triumph!

If there was ever reason enough to remove the yankees from our lands it would be the barbarity of the Union troops on this, our beautiful Virginia. Earlier this month a band of brigands clad in that devil's blue made their way from Kentucky into the underbelly of Virginia, whilst our men were preparing to defend Richmond, and set our home ablaze. Like serpents they retreated back into their dens before meeting our men in battle.

It is rumored the men are from the French Corps, or the Union VII. Corps. Our memories are long and our steel ready. As for me, I can't wait for our boys to punch those Frenchies right in their mouths.

All is not lost however, because our men under the command of D H Hill brilliantly liberated Fort Monroe in Southern Virginia. The Yankees are finally out of our home. Lets just pray it stays that way.

"What do you say, Senator?" asked the seller as he once again points to the gargantuan arms factory. The factory was able to produce all sorts of small arms, and Walker thought to himself as he realizes that he could easily profit off this war and make a better living, while this would enable him to expedite arms requests from the Armies in the Confederacy.

"Alright" said Ron "I'll accept, 10,000 Confederate Dollars"

The Seller shook Ron's Hand as Ron went to a table and wrote a cheque of 10,000 Dollars to the seller

Matt, I hope this letter finds you in good health and without heatstroke. The war hasn't really kicked off in the east yet; there's been movements, and a minor battle at Fort Monroe.

Anyway, this letter should be accompanied by a shipment of arms to keep your boys fighting. I'll send one every month unless you get cut off over there in the west. It's a long way, after all. I've also slipped in a few bottles of whiskey for you and the officers into Crate #94 for some relief.

Senator Ron Walker
Richmond, Virginia

"I'll sell you some of the 1841 Mississippi and Whitworth replicas I'd been producing to help the war effort, with a discount of 1/5th of the price" said the Senator to a quartermaster in a military Headquarters within Richmond.

Soon, the Senator had sold many Mississippi rifles and weapons that were based off the British Whitworth Rifle to the Confederate Army with a 20% Discount to help the war effort.

After selling the weapons, Walker walks to a podium in front of a courthouse, and he begins is speech to rally the populace

Citizens of the Confederacy,

Today, we are facing Yankee intrusions of our freedom, of our homes and of our property. Recently, the French Legion had destroyed towns that once were bustling and glorious, and our commerce, and our property has been disrupted. We are facing a grave danger to this Confederacy that was formed in the interest of freedom, and if we continue to stand so idly by, disaster may strike our great land. My friends, it is time that we unite togtether as one Confederacy, as one nation to remove this Federal Trechery from our land, to enshrine upon a new freedom, where our rights will not be taken away by this power hungry man named Abraham Lincoln, where the rights that were first illustrated in the Constitutional Convention in 1787 will be given to us, rather then be removed by a federal government trying to seize our powers, where our individual states will have the rights to nullify laws that remove our rights, and our freedoms. To do so, our gallant boys now ready to vanquish the federal force in Manassass Junction will need YOUR help, so please, do freedom a favor and join up with the Confederate Army!

The Senator then received a message from a General in the Army of Tennessee asking for help in terms of gear and equipment, so he pushes for reforms to better arm the Army

Delacroix Plantation
Calhoun County, Mississippi

Image

For as long as there'd been an American South, there'd been the Delacroix Plantation. It was the hub of Mississippian profit -- the beating heart of southwestern agriculture. This place, stained with the salty sweat and crimson blood of countless slaves, was amongst the crown jewels of the Cotton Kingdom. No other mark on God's holy earth could ever match the cruelty that occurred on those vicious fields.

The self-entitled "Madame" Elizabeth L. Delacroix was the black-hearted mistress of the Calhoun throne. She was a creature of ethereal beauty...but the woman harbored no light in her cold, treacherous soul. She was the feudal duchess of the Delacroix Plantation; a tyrant whom took pleasure in utter suffering.

However, the monster wore a mask of class and nobility. She expressed proper mannerisms, carried herself with a feminine and dignified swagger, kept up with the latest fashion trends of the wealthy, and clicked each word with a charming Southern accent. Today's luxurious attire consisted of a French silken dress and a matching cap to protect her fair, porcelain skin from the light of the sun. She enjoyed her daily rides over the lush green fields and woodlands of her property. She loved her favorite horse, a painted mare named Louise, more than any human being she'd ever known.

