Appearance: 6'4", average-built Caucasian Russian male, short black hair with mildly long bangs, and very very dark brown, almost black eyes.
Personality: Quiet, though his voice carries great weight when he speaks. Very straight to the point, displays almost no emotion, and solves most problems with brute force.
Strengths/Abilities: Strength, Speed, Damage resistance, Willpower
Weaknesses: Lack of Communication, Loner, Prone to tunnel-visioning.
Short Bio: Always the anti-social type, Marko rarely spoke, no matter who was talking to him. Teachers, students, administrators, it didn't matter. This earned him many enemies, and many more fights. While his size usually helped him, it only encouraged them to gang up on him. His home life was characterized by an always drunk, lazy, and abusive father, and an exhausted irritable mother. He turned to gangs at only the age of 13. He learned to shoot, to steal, to hide, to fight. This truthfully did not help his life, rather made it worse, though he was blind to the truth of it. At age 16, he'd been arrested, and imprisoned for the 3rd time in his life. During a night in his cell, the dreams began. A great creator, this 'Lucen', was prophesized to him by some strange force. The same being showed him the world's current fate, the Ira Dei destroying humanity. It further began to show him visions of demons, and then of one particular demon and himself, as the two beings became fused together. After this, it showed the Ira Dei again, but this time, with the help of him and other demons, they were destroyed. He spent the next 5 months in prison with these dreams, his will finally breaking, and allowing the cohesion of the demon and himself, the contract was forged. And the day after, his birthday, he escaped.
Demon Familiar Name: Kaeo Rivez
Demon Gender: M
Demon Age at Death: 24
Demon Appearance:(Image)
Demon Personality: Similar to Marko, quiet, anti-social, prone to overconfidence, prefers to stand alone, and tends to be sarcastic when he does speak.
Demon Special Ability: Titan: When Kaeo has taken critical (Severe) damage, the willpower of his still-present but hidden human soul surges forward to join his demonic one, creating a large power surge, significantly increasing damage resistance, and power of all attacks.
Demon Weaknesses:
Burnout: A type of personal 'fallout' Kaeo experiences after his special ability has been triggered. The sudden onset and lose of the empowering energy leaves him weakened and exhausted for a notable period of time, slowly recovering. If not allowed full time to recover, Titan will kill him on the third, if not second trigger without full or almost full recovery.
Rage: A short temper causes Kaeo to boil-over fast, his resistance to taunts is low, and the blindness of rage brings him into far more trouble than it solves.
Once Human: Having once been human, and never haven given up his human soul, it will occasionally conflict with his demon being, to the detriment of his physical well-being.
Demon Short Bio: (Short version because I don't quite have it all) Once a human lost to the seas of hell, he ascended above his fellow captive humans to one of the demons himself, by defeating one with its own blade. Seeing the potential for a human this strong as a demon, he was promoted to their ranks.

I'm actually a tiny bit interested in how one would emasculate a WWII veteran who went into battle with a longbow, a claymore (the sword, not the explosive), and a set of bagpipes, and was once released from a German prison camp and walked 150 kilometers to Italy. Unless you meant literally, in which case...ew.

Red Demon Bonus:
+ Holy weapons (Or powerful attacks) hitting the armour thrice, instantly destroys it. Too much fire from small arms fire can also cause it to be destroyed.
+ Greatly increases wearers survivability (Increasing DUR by +4) and increases strength (Increases STR by +2)
-Once destroyed, the armour is mental "repaired" This process takes roughly 30 minutes during a peaceful situation and an hour during combat or times of stress.
- Also, her armour can only be sustained for five minutes
-Also, while being repaired, Miranda takes a hit to her speed (-1 to SPD)
+Finally, Miranda may now summon two energy constructs at a time, Weapons, Shields (Which follow the same rules as her armour) and other such things that would be available to medieval knights.
Red Demon Element: Earth

Character name: John "Jackie" Friedman
Gender: Male
Age: 19
Appearance:(Image)
*another picture without shoes or coat, but has the whole body shown*
Differences: His eyes are hazel, with a brown inner part of the iris and a shiny green outer part of the iris. The pupil is obviously circular and black, since he's a human and not some kind of comic character or anything, no siree.
