Galium is a world full of mystery and full of magic, before the world went to hell they said it was once full of people and full of races. There are few kingdoms left and the dead lands as they are called are slowly advancing their hold on the world. On the continent of Jovaskar there are four powers, The Iscan Empire, Dulvan Kingdom, Ascan City states and Vakan Empire. The dead lands have a way of turning fallen dead into their minions after death. But there is a faction that originates from Jovaskar The High Inquisitional Order, a faction of warriors who fight the dead. People from all over the kingdom flood to the fortress of Sargun to enlist in the Order. While the major powers fight over themselves for land, power and money. All over continents have fallen to the dead land and now the last continent must find a way to defeat this or face the same fate as the others that have tried. But the people of the kingdoms and empires all look towards the Order to help settle this and hopefully get them to join forces and fight the on coming forces. But the dead are not the only thing that comes with the dead land. Corrupted Humans known as Ailr sail to the continent as well. The world has been stuck in a Midevil era for the last 200 years few things have changed.
The time to act is now, the Inqusition needs people to combat this threat. For they only have a 393 days until the dead land forces reach the continent with their forces. The Inqusition has sent people to every kingdom, Empire, town, city and capital to look for anyone who will join the order and help them with their goal of protecting the continent from certain death if they don't do something about it. They need everyone they can get for the defense of the continent, signs of the dead lands are being seen, a storm in the distance off the south coast of the continent. Lords report attacks by the undead and vampires and lycans roam free and kill people every day.
The conflict has been going on for the last two hundred years now, the final act is about to begin the people are set and the locations are locked by fate. The tide of battle can be turned by even the slightest chance of victory and help. When you are in the dark, look for the light in the darkness and follow it. For if you don't you will never again see the light of day and the world will surely fall to the dead lands and all life will end. Each action taken will affect the outcome of the war.
Religion
All the Powers follow the Church of Barsan. Though the Inquisition tends to stay out of church and political matters that concern any of the Empires or kingdoms. The Church was established by the Prophet Varsan Wanton over a century ago and he preached of the dead lands. The Church also has its own army of clerics who travel through out the lands and bless buildings, families and just about anything. The Clerics are also a military force as they have been on the scene to eliminate the old pagan followers which know worship the old gods in secret. The church does preach tolerance but they do no practice it as they believe that all pagans are a blight on the world. The church has a army of 20 thousand Clerics at their disposal and the current leader of the Church is the Revered Mother Diana who leads the church from the city of Vigil in The Iscan Empire.
Races
Humans-Humans are the most arrogant race in the entire world. They believe that the world revolves around them. The Empire and Kingdoms of Jorvasker are dominated by humans, though humans are humans each power behaves differently and acts differently. But a humans lust for war is only matched by those of the dwarves. Humanity is the world's strongest and largest race as most other races have fallen they have stood the testament of time. They are known for their fighting, armor and weapons. It never ceases to amaze the other races on how many weapons Juan's design to kill one another.
Elves- The Elves come from a continent that was one of the first hit by the dead lands. There were once two Great Elvend Kingdoms, but they all fell to the dead lands after many years of combatting it. Elves are known as the dying eldars as there are So few of them left in the world. The ones that survived sailed for 4 months before reaching Jorvasker and from there they spread out in to the many kingdoms and empires. The Elves brought new armor methods and weapons to the Iscan Empire and now the Empire has a mix between elven-human weapons and armor.
Dwarves-The dwarves have formed their own Empire below the surface of Jorvasker connecting the vast land by tunnels and making them into roads. Dwarves have not been seen in over forty years, all the traders have stopped coming and no one knows why. The dwarves are a fierce race of warriors, masons, Smith's and much more. They hail from a land they do not speak of and they will not say for it is bad luck in their culture. But the Dwarven Empire is full of taverns in which dwarves sing the songs of old and new ones around a mug of Mead or ale.
Orcs- Orcs are a problem in any land, they have pillaged anything and everything in their path. They have no mercy and often rape women and young girls. This warrior rave is nomadic and rarely stay in one place for long. But if they do, there will be he'll to pay as while hamlets and towns are wiped out. They care Nothing for the dead lands and they often embrace it as a good. But no living this is safe from the dead land besides the Alfir.
Alfir- Also known as dark elves these people are commonly thought to have been made by the dead lands. This race is the most deadly servant the dead lands have to use. They have grown a hatred for their realitives as they believe they were abandoned a long time ago. The alfir have one weakness and that is art. They use the blood of their fallen foes to paint the scene of the battle, the canvas is made of skin of the fallen as well. They tend to travel in packs of 5 or 6 but an army of them ranges from 15,000-75,000.
Goblins- This race are the slaves to the orcs. They were conqured almost as soon as the orcs arrived in Jorvasker. Very little is known about the goblins, but they do eat any race that isn't an orc. But we do know that enslaved goblins are the labor force for the orchestra tribes, they majesties camps, cook,clean and many more things. But they are treated as dirt and are often eaten if they do something wrong. Goblins multiply like vermon So there isn't a shortage of them.
The Dwarven Empire
The Dwarven Empire was established sixty years ago. The dwarves are a race full of pride and are superior craftsmen. Though the last forty years, no dwarf that was born in the Empire has been seen. Most believe that the king is dead and his son took over and blocked the entrances. But that isn't the case. The dead lands and dwarves have been fighting in thidea tunnels known as the stone roads. Though no one knows if someone Won or not. But no one on the surface knows what is going on in the Empire or why it has stopped trading.
