Leader: President Zhuren Yaolai is the head of state and government, but recently, most likely due to the crisis, General Duoluo Mentu has begun to express interest in taking over as head of state, on ocassion even challenging Yaolai a few times.
Government type: Social Democracy (De jure) Corporatist Oligarchic Republic (De Facto) though the outbreak has managed to somewhat unite the Upper and Lower classes on a small but growing scale, much to the former's chagrin
Government ideology: Though officially an Egalitarian Democracy, in practice, because of their newfound love for Capitalism, the government has shown itself to be a Plutocracy in disguise.
Number of soldiers: 3,220,000 In Total, with about 300,000 in the Navy, 350,000 in the Air Force, and 2,570,000 in the Main Force. The military, over the years, had been sharply decreasing in numbers as the number of reserves seemed to stay at a constant, but due to the apocalypse being underway, the military went towards a full-on end-to-the-earth scramble for fresh new meat, be it through propaganda or conscription. There are less and less soldiers in the reserves as more and more are assigned to control the outbreak and maintain order. So it goes to say that the reserves are no longer existent, because nearly every available soldier in the country (excluding those in training, on leave, or injured) is active in some way for the moment. The military, however, doesn't seem in the best of moods to try and save the world. Many soldiers talk of desertion or the pointlessness of fighting a lost cause against mother nature. Also, due to the shrinking number of personel over the years, the military had gone desperate and resorted to prostituting itself to a good number of corporations and private armies to increase their manpowerso it shoudn't come to a surprise that a good number of soldiers will want to unwind and settle in for a good raping or looting after they finish the job. There are also an estimated 1,500,000 in the National Police Force, whose main concern for the moment is to aid the military in controlling the outbreak and maintaining order.

How you plan to prepare for the Zombie Apocalypse: Gee, I don't know, lemme go ask that huge horde of zombies already within my borders and I'll get back at you. The people weren't prepared to begin with, because they were living in the area where it all started. Several militia groups have been formed to fight the dreaded hordes, but without military and police support, things seem to be for the most part, hopeless. But there is a major government project underway to look for a cure. Well, not really a project, but more like nearly every scientist in the country scrambling through paperwork or frantically running around the lab trying to come up with something. The military is much more prepared, however. The military is cooperating with the National Police Force as well as several Municipal and Provincial agencies nationwide to combat the outbreak. Though not in effect yet, Martial Law has been strongly considered. Mass riots and lootings are underway, especially in areas near the epicenter. The areas already in the epicenter are now unofficially in a state of complete anarchy (and not the good kind) as civilians scramble to find a means of escape and soldiers are torn on whether or not to fight and sacrifice themselves or desert and live.
