Mass Effect: The New Storm (OOC+Signups)

Its has been 6 years since the Galaxy defeated the Reapers. For 6 years, the Galaxy has been rebuilding what they lossed in the war that was not about race, or religion... but survival.... this is the outcome of the Reaper War:

Commander Shepard chose the 1st option given to him. He used the Crucible, used the Catalyst, to destroy the Reapers. At first, many believed he had died on the Citadel... but he did not. He awoke on the tattered ruins of the Citadel.... he had survived.

We was reunited with the Normandy Crew, which was stranded on a moon somewhere. He married Ashley, and they moved to Eden Prime, where they settled down, along with the rest of the crew.

As I was saying, in the 6 years since the war, the Galaxy has mostly repaired what it had lost. The Citadel was repaired and is in full operation. Much of Earth, Palaven, and other Warzone Planets are almost repaired. The Fleets of each Race are mostly repaired, as well as all the Mass Relays across the Galaxy.

Now, in 2188, the Galaxy is in general peace. Shepard and Ashley live a happy life on Eden Prime, while EDI and Joker live on the Citadel. Urgent to return to a peaceful life, Javak decided to move to Eden Prime with Shepard and Ashley. The rest of the crew went either home, or were put into different military duty. The SSV Normandy SR-2 was repaired, and is always docked in the Citadel.

All is peaceful in the Galaxy, or so we thought. In our long time preparing, an old enemy has again arisen... Cerberus.... Recently, they have chipped away at the Alliance Fleet, ambushing them. They have also launched many raids on Terminus Systems and one failed one on Palaven. The Alliance does not know what to do....

*This RP will be based off Race. You will fill out an App, claim your Race in the Galaxy, and RP. ONE person can be Cerberus, and others can make SMALL groups. Characters are urged*

Bio:

Garan was born on Palaven, where his father was a high ranking General in the Turian Navy. When he was 15, he was sent to Boot Camp where he spent the 4 years training to be an officer. He was then transferred to the Citadel as a Military Advisior to the Turian Embassy, most believe this to be nepotism on the fact that his father signed the transfer form, but those beliefs soon faded when the Citadel was attacked by the Geth and Sovereign. He was luckily not aboard a ship when the assault began but none the less quickly helped organize the defense of the Turian embassy against the Geth. After the attack he was given a medal for single-handedly destroying 8 Geth troopers without any help… He was soon promoted, and was told to assist with the "Clean-up" of the Reaper craft, but in reality they were gathering debris to reverse engineer the Reapers weapons. He played a substantial part in the development of the Thannix Canon, which is currently fitted on all Turian ships.

After there Thannix canon was created he was sent to Earth to act as an Ambassor there… He is distrustful of Humans, as he was once mugged there… He successfully worked with humans on developing the Normandy SR1, which was destroyed by a Collector attack… He blames the pilot for failing to avoid the blasts…

During the Reaper invasion, he was luckily off of Earth at the time and was saved. Once it was understood that General Victus was the new Primarch, he served faithfully as a human expert and also assisted heavily with tactics. He also was lead researcher on any Reaper artifacts and debris that the Turians would capture… He currently has a very valuable artifact from Sovereign, which is a piece of his armor inscribed with the lyrics of the Turian Anthem "Die of the Cause".

Primarch Victus retired from the Primarch position after he said, "I have won my last battle, I have served my race, and I have saved the Galaxy. My work here is done." He is often mis-quoted by a comment he made to his aide when he stepped of the podium. He supposedly said, "Now it's time for a nap."

In honor of his service, Garan Popolos was named Primarch of Palaven and Leader of the Turians. He may be a scientist, but he is a military man at heart. After the dissolvance of the treaty that limited Dreadnought production, he increased spending on the Navy, and now has 51 Dreadnoughts with 15 more in construction… He has a distrust of every race, but never shows it. He always acts like he loves everyone and is glad to see you…

Info: Shield was founded by the remainder of Shepard crew by order of the council, James Vega grew into a fantastic leader, with Garrus in charge of unite training, Liara head of the science division, Grunt in charge of discipline training Tali'Zorah vas Normandy building their specialized vessels, Jack in Botics training, Kasumi and Miranda in charge of intelligence and stealth operations, Jacob in charge of ethics training (The way Shepard thought him). There goal is to protect council space and all innocent life should a darkness like the reapers return, untill then they target rouge government's, pirates terrorist and slavers along with science missions to progress high level technology

Bio: Miles was with Shepherds crew since the beginning, though he was just a lowly grunt when they first went to Eden prime he fought with the crew (even switching sides to Cerberus to do so on occasion) all the way up to the final battle at earth, wear he stayed with the crew of the Normandy and almost died protecting them. He revers shepherd and is loyal to his crew and friends to death.

perhaps relations cooled a bit after the Reaper War and they didn't have a united threat anymore, Geth Territory is vast after all; Everything beyond the Veil so they need not stay within the borders of Rannoch to be a viable faction. So while i would say their need not be any war between them and their creators i would also say their need not be any intrinsic motivation for them to be bonded at the hip allies either.

Ok. And they most likley would have bonded from the war, and trade could have increased. Basically all but Cerberus are in the Alliance, but certain areas are neutral
