Maybe you should send a delegation to Iran.
We already started to improve our relations so why not improve it some more? :)

Being as it is, using the current world map, is a map really necessary? A roster works fine for me, at least

Same here, we all know where the countries are located.. However we do need to keep track of the roster, making sure that all people on it are active.

As The Netherlands, maybe the king could visit iran's leader with Minister of Foreign Affairs Frans Timmermans.

It acutally isn't.

The MP of The Netherlands talked to the Iranian President just a few days ago in RL.

Anyways, i wasn't paying attention and thought he was Saudi-Arabia... But the offer is still standing, Iran needs to improve its relations with tons of countries anyways. ;)

Iran is a (nominally) revolutionary republic. Sending the king would be a diplomatic faux pas.

Perhaps the king would indeed be a bit to much, especially since the relations aren't that great and it would be the first visit since (probably) 1979. Lets do it with the Foreign minister first ;)

The UN thread thing was a joke, maybe an emoticon would have cleared things up. In any case, I honestly don't know what the problem is here. Everyone is just offering their opinions.

What are we actually going to do as Timeline?

Just posing a date with our posts and letting it go along like that or a certain amount of time per page?

Russia isn't a nominally revolutionary republic.

I didn't say anything about union with Suriname, did I?

Official Name of Nation:Kingdom of Spain
Population estimate:46,704,314
Head of State:Juan Carlos I
Head of Government:Mariano Rajoy
Capital City:Madrid

A brief rundown of the military
Army: Following the suspension of conscription the Spanish Army became a fully professionalised volunteer force and by 2008 had a personnel strength of 61,300. In case of a wartime emergency, an additional force of 80,000 Civil Guards comes under the Ministry of Defence command.
Air Force:The Spanish Air Force operates a wide-ranging fleet of aircraft, from fighters to transport aircraft and passenger transports to helicopters. It maintains some 450 aircraft, of which around 150 are fighter aircraft including a number of Eurofighter Typhoons. The Spanish Air Force is replacing older aircraft in the inventory with newer ones including the recently introduced Eurofighter Typhoon and the Airbus A400M Atlas airlifter. Both are manufactured with Spanish participation; EADS CASA makes the Eurofighter's right wing and leading edge slats, and participates in the testing and assembly of the airlifter.
Navy:As of 2013, there are approximately 54 commissioned ships in the Navy (excluding minor auxiliary vessels), including one amphibious assault ship (also used as an aircraft carrier), two amphibious transport docks, 11 frigates, three submarines, six mine countermeasure vessels, 23 patrol vessels and a number of auxiliary ships. The total displacement of the Spanish Navy is approximately 220,000 tonnes. The Spanish Navy also owns another Aircraft Carrier, The Principe de Austurias which is currently in decommission due to defense budget cuts.
Anything else? (Nukes, Chemical Weapons, Missiles, anything that doesn't fit in the other ones) Spain had a nuclear program during the Franco Era. By 1974 the CIA reported that Spain was close to a nuclear bomb which they believe would have been tested in Spanish Sahara but in 1975 Franco died and democracy returned to Spain. The new Government stopped the construction of the bomb but refused to destroy designs for the bomb or reserves of enriched Uranium.

Describe the Government system:Spain is a constitutional monarchy whose government is defined by the Constitution of Spain. This was approved by a general referendum of the people of Spain in 1978. The final interpretation of the Constitution, in the case of dispute, is the business of the Constitutional Court of Spain
There are three main institutions known as the Cortes Generales, which are legally independent:
The general assembly of representatives whose controlling faction forms an executive government and proposes legislative changes
The assembly of senators consider the wider implications and compatibility of proposed legislation
The judicial branch composed of a hierarchy of law courts which ensure that any proposed or imposed executive enforcement complies with Spanish and European law
Describe the economy:Spain has the thirteenth largest economy by nominal GDP in the world, and fourteenth largest by purchasing power parity. The Spanish economy is the fifth-largest in the European Union, and the fourth-largest in the Eurozone, based on nominal GDP statistics. In 2012, Spain was the eighteenth-largest exporter in the world and the sixteenth-largest importer
Describe the state of Foreign Affairs: Spain is in the European Union's G6 and is a permanent invite to the G20. Spain hs territorial disputes with the U.K over Gibraltar and disputes with Morocco due to Ceuta and Melilla, Two Spanish cities in North Africa that Morocco claims. Conflict with Morocco is further deepened due to Spanish support for West Saharan Independence. Spain has also maintained various cultural and Economic ties with its former colonies in Latin America.
Describe the state of the nation internally: (Just how it's doing in general, basically) Spain is slowly recovering from the European Economic Crisis. Unemployment still remains at 20% but the Economy is once again growing.

He's a King with no powers. A minister would go.

I'll get a post up for Russia as soon as I can think of something constructive to write