His T-shirt is a light grey.
His shoes are black, laceless combat boots that are slipped on and off, provided that it's intended and a few moments are free to squeeze the tight shoes on or off.
Personality:A skilled analyzer, a cunning thinker, and a charlatan convinced of his own greatness, Jackie is constantly either annoying or helping those around him, but generally acting superior in either case. He's always looking to show off his skills or abilities to those around him to demonstrate the superiority he perceives himself of, although he does understand he's not the best at anything, just "better than all at most" as he puts it. He also can't help but crack jokes, seemingly unphased by most situations normally deemed scary. However, on a more serious note, he respects merit and does not respect those who have inherited their power or otherwise gotten their position "for being useless". He also has a tendency to be fine with not really having friends, and generally mentally objectifies people into being complicated resources and toys instead of people. Probably for the best in the real world, given that he also likes many 'nerdy' activities like cosplaying, gaming, and other stuff in addition to his self-improving activities, both activity groups not exactly being very good for becoming a popular kid.
Strengths/Abilities:Weaknesses:
- Martial Artist: The COOL way to get your cardio and PE in! Also helps in showing off.
- Iron and Collected: Whether it's an insult or a gun in his face, Jackie will remain calm and laugh off anything, staying level-headed even in the face of anger or vision-blurring pain.
- Wits: Like some kind of generic antihero detective, Jackie is talented at analyzing things, people, and problems. Whether he's figuring out how a machine works or how someone's mind works, Jackie can pick things up in a glance.
- Random Access Memory: Jackie knows a whole lot of random things and skills of varying use, such as "bacon sandwiches can help hangovers", "the direction the drain swirls depends on which side of the equator you're on", or even "styrofoam and gasoline makes a crude form of napalm". However, the randomness goes both ways. Some things that are regarded as common knowledge are occasionally lost in this mess, such as what month Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day are in. "I can tie someone up in three different ways in as many knots!" "How the hell does one tie a shoelace properly again...?"
Short Bio:
- Antagonist: Jackie will oftentimes "bite off more than he can chew" and tease and taunt someone who can quite obviously whoop his skinny rear twice over. While he's less likely to risk the wrath of an authority such as a cop, leader, or other figure with 'political' power, he will still annoy his "allies" until the bloody end.
- Stringbean: Jackie can't lift his way out of a pillow pile. He simply lacks human strength and relies on his will and skill to perform physical feats. Magical boosts will be his only salvation in terms of strength.
- No Driving Experience/License: Who needs a car when you have public transportation and feet? Driving a car's just like it is in GTA, right? Right?
Business and pleasure are two things that are often said to be a poor idea to mix. Jackie's upper-middle class parents follow this, and had a child so that, in the unfortunate event of death, legal would be easier and ownership of businesses and properties would remain in blood's hands for almost-guaranteed financial security. His parents are more like close business partners than marital partners, and were also barely present in Jackie's upbringing. He was lucky to inherit his parent's smarts, as that helped him succeed easily in school and grasp concepts, keeping the "funding" for Mr. & Mrs. Friedman's "investment" assured. Jackie was primarily raised by a nanny while younger, but as time went on the nanny went from the role of doing chores and keeping the kid safe to just being there for legal reasons so that Jackie wouldn't be taken away for being alone almost always, although he generally was stuck being alone usually anyways. A bit annoyed with how life seemed spoon-fed, Jackie tried his best to make himself better and gain bragging rights other than those he was handed due to birth. He took martial arts instead of track, he took the harder and cooler obligatory foreign language class of German instead of the easy foreign language class of Spanish, he shot dual pistols at the range instead of doing it the sane way, and more. His intelligence and ambition, combined with his regular "allowance" from his parents, allowed him to get his own money coming in from investments and stocks. He wasn't rich, but he guaranteed that he'd be able return to his class safely if his parents disowned him for whatever reason. Fortunately (if you're cold enough to say so), his parents don't care enough as long as their investment is intact and promising, and usually only check up on him via email. He has graduated from highschool, and is currently living in his house alone, and WAS planning on which college to go to, when fate struck him upside the head.