Madame Delacroix rarely left the premises of her plantation house without an escort of at least 5 slave overseers. The Delacroix Plantation housed nearly 200 well-armed slave overseers. Most of them were blood-drunk cowboys wearing federal bounties over their heads. The de facto commander of the small army, a beastly gunslinger by the name of Utica Hatch, was one such outlaw. His violent nature and twisted loyalty granted him immediate asylum and praise in service of the Delacroix family. Hatch was Madame Delacroix's right hand. He rarely left her side and guarded her with his life. He was almost always amongst her escort.

It was a beautiful day, no doubt. The forests and grasslands of northern Mississippi were untouched by the war...as of yet. The Delacroix Plantation stood as stunning as ever. A horde of 400 African-American slaves toiled in Elizabeth's fields under the merciless cracks of her overseers' whips. The women and elderly strenuously combed through the cotton meadows as the young men hacked away at the Delacroix tobacco stalks. An additional 100 maintained the well-being of the land's infrastructure (including the gorgeous plantation house).

Madame Delacroix herself rode through the southernmost ridges of the property with Utica Hatch and her four other escorts following closely behind her. She halted on a small hill overlooking a central cotton field.

"Mista Hatch," she called. Her voice was such a bizarre mix of soft and horrific. She was sweet and bitter combined. "How goes the production of the negroes?"

"Over four gran' a units, Madame." Hatch responded with a hoarse growl, spitting out a mouthful of slimy tobacco. "Better 'n ever."

Elizabeth paused for a moment, letting a slight grin curl the ends of her moist lips. "Good." She turned back to Hatch and the other four overseers. "Double their workload. We've got a war to fuel."

Delacroix Plantation
Calhoun County, Mississippi

Image

A letter was received by Virginian Confederate officials. The envelope bore the Breton-born seal of the Delacroix house.

To Whom It May Concern,

As a proud citizen of the Confederate States of America and the sole carrier of my noble line, it is my obligation to support my nation in any way that I can.

Therefore, I hereby open myself to requests of aid towards our beautiful country's fight against the oppressive tyrants of the North. It is our duty to win. Please, have Confederate military officials contact me directly by letter or telegram. I will donate whatever I can to our noble cause -- our revolutionary cause.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth L. Delacroix

Elizabeth's chilling label, "Bloody Liz," had been popularized for a reason -- legends of her deviant brutality were told throughout the nation. The autocrat of the Delacroix bloodline was as vicious as Hell's most vile demons. Elizabeth was an opportunist. She utilized the slave trade to satisfy her relentless addiction to inflicting suffering.

One would never guess the she was such a beast within. The young woman was indescribably beautiful; her pale skin as flawless as porcelain, her long black hair as soft as silk, her figure carved to a petite and hourglass perfection, her eyes as deep as the ocean blue. And what an intelligent lady she had become! Madame Delacroix was as fluent in French as she was Southern English, and she could identify nearly every Western philosopher and theory of the past millennium. Knowledge was an obsession that had hooked itself to her mind. Education measured the value of the individual, and Elizabeth considered herself a woman of utmost worth in every aspect.

But she did not process human emotion. Sympathy, love, kindness, and care were all but unknown to her. Pleasure, though, was something Delacroix was well acquainted with. It was something she could only gain through the horrific torture of her human property.

The legends were true -- all so terrifyingly true. Elizabeth inflicted chaotic agony upon her helpless victims. Every day, she'd have another slave dragged into the pits of her underground dungeon to suffer. Men, women, or children...it did not matter. All that mattered was that her need for anguish was fed.

Oh, and that need was so well-fed.

"Hello, my sweethearts!" Elizabeth called with a soft-hearted giggle as she stepped into the stone halls of the dungeon beneath the plantation house. She removed her cap and the silken ribbon in her hair. "I missed y'all so dearly! Did you miss me, my darlin's?"

