Pacific Rim Interest

Hello everybody I was wondering if anybody would be interested in a Pacific Rim RP.If you don't know what pacific rim I recommend you watch it or just look at this(warning spoilers)http://pacificrim.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline .


Anyways my idea was to do the RP early in the war with the Kaiju about 1 year after the launch of the Mark 1s.I was also thinking that there should be a story instead of just waiting around for the next Kaiju to come along.Maybe a convert team of Jaegers who are sent to Africa or some other desolate part to fight a Kaiju that is extremely dangerous and the operation is secret due to the public outburst if anybody is to know.Those are just some ideas I have come up with but we can always change it.Thanks for looking.

I suppose that each player needs to run the pilot-pair of a Jaeger?

Other options:

1. Kaiju Masters open a new dimensional rift.
2. An unknown Race that was forcing the Kaiju Masters to invade Earth opens a new dimensional rift.
3. From a secret location, Hannibal Chou, for reasons known only to him, begins creating and unleashing Kaiju on the world (perhaps to keep it ready against invaision, perhaps to conquer, maybe owns stock in companies that make Jaegers and replacement parts).
4. Earth decides to invade the world of the Kaiju.

Personally I think I'd be a fun concept for everyone to make single characters then, once we're about to start we can assign each one a number and then, using a random number generator, we can randomly pair people that are 'drift compatible'. But two people could always make siblings if they wanted a more or less experienced rper paired with them immediately.

Well otherwise it's just another mech RP, in this the neural bridge could possibly be the telegram system, it's faster than regular posting and is private so only the sender and receiver can read them.