He began having strange dreams, of the Gnostic cult growing globally and its true intentions. The true nature of reality, and even more. Jackie didn't really care either way about the dreams, but did hope that these dark prophecies were true and not just subconscious nonsense. A war, but not just a war, a war of light and earth, order and freedom, water and blood! The greatest bragging right of all, saving the world and becoming a demigod! When the offer came around, his new familiar was rather surprised at how quick the answer was, barely even letting the demon finish its sentence. Jackie and Walter don't get along very well due to drastic personality differences, however they both have a common overarching goal and Jackie is more than willing to do the dirty work, so the duo can still operate.
Demon Familiar Name: Doctor Walter Gottschalk
Demon Gender: Male
Demon Age at Death: 43
Demon Appearance (note: demons are not butt-ugly beasts. Rather, they look like humans):
Demon Personality:Serious but kind, and highly disliking of violence. Walter has a good heart and tries to do what's right whenever possible, but is very much not happy with the idea of killing due to various reasons in his life. He tends to seem cold and harsh, but he is a genuinely nice person. Foreign customs and chain-smoking don't help him seem much more approachable either. He views his life as a demon as punishment for his evils committed in life. He feels that people have a right to life, and while he doesn't like the idea of fighting "God", Yahovim planning to kill everyone isn't exactly making him the goodguy here so Walter feels he needs to do the right thing.
Demon Special Ability:The user can turn their entirety or parts of themselves into a state resembling smoke or dust. Worn items or held items (within reason) can also be "smoked". The smoke moves at a walking pace, and is fully controllable, but will always remain connected to the user (or just in one piece, if the whole user has assumed smoke form), even if it has to be spread out thinner. The smoke can change color very slowly and starts out as the color of the material it was formed of, but black and faded colors are quicker to form. It is not possible to turn invisible, just hazy due to lack of density, or maybe turn into basic camouflage. In smoke form, things aren't really useful due to not being solid, however it will make dodging easier as objects will go through it, along with the ability to float around being useful for reaching otherwise-impossible locations. At higher levels, perhaps the 'wind' would be faster and stronger, or larger objects would be able to be smoke-shifted?
However, this form is not infallible. The smoke cannot cross salt lines, and will be damaged by holy weapons/attacks. The state cannot be entered during holy recitations, and will be ended in that case, returning the user or items back to their original form.
Demon Weaknesses:Demon Short Bio:
- Pacifistic Preference: What it says on the tin. He very much hates fighting, whether it's himself or another that is doing it. He likely will leave Jackie to do all the fighting, however Jackie's fine with that given his personality. Walter will still not be happy, but he doesn't have a say in what Jackie does with his body, and doesn't really have leverage due to being bound by the pact and not being suicidal.
- Terrible 'Cardio': Due to echos of his past life and it being imprinted onto his mind long after death, Walter is not very athletic or able to do much of anything requiring a strong heartrate. His heart condition also gives him a slightly-grayed skintone.
- Cold Demeanor: Walter usually seems rather cold, usually possessing a dead expression and being poor at nonverbal aspects of communication. Him being foreign also would worsen the situation to Americans and Brits, due to not fully-understanding subtleties and his foreign subtleties not coming across correctly. "I hope this works, cross your fingers!" "...what does crossing my fingers have to do with anything? What?"
Growing up as a child gifted in all attributes beyond anything that could be expected, Walter was quickly the "favorite child". He was raised to be rather polite due to the day and age, and had great expectations upon him due to him being so unusually gifted. All of his family's money was dedicated to getting him through to education, however he was drafted before he could go to one. He was relatively fine with this, and was happy to serve his country. He learned discipline and was quite physically able due to being gifted, and picked up the habit of smoking, but his service was cut short due to being shot through the heart. However, this was not the end for our little soldier, and the natural mechanisms for slowing the graveness of such a wound kicked in. Normally, a human would be able to live in agony for a while, but it would take something greater to live long enough for a primitive medic to fix such a wound and for such crude methods to actually let someone survive. Thankfully, this was no mere human, although he didn't know this yet. Walter managed to survive this notable wound with a permanent handicap leaving him with an almost grayer skintone and an inability to do much physical activity. He viewed this miraculous recovery as being from God, and he dedicated the rest of his life to serving what he viewed as the greater good.