The corridors, lined with prison cells, suddenly echoed with the cries of her victims. She unleashed a manic cackle as she slipped towards a cage at the east wing of the complex tunnel networks. Imprisoned within was a young slave boy no older than 5 -- just forced into the dungeon that morning. Elizabeth glared into his eyes with a fiery grin. "Why not start with you?"

To the Esteemed Lady Delacroix,

My name is Patrick Cleburne, Lieutenant General in the Confederate States Army. I write to you from the victorious field of battle in Missouri. My men and I have the sacred duty and honor to defend our Mississippi River bordering states. While we are the men in the field, the burden of victory does not rest solely upon our shoulders but also upon those of the great peoples of the South, especially those of such breeding as yourself.

We can fight till the end of days but we can't survive just on our will to fight. The men need arms, ammunition, and food. If you can spare some supplies to send to our boys, I, and the Confederacy at large, would be much obliged.

Sincerely,
Patrick Cleburne,
Commander,
Army of the West,
Confederate States of America

Delacroix Plantation
Calhoun County, Mississippi

Elizabeth had emerged from the shadows of her torture chambers drenched in the blood of her prey. Her hands, stained crimson with flesh and gore, gracefully lit a long pipe (stuffed with priceless Delacroix tobacco) as she stripped naked in her private chambers. Her beautiful, delicate figure slipped into her steaming bathtub with a cloud of smoke puffing from her lips. She softly leaned her head back with a croon of relief. The agonizing screams of her slaves...their desperate pleas for mercy...their prayers to God for death...by the heavens above, she enjoyed it. She loved it. She was infatuated with it.

Madame Delacroix took care to scrub every inch of her body -- to cleanse her skin of "negro blood." After nearly an hour of relaxation, the fair Elizabeth emerged from the soap-laden water as clean as can be. She held the arousing aroma of expensive perfumes, exotic shampoos, and herbal skin remedies that maintained her angelic complexion.

"HELP ME!!!"

"MADAME, PLEASE! NO! NO!"

"WHY MADAME DELA-AHHHHH!"

Oh, their cries of suffering still echoed in her mind. She relished in them. For nearly a half hour, she remained unclothed and meditated in the thought of the sadistic hells she had just inflicted. After achieving unity with her mask of sanity once more, she dressed herself in another exquisite gown imported from London, alongside a cap of matching color. She emerged from her chambers with the confidence of a goddess.

A male house slave, clad in an expensive servant's tuxedo, approached the plantation's mistress with a bow. He presented a letter from the fronts of the war. "My Lady," he addressed. "A letter was received from the Confederate battlefield."

"Merci, my darlin'." Elizabeth replied with a grin, kissing the slave on the forehead as she took the letter. "Now, run off and overlook the maids' duties. You wouldn't wanna be the next toy in my playbox now, would you?"

The slave immediately shook his head, chills rushing up his spine at the mere thought of it. "No, m-ma'am!" he stuttered. "Not at all!"

"Good! Run along now, negro!" Elizabeth responded with a charming giggle. Fortifying herself in the privacy of her study, she unsealed the envelope and received a jolt of joy at the news of the Confederate victory.

At that moment, Elizabeth's pack of ten massive dogs rushed into the room. Most of them were German shepherd mixes, all bred with wider jaws for an even stronger and more lethal bite. The dogs were Elizabeth's most prized possessions. She adored them even more than her mare, Louise. The vicious canines were loyal to their mistress almost to a fault. She had raised them and trained them to follow her every will.

Their primary diet? Slaves. Human flesh. They were as monstrous as Madame Delacroix herself, and she loved them for it.

"My sweets!" she cried as the dogs gathered around her chair with wagging tails. "My beautiful children! Come to celebrate the news of the battle with Mama?" She showered the beasts with kisses as thoughts of the war consumed her mind. She would support the cause with everything she had.

A letter was sent alongside a shipment of supplies.

Monsieur General Patrick Cleburne,

I am honored to have been requested for aid towards our Godly cause. Never surrender. Never end the battle. Fight them wherever you go -- fight them for the South and for the glory and prosperity of our nation!

