Name: Gerald (Calls himself that. Actual name unknown)
Age: 40 (Actual 57)
Nationality: Unknown
Occupation (if applicable): Unknown. Currently unemployed and homeless
Height: 6'3"
Weight: 170 lbs
General Appearance/pic:
Image

His hands are a pale bluish white. He covers them with special gloves.
Powers/abilities:
1. Soulsucking (Just a name. Souls don't have to exist for it to work): Gerald has the power to drain the life force (energy or whatever) and memories from beings. This is his only offensive power. Memories don't just include what people remember, but their personality, quirks, skills, and even their identity, all of this becomes part of him. The skills he gains randomly manifest; Sometimes he can do carpentry, while other times he can catch a gator. The life force he drains applies to his powers below. He can only drain beings through his bare hands, so he has to get up and close to drain. When draining someone, it paralyzes the target completely. It takes about 10 seconds to drain someone fully (IE dead). He can partially drain people, taking some memories and life force. Even a quick brush from his fingertips will drain someone of a memory and energy.

2. Stagnated age: The life force he drains keeps him from aging beyond forty, the age he got his powers. This only applies if he has life force in reserve. If he runs out of life force, he will age to what he supposed to be, body and all. If he gets more, he will slowly revert back. If he isn't careful, he can die of old age or anything else due to poorer physique.

3. Mimicry: Using the memories of people he drained, he can become the person physically. Voice, body, prints, emotions and all that. He becomes the person. This uses up life force. He can only doe full mimicries if he drained the person fully. If not, he can only do partial mimicries, which can be anything from partial body shaping, partial voice, or partial prints.

4. Teleportation: Basic teleportation. He can teleport consistently to about 100 feet away. Maximum (which he set) is 3 miles, which will drain a lot from him. Sometimes he will teleport randomly, but this is rare now.
Weapons (if any): None.
Personality: He is a reserved and self-centered person. He cares little for others, mostly caring about himself and his goals. Rarely forms bonds or works with people. Will only work with people if it meant his life was at stake (and he can't weasel out) or if it advances his goals. Will use people. Has an increasing view of people as fuel. Little compassion. Increasingly insane. When alone, he will mutter to himself about memories and people. For some reason, he won't attack children. If in a fight, he will let others do the work unless it directly impacts him (IE, someone three feet away and wanting to pounce on him). He writes in a journal, recording thoughts and memories and keeps tabs on which are his and which aren't. He also scribbles, doodles, make paper airplanes, etc with his journals.
Likes: Dogs, seclusion, tea (hot and iced), McDonalds, money (who doesn't), beds, shelter, his coat, his beard, turtles, ostriches, California
Dislikes: People, dying, thai food, birds, memories, coffee, shaving, exfoliating, republicans, indians, mud, mosquitos, alarms, California
Bio: Gerald's first memory was him waking up on the sidewalk in some city in america; not knowing what happened, where he was, and... who he was. Amnesia. All of his memories gone. The only thing he could remember is laying down in a group of trees, a grove, in some place next to a young girl who he couldn't remember. Someone came up to him to help him up, grasping his hand to lift him on his feet. That's when he discovered his powers. With a corpse in front of him and full of all sorts of memories that weren't his, he ran off. Not long after, he teleported to some other place in the city.

For the past 17 years he has been wandering around, looking for the grove. He believes he can find out who he was there. Over the years he has gained control over his power, possessing a pair of gloves that prevents him from draining people as long as he wears them. He has drained hundreds of people, using their life force as fuel and their memories becoming part of him. He has become increasingly insane because of the thousands of memories held within him. He can barely remember his own actions, mostly remembering the actions of other people he drained. For some memories, he thinks they are actually his. He spends his nights thinking about the memories, wondering which are his and which are not. He randomly does little things like whittle or sing or play a tune. This is from the skills when they manifest. He usually doesn't remember doing them later. He has several journals on him which holds records of his thoughts and memories. All of them are in a varying degree of quality as he sometimes does other things with them besides bookkeeping; things like doodling, scribbling, airplane making, origami, etc. Like before, this is caused from when skills randomly manifest.

Current location/situation: In Paris, France. He is looking for a grove of trees around the city. He arrived in Brest weeks ago and has been traveling along the countryside and cities.
RP sample: GAMA, PL

Woo... That took a while. Yell at me if there is something off or not desirable.

His first two powers are kinda similar to my character's Chronophagia in a way.

Not complaining or anything, just saying, it's something I found interesting. :P

Does Gerald have to be in direct skin to skin contact to drain someone?

How would this apply to those that have several ages of memories and those that are immortal/do not age?

I'm assuming he's like Rogue from X-Men. Except he's not a sexy southern belle. :p

In other news, I think someone cat called me in the grocery store today. I can't be sure since I didn't quite make out what he said, but it sounded like a cat call. :p

It'd probably just take longer to kill them.

Reth would probably take an hour, an angel (like Mel) would take a few days, and Megami, of course, would take approximately the amount of time the universe has existed so far.

Plus one eternity.

No. His bare hands has to connect with a being. Doesn't matter if they are wearing clothes or armor. Hence why he wears special gloves so he doesn't suck people unintentionally.

It will take longer. He never had to deal with anything beyond humans, so the ten seconds applies to them. Long-lived beings and immortals will take longer. He can kill them though.

Also, since their memories becomes his, draining an immortal will push him further into insanity. It's a double-edged sword.

Friendship is magic, and therefore, heresy.