After the war, he and his family managed to scrap enough money together to get him to apply to get a medical degree, and his gifted state allowed him to quickly become skilled and rise up. He eventually graduated at the top of his class, to the ire of the more noble and rich. He immediately had offers to become a doctor in various places, and picked one. He later was approached to perform medical research as he was such a gifted student, and accepted happily as he would be helping the greater good to make the world a better place. However, his facility was broken into by foreigners and he managed to get shot again, this time not being so lucky. Then he found out he wasn't so lucky and gifted thanks to the lord in heaven, but the one of Hell.
In Hell, things weren't nearly as bad as advertised, but regardless of this fact and the fact his religion turned out to be the "wrong" one, he became repentant in death and regretted things he had done in life. He came to very much dislike violence and bloodshed, and valued the right to life of all people. While he does view Lucen for basically being Satan and feels conflicted about being on his side, Walter holds loyalty to Lucen as Yahovim wants to kill everyone, whereas Lucen wants to save mankind and let them be free. Walter wishes to help everyone, so helping save the world, mankind, and the rights of all is not an offer to consider, but an obligation. He was careful about easing his potential host into such a startling revelation that the world is not as things are described and how a great calamity is approaching, as it would be scarring for many teenagers to learn such things. Once he had given all the information he had, he granted his offer, unsure if the child would accept or not. Walter fully understood if the young one would not accept, as it was an impossible task with grave consequences. Walter was rather shocked that the boy barely let him finish his offer before accepting. Him now being chained to an annoying egomaniac is and will be a terrible experience, but this IS after Walter got sent to Hell, so he expects his eternal punishment as not exactly being a joyride.

He is notable for moving and speaking very arythmically, which tends to put people ill at ease.Usually rather calm and kind in a quiet, polite, non-committal way; however, he is very emotionally unstable and prone to snap almost randomly into bouts of murderous violence during which his personality changes very much, becoming completely cold and aloof. He tends to think of extreme violence as a means as valid as any other to reach an adapted goal, and has no second thoughts about murder (though he dislikes torture). A committed moral nihilist, he thinks that no moral system – even that of Yahovim – has any value, that only logic and facts are worthy of respect and that human actions are ultimately dictated by either instinct or whims; he scorns religion in general as an ideology that seeks to force its moral system on people without even trying to justify it. He can be extremely blunt and insensitive on philosophical and strategic issues. Very protective of Boali.Extraordinarily proficient in close combat (he practices several martial arts diligently), he always carries on his person enough concealed weaponry for a platoon; he exercises on a daily basis – not only regular exercising but also things like yoga and gymnastics – and has impressive physical capabilities, including the ability to completely ignore almost any amount of pain; he has no feelings of fear or hesitation whatsoever (literally, it’s clinically impossible for him to be afraid); he works surprisingly well in a competent team, being able to predict competent teammates’ actions and needs and cooperate with them smoothly. As a consequence of his personal philosophy, he is extremely whimsical and doesn’t really have a good motivation for fighting alongside the others, having accepted the contract out of sheer boredom and because it sounded interesting. His psychological instability tends to be jarring or outright dangerous to others, making teamwork difficult until everyone got accustomed to him; it can also land him in trouble for overreacting to benign issues. Given the amount of weaponry he has on him at all times, being frisked by any law enforcement agency would land in him deep trouble. His bluntness towards others’ feelings and lack of respect for their personal beliefs can lead to frictions within any group.