I have donated a substantial array of arms and supplies to your force. I've also included a small variety of musical instruments and books to boost soldier morale. Continue to keep me informed of the events on the front. Your corps is my primary line of defense against the Yankee oppressors.

Merci, my thanks, for your service to the Confederate States of America. May God bless you, and may His guardian angels protect your men with every fiber of their being!

Yours Always,

Elizabeth L. Delacroix

The Senator was in his office, looking in the letters he had collected from his mailbox, until he found a glamorous envelope that bore an exquisite seal. The Senator had known the seal and had seen it before, but he didn't know where it was from. Eventually, he realized that it was from the incredibly wealthy and influential Delacroix Family. The Delacroix family, interesting thought the Senator as he opened the letter.

Inside the envelope was a snow-white sheet of paper, and on the paper was an aesthetic handwiriting. The Senator read the letter

Please, have Confederate military officials contact me directly by letter or telegram. I will donate whatever I can to our noble cause -- our revolutionary cause.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth L. Delacroix

The Senator then penned a letter back while forwarding the letter to the Confederate Military Command
To: Elizabeth L. Delacroix

I would like to express my gratitude to your generosity for this great Confederacy, and I am sure that our Generals in our gallant army would be elated by your openhanded offer to further enhance the capabilities of this army built in the goal of freedom. As a token of gratitude, here is a flag that you can fly high over your plantation to symbolize this Confederacy of Freedom.

Regards,
Senator Ron Walker

The Senator then folded a beautifully woven Stars and Bars and put it in a large envelope along with the Senator's letter and sent it off the the Delacroix Plantation in Mississippi.

Elizabeth L. Delacroix was, more or less, a woman in a man's world. She had assumed her family's throne as a prince would take on the crown of his nation. The House of Delacroix, an Anglo-Breton bloodline of blessed nobility, was not to be managed by a feeble heiress. Elizabeth, therefore, adjusted to the role she had happily taken upon her father's death. As such, Madame Delacroix took active part in sporting activities. She was a better shot with a rifle than the majority of the South's male aristocratic marksmen. Elizabeth took great pleasure in the hunt...but not without adjusting it to fit her vile desires.

The courageous slaves whom dared to flee the Delacroix Plantation automatically served as her game. No second chances were given. The heartless woman tracked them down like rabbits and brought them to a degrading doom.

One of her field slaves, a young and athletic brute by the name of Antonius, had fled the property in the dark of the previous night. With the aid of Elizabeth's pack of dogs, several dedicated overseers were able to trace the runaway man to a creek on the northernmost borders of the plantation -- deep within the thick wilderness of the outskirts. It was dusk. The sun's light was dimming away. It was as if the coming night foreshadowed the approaching death.

Hatch was quick to lead his mistress to the slave's place of hiding. Antonius had huddled himself in a boulder fortification beneath a small waterfall. Elizabeth's ten massive dogs barked and snarled ferociously with foam at their jaws. They were collectively held back by several henchmen, whom stepped aside for an armed Elizabeth to get a clear shot at her target.

She wore an expensive huntswoman's jacket, a pair of rider's trousers, and a matching pair of boots. She wielded a shining Henry repeating rifle recently purchased from Virginian manufacturers.

"He been here long, Mista Hatch?" Elizabeth asked Hatch.

Utica turned to one of the overseers holding back the dogs. "How long he been here, Barney?"

"Mmm...'bout a hour, I reckin'." the man called Barney responded.

"Please, Madame Delacroix," pleaded the shivering voice of Antonius to his mistress. "I'm beggin'...let me come back! I made a mistake! I'll gladly take a lashin'! I promise, I'll stay! Please, Madame Delacroix!"

With a blazing glare and a sickening smile, Elizabeth pulled the lever action, aimed, and fired. The bullet struck Antonius between the eyes, blasting through the back of his head and splattering gore over the boulders. The man's body slumped into the mud, lifeless.

"A fine shot, Madame Delacroix." Hatch commented with a short clap.