Iscan Empire
The word Iscan translates to Barbarians, but this has changed over the last several centuries. The Empire was founded 1500 years ago by Warlord Gibic Salvic who believed the Norse way of life to survive was to band together and form an empire. This was not an easy task as there were 6 major clans that would not willingly join together for the better good of everyone over old and long dead disputes of land, food, and murders of family members. It took Gibic's entire life time to unite all the clans under a single banner and on his death bed he reportedly said "With Unification I can finally rest." The Empire is currently lead by Emperor Tyran and his wife Empress Sarah which they have been on the throne for the last four years and the empire has seen a thriving revival of the arts such as music, plays, art and many more things. Emperor Tyran rules with an even hand and is often referred to as Emperor Tyran The Just as he holds everyone to the law even royalty and sees that the right punishment is handed out and not that of execution for the small crime of being drunk and attacking a guard. But sadly he is blind and doesn't see how big of a threat the dead lands. Their major cities are said to have something for everyone from Brothels to churches to inns and so much more and no one matches how clean the streets are of trash and crime.
Vakan Empire
The Vakan Empire comes from the lost continent of Isca which was the first land affect by the Dead lands. They thought nothing of the dead land until they saw what it could do and by that time it was too late and many fled their homes and landed on Jovasker. Few records of the Empire's founding are left and many have been destroyed or damaged during Dead land attacks back on Isca. The few that remain tell of the tale of a hero by the name of Alistair who united the three noble houses of the land and did so with out shedding a single drop of blood. Over the last several years they have been talking to the other power and warning them of what is coming but to no avail besides The High Inquisitional Order which have also seen the damage of the dead lands first hand. These people are also one of the most common groups of people in the Order as they are willing to find the dead lands and know they need to for the damage it will cause when it reaches here. The major cities here are more moral stand point to were whores, brothels and anything of that nature is banned and punishable by exile to Isca or death depending on the circumstance of the crime. Emperor Jackle is but a mere shell of what he once was, he is said to be tainted by the evil of the dead lands as he went from looking his age to appearing to be over a hundred years old. he is regularly seen at night and when he comes out during the day he is followed by a person with a fan and a umbrella to block the light. But other than that he is a just ruler but he has sociopathic tendencies to be paranoid and sends many people to their death over petty crimes when his episodes start.
the Dukan Kingdom
There are no written records of the founding of Dukan as the story goes the great houses of the land united to defend themselves against the Dukan-Iscan War that started three hundred years ago and ended two hundred and fifty years ago. The Kingdom has gone through many Kings as they have either been removed form power by force or another one took their place at the last kings death bed. Dukans are not known for their loyalty and are often mercenaries for hire in other lands. But they are fierce fighters and several have joined the elite group of the Inquisitional Order known as the Black Guard for their talents at fighting. Dukans often refer to themselves as the sons of Barsan though this tends to make them end up in dungeons most of the time. Their major cities are no more than large villages as they have no industry and most of the population lives in small hamlets and follows the old ways of life by bearing the elements. The current Monarch is King Duncan who before he became king was a captain in his father's army, he is a corrupt ruler who only seeks to better his family than any other family. He has taxes raised at an all time high and most of the crops are going towards the military as he fears that a revolt may happen at any time and the Dead land will arrive sooner than people think. Queen Lisa is the opposite of her husband, she believes that they should prepare but taxes should be lower and more crops should be going to the people. she also thinks people should start to migrate into the cities as they can better protect them in the city than outside the city. Prince Darwin is the oldest son of the King and Queen and he has 2 younger brothers and 3 younger sisters. The Prince favors the poor over the rich and commonly seen handing money out to the poor to help them feed their families each day. He has grown a hatred for his father over the last several years as he has gone mad with power and has been hurting the people.
Ascen City States
The Ascen City states were formed by like minded people who wanted an elected government in which two councilors rule the city states with an even hand. People flocked from all over the world before the Dead lands appeared. The Ascenians are known for their libraries and knowledge they have collected over the years. They are often hired to educate the children of the monarchs of Jorvasker. They are often historians, scholars and authors of many books. The people here are tightly nit community where neighbors help each other out when they need it. This is the second cleanest major cities and lowest crime rates in Jorvasker. Brothels and such are banned here as well and the punishment for breaking this law is exile from the City States in which they are to never return. The City states are currently Lead by Councilor Tvan and Satkan who don't see eye to eye at all, so all new legislation has be grinded to a halt and they are often seen fighting about what to do about this issue and what is to be done about this.

Bio: Tiberius is the direct descendant of High Inquisitor Ruban the original founder of the Order. Tiberius has been training all of his life to get prepared for the dead lands and he has been told stories of the horrors of the lands. Tiberius is an expert swords and crossbows and uses them to his advantage. Tiberius was born in the Order's fortress in which he grew up being taught the ways of the order form a very young age. His parents are John Anglo and Ashley Ruban and is the oldes out of any of his cousins. When he was old enough he joined the order and rose through the ranks over the years until his grandfather died and he was to fill his places as High Inquisitor of the Oder.