He is also completely incompetent in the use of modern technology, being barely able to use the Internet. He cannot drive.Clarence was born in war-torn Eastern Europe under the name Aleks. His mother died giving birth to him; he grew up under his father’s regular drunken abuse, in a slum where violence was not a social issue but everyone’s default state of being. At the age of nine, he killed his father in self-defense and was sent to a religiously-funded orphanage, which turned out to be a recruitment ground for child soldiers. He was soon taken in by one of the many small armies tearing the area apart and trained in infiltration and close combat, with the aim of making him part of a specialized urban warfare unit.
This continued until he was thirteen, at which point he was wounded in battle and abandoned on the spot by his retreating allies. Doctors from an international organization, the McAllister couple, found him dying and saved his life; they went on to bring him with them to the USA and officially adopt him, giving him his new name.
He then proceeded to live as normally as he could until he started having strange dreams about God destroying the world and his help being required. His foster parents had been killed when he was seventeen by Islamist radicals in Afghanistan, so he didn’t have a reason to stay safe anymore, and he was bored out of his mind, so he accepted the deal.

She has lost her left foot; it is replaced by a wooden prosthetic, but she still cannot walk well.Generally quiet and very shy, she is actually bright and affectionate once you get to know her. She looks up to Clarence as both a father and a brother figure, is very possessive of him and is usually found clinging to him (often in strange postures): she has lost a foot to the landmine that claimed her life, and therefore cannot easily walk unassisted. The reason why her foot did not grow back in Hell is unclear; the landmine, an artisanal model, might have contained shards of a relic or some other holy element (probably unbeknownst to its maker). Boali is unusually intelligent and cultured for her age, having spent most of her time in Hell reading (after learning how to do it); she also isn’t very sensitive to fear, having absolute confidence in Clarence’s ability to protect her. She is the only person who can control Clarence during his bouts of insanity. She loves manga and anime, and often makes references to them in her (surprisingly snarky) humor.Banshee: Boali can create an approximately anthropomorphic (though faceless, clawed and overly tall, thin and lanky) being that is a concentration of the demonic power she infused in Clarence: this being can consume magic (including holy magic) by touching it, sense magic and manipulate it like a physical object, transmit data to Boali, communicate telepathically as a proxy for Boali and is much more mobile than a human, being able to jump extreme distances and stick to walls, ceilings and such. As of now, only one banshee can be created and controlled at a time; if it is destroyed, it can be created again instantly. The banshee can also regenerate from magical damage at the same speed as Clarence regenerates from mundane damage.
Boali is also a bit unusual in her default powers: she doesn’t boost Clarence’s physical power very much, but enhances his regenerative abilities tremendously. The banshee has several weaknesses. Firstly, it is a purely magical being, and therefore cannot influence mundane matter. Secondly, its magic consumption is limited: it can overload and be destroyed (as of now, one negligent attack by an archangel would obliterate it). It can presently only be controlled and maintained as long as it isn’t cut off from Boali by anything denser than rain; if such a thing happens, the banshee is destroyed. All the sensations of the banshee are transmitted back to Boali, including pain, which can be difficult to handle. The banshee disintegrates over time, and cannot be maintained (as of now) for over half an hour. It is physically weak, being unable to manipulate large amounts of magic.
The power’s greatest weakness, however, is that it mobilizes all of Boali’s power: therefore, while the banshee is active, Clarence loses his contractor powers entirely. They come back to him instantly when the banshee is destroyed.
Boali herself is physically very weak, and indeed unable to move correctly. In combat, she typically remains hidden within Clarence. There isn’t much to say. Boali was born in Sahel while a civil war was, as usual, raging. She was a child of rape, and her mother tended to neglect her; her father (that is, her mother’s husband) was killed in battle when Boali was barely two months old. When she was seven, she stepped on a landmine and died. Her dream was to become a doctor.

If you reread the introduction on Demons and Hell, I wrote that Demons are either Nephilim (read the intro on that, though they are a form of Angel Spawn), or they were humans that sold their souls to Lucen through the signing of a blood contract. Also, Hell is just like Earth, its not a place where captive souls are tortured by demons. Basically, its a continuation of your previous life, with relatively few changes.
Yep, that's what I get for writing this after a couple days of not reading
Now I'm having a complete block as to how to write it. I have the idea, just no way to put into words quite yet.