Elizabeth turned to the pack of dogs. "Eat up, my little children." And with that, the overseers released the snarling monsters from their leashes. They descended upon the corpse of Antonius like beasts from the pits of Tartarus, devouring every ounce of flesh on the body. Blood sprayed everywhere. Delacroix giggled and began heading back to the plantation with her escort. The other henchmen only watched in awe. "Have the bones cleaned up by mornin'." she ordered.

"Yes, Madame Delacroix." Hatch replied.

Senator Alexander Mueller
Outskirts of Washington D.C.

Alexander only flinched at the sound of gunfire. The bullets could be heard by the human ear as a Ra-tatat-tata-tatat-ta as two men worked next to the gun.One man cranked a lever while the other aimed and held a hand over the cartridge of bullets protruding from the top.The barrel of the machine released a puff of smoke as bullets screamed out and steam overflowed as the gun heated. Finally, the firing stopped as a sound like a piece of metal was suddenly stuck between two gears. The men fell back as the mounted gun suddenly exploded with a dry and arid BANG.The barrel was torn in half with a small fire beginning to light. One of the men cried out as he held his hand to his view and saw through the 3 inch hole in his hand.Doctors scrambled to him and took him away.

The crowd murmured in panic and awe.Alexander then took the stage as the host was too stunned to speak.

"Now,now,I know what you're thinking but he will be fine.As for the gun, this was not a complete failure. This just shows why the Gatling Gun needs support from the populace and the government."

A voice from the crowd then yelled out.
"Why should out boys have to deal with some exploding gun? They'd be better off without that cursed machine!"

Alexander looks at the ranks of the crowd and finally spots his critic. He hesitates for a few seconds before continuing.

"That battle from a few days ago.The battle could have been changed if the weapon had been in service. No,it would have, actually. As for the incident-

He motions toward the flaming gun being put out by men with buckets of water.

that is just a prototype. The finished gun will be flawless.Just imagine this demonstration but instead of straw dummies as targets, real confederate soldiers. The enemy ranks would be turned to rubble.Literally."

The crowd, once again, enters into a series of murmurs and after a few minutes of it,they began to talk positively and approved the weapon.

"Now,I want to invite you all to another demonstration next week at the same time here.A much better weapon that I know you'll like....."

To the Esteemed Lady Delacroix,

Once again I write to you in a moment of triumph. At this very moment I am in the capitol building in St. Louis seeing the error of Missouri's neutrality rectified. The Lincolnites who have voted again supported the Confederacy have been asked to step down. I don't anticipate this being the most popular move with the Unionists in this state so I fear I will be bogged down in Missouri for quite some time.

I pray that the supplies you sent will arrive soon, take heed, Union forces are likely behind my lines. My cavalry will try to escort your wagons when they approach but until then I pray for a safe journey for them and prosperity for yourself.

Sincerely,
Patrick Cleburne,
Commander,
Army of the West,
Confederate States of America

Senator Ron Walker
Richmond, Virginia

"SIR!" shouted an aid as he hastily rushed to the desk of the Senator
"What is it Richard"
Richard gasps for a while before he catches up with his breath
"The Frenchmen...they have been raiding South-Eastern Virginia, but on the bright side, we are winning in Manassass and we have taken Missouri"
The Senator sighed and thought to himself. He then said "We need to raise at least two Corps to thwart the invasion, if we can't stop them, they might reach Richmond".

The Senator, later on the day proposed a new bill to the Senate, one that will raise two temporary Corps to thwart the invasion of South-Eastern Virginia and send the Union forces back into their lands, while also pushing for more supply for the Confederate Forces

George was a busy man, on this fine morning he had already collected rent, organised the selling and donation of Arms and supplies to the Union. What he was truly happy about though, was his new horses. His childhood dream was to live a full life, with his family, friends and horses. Now had finally managed to check off Horses from the list. He heard of the Union victory and wondered if he was affecting the war at all. Surely he could do greater good at his factories rather than fighting. Couldn't he?

Delacroix Plantation

Dawn was the birth of a new day -- a new beginning for Elizabeth Delacroix's reign of terror. Her hundreds of slaves were forcefully dragged from their quarters. The overseers thrust them into the fields to work in the harsh, unforgiving sun under the crack of the whip.

Elizabeth, however, enjoyed the luxuries of an aristocrat. She'd donned a ravishing Parisian gown and had her hair woven into an elegant Victorian fashion that magnified her beauty to a supernatural-like status. She sat upon the well-polished porch of her plantation house, flipping through the pages of Samuel A. Cartwright's "Diseases and Peculiarities of the Negro Race." A long wooden tobacco pipe gracefully hung from the young woman's lips, spewing small puffs of smoke with every passing second. It was unusual for well-born ladies of the era to take up the habit of smoking. Perhaps it was Elizabeth's form of defiance against the strictly patriarchal culture of the American South. Regardless, the pipe only seemed to grant a certain enhancement to her attractiveness. It didn't appear out of the ordinary to any that would lay their eyes upon the "Delacroix Duchess."

Her entire pack of dogs accompanied her on the porch. Having been freshly bathed and groomed, the beasts faithfully rested upon the floor around their mistress's feet. Their breathing was heavy...deep...monstrous.

Utica Hatch's boots suddenly clomped up the steps towards the house's entrance. All ten of the dogs' heads lifted with their shining teeth bared, but they immediately calmed upon realization of Hatch's identity.

"Well," Elizabeth began, pulling her pipe out of her mouth and placing her book on her lap. "Good mornin' to you, Mista Hatch."

Hatch tipped his hat out of respect to his employer. "Madame Delacroix." he greeted. "Sun's shinin' brightly today."

"Oh, it truly is." She ran her hand over the nearest dog's coat, prompting the creature to let out a soothing yawn. "We received a letta from Missouri. Our boys got a grip on the state capital. Dieu merci. War's tippin' in our fava...despite the Frenchies' rape a the Carolinas. Have you raised the Confederate flag gifted to us from the Richmond senata?"

"Aye, Madame." Utica replied with a nod, placing his hands on his hips and gazing out at the plantation's vast cotton and tobacco fields. "Flag's up high."

Elizabeth returned to reading her book. "Magnifique." She placed her pipe back between her lips, taking a long, flavorful drag. "Downright wonderful."

To Madam Elizabeth Delacroix,

Madam Delecroix, your name has gathered great admiration amongst our boys in recent days for your incredibly generous philanthropic donations to the southern cause. I write to you today to humbly request a small contribution. As of late our glorious army has achieved great sucess, and have suceeded in routing federal forces at Masassas Station. Our brave boys have fought with unbelievable valour, and will continue to do so with renewed vigor. However our resources are dangerously low, and we require provisions to continue the war effort. Any donations would be greatly appreciated by our boys, as well as the southern cause.

Warm regards,
Lieutenant General Theodore Pendleton.

Elizabeth was encased in her study by towers of European literature when Utica Hatch arrived with Pendleton's letter. The news of the Confederacy's success in Virginia warmed her heart. But she knew the importance of her own position. As a social elite, she was beyond obligated to assist in every way she possibly could -- and she was more than happy to do so.

"They request equipment, Mista Hatch?" she murmured with a giggle. "Then we shall give them equipment. The eastern lines are essential to an offensive on the Union capital. If we take D.C., the Union will topple on itself."

"Couldn'ta said it betta myself, Madame Delacroix." Hatch responded, removing his hat and granting the lady a respectful bow.

Elizabeth nodded, flashing a pearly white smile. "I know you couldn'ta."

Esteemed Lieutenant General Pendleton,

I am elated by your success in the east. You have brought me indescribable joy, and I intend to show you my humble thanks. I am sending a substantial donation to your corps with this letter. Please, do share this equipment with your fellow Confederate factions battling the Yankee tyrants in Virginia. Push them into their lands...into their cities...into their homes...into their coffins!

Rape the lands of the Union north as they have done to ours! Crush them!

Glory to the South! Merci, my thanks, for your service to our great nation! As I did with my donation to the Army of the West, I've included several crates of musical instruments to boost your soldiers' morale to whole new heights. My God bless you, and may His guardian angels defend your men with every fiber of their being!

Yours Always,

Elizabeth L. Delacroix
