IC Synopsis:
Welcome to Mikotōyama Academy (巫女塔山学院| Mikotōyama Gakuin), a prestigious international school in Japan with a not-so-average school body. As a student at Class 501st, your goal is pretty much to survive the torture of school and have fun every way you can. You may or may not have a less than normal past or a crazy family on your back, but at least you're not magic or superpowered (maybe), or in a world invaded by evil aliens that want nothing more than to headchomp you or irradiate your guts. Still, normal is not something Mikotōyama would come to be known for. Be prepared for madness, because it's time for class.

World:
The world is a vastly different place from the space-filling World War I-ish empires of the Strike Witches-verse. Some believe it to be a knockoff of another, more widely popular anime franchise of the 21st Century, but it is more complicated than that. Divided between the age old art of magic and the scientifically-oriented power of science, an ongoing struggle is brewing between the two force for global influence. Thus far, most of the developed world, primarily the United States, had been won over by the power of the Espers, while the fall of Communism in Eastern Europe had brought about a resurgence of magical influence from the religious bodies over the formerly atheist bloc. So far, direct confrontation has been limited to state-to-state conflicts. However, time will tell when the illusion of harmony between the two sides would fall apart in full.

North America
The home of the world's only superpower, North America, under the guidance of the United States, has grown since the 20th Century to become the only esper-majority continent in the world, and the largest population of espers in the world. Driven by the tenets of secular government and suspicion over the religiously motivated institutions of magic, the United States has embarked on a widescale program, Project Eureka, to train and develop espers in the autonomous District of San Jose, on the Western Seaboard. As a result, most of the US, and even neighbouring Canada, had become the first esper-majority countries in the world. Cuba, a former client state of the Soviet Union, also possesses a sizable esper population from the covert Soviet esper program, Project Morana, but lack of funds and the collapse of their Soviet backers had left their training efforts largely to be desired, forcing them to fall back on their largely Catholic magic population for aid.

But large enclaves of Protestant mages, primarily in the Midwest, South and the state of Utah, continue to hold a powerful lobby over Congress for the protection of their institutions, and most Hispanics, in the United States and the virtual entirety of Latin America, remain hostile to the esper program, bowing under the sway by Section XIII, the dreaded exorcist division of the Roman Catholic Church. Nonetheless, espers continue to flourish where many might find persecution elsewhere. So long as Eureka stands, espers will continue to dominate in America. But the mages are fighting back, and time might be on their side this time...

Europe
The birthplace of Christian magistry, Europe is home to the three exorcist divisions of the three largest branches of Christianity - the Roman Catholic Section XIII, the Anglican Protestant Necessarius and the Eastern Orthodox Athos. With the advent of secular government, the strength of the three magical blocs has waved over time, and constant conflict between each other over theological grounds had allowed espers to fill the void. As a result, the traditional strength and power of the exorcist branches had severely waned, and with many countries in Western Europe adopting greater pro-esper policies, esper populations are set to overtake mages by 2030. However, the turmoil of the fall of Communism in Eastern Europe had reopened traditional grounds for recruitment for the three exorcist divisions, and the spike in hostility against espers in those areas, primarily with their association to the Soviet and Warsaw Pact esper program, had rewarded them, mainly Athos, with vast numbers of willing volunteers intent on restoring the primacy of magic in their homelands. It remains to be said how the conflict would develop. However, if the violent conflicts of the Yugoslav Wars and the post-Soviet wars were an indication, the exorcist branches will just as likely fight each other for control over Christendom as they would with the espers.

Asia
A traditional bastion of magic, the powerful influence of Hindu, Buddhist, Islamic and Shinto have long been ingrained into the regions' psyche. Unlike Europe and America, most of Asia remained largely resistant to esper influence, and efforts to propagate the benefits of espers have been drowned out by religious leaders and magic orders. The most resistance has been found in the Middle East, where Sunni orders and the eponymous Shi'ite Hashashin continue to condemn the spread of 'false Western witchcraft' in the region. It did not help that most of their rhetoric had been influenced by Israel's infamous esper program, Project Isaiah, which saw Israel fielding entire divisions of espers in the IDF to utterly defeat the numerically superior, but poorly trained orders. As a result, Asia remains home to the largest concentration of mages in the world.

However, the effects of the Cold War and ideological struggles had left its mark on Asia, where the covert Soviet, American and later Chinese, esper programs had had greater success compared to the poverty-stricken lands of Africa. Owing to the success of the Soviet esper program, Project Kronstadt, Moscow was quick to aid its allies with kickstarting theirs. Similarly, China and the United States has had an influence in boosting the esper programs of allied states with their own projects, Project Nüwa and Project Eureka. Some succeeded, many more were to fail, but while esper numbers still could not compare to the vast numbers of mages, concentrations of espers could now be found throughout East Asia.

Failed esper programs include:

• Project April 15 - North Korea (failed due to lack of funds and priority to WMD development)
• Project Ashoka - India (terminated due to intense resistance from pro-magic Hindu, Sikh and Muslim lobbies)
• Project Shirazi - Pakistan (terminated due to lack of funds and intense resistance from Muslim orders)

Oceania
As with elsewhere in the developed world, the countries of Australia and New Zealand possess extensive populations of espers across its main cities. While mages still make up a slight majority in those regions, the demographics are set to change in favour of the espers. In contrast, most of Oceania's independent island nations remain almost entirely pro-magic, and even in US-controlled Hawaii and Guam, the only espers in those areas are mostly military garrisons from the mainland.

Africa
Heavily Islamic in Saharan Africa, heavily Christian in Sub-Saharan Africa, Africa has the largest percentage of mage to esper ratios in the world, with only one esper to every twelve million African mages in the region. Only South Africa has any sizeable number of espers in the continent following decolonization. Mostly made of Afrikaner and other whites, most espers from Rhodesia, Namibia, and subsequently South Africa, left the continent out of fear of reprisals from the overwhelmingly pro-magic African community. But even within the magical community, tensions between Christian, Muslim and indigenous magic practitioners still prevail, and even within them, mages whose magical art do not correspond to their faith are heavily ostracised. All in all a seriously backward place, with South America at a distant second. One could not help but fear the future of the continent.

Bio:

The elite exorcism unit of the Roman Catholic Church, Section XIII's sole objectives are the spread of the Word of God and the inquisition and disposal of heretics, infidels and demonic agents alike. While the first exorcists of antiquity comprised entirely of xenophobic humans suspicious of the pagan mysticism of non-human beings, the Papacy gradually developed a desire to recruit them into the exoricist ranks as holy warriors in their crusade against pagan and Moorish incursions.

Since the advent of secular government, the Catholic Church has seen its influence eroded by the 'heretical' Protestant sects, and more recently by neo-pagan movements. Plagued with widespread corruption, it appeared that the once famed exorcist corps would soon fall behind its dreaded Protestant rivals, Necessarius. However, the vigour and zeal of its priests remained untainted, and their reputation a constant source of fear for their foes. Regardless of the obstacles, Section XIII is far from finished. With a thirst for heretics and heathens, the zealots of St. Peter are eager to restore Papal primacy in the world.

Bio:

Created by the Church of England after its split from the Roman Catholic Church, Necessarius is the fastest growing exorcist corp in Christendom. Having passed the Eastern Orthodox Athos in memberships, Necessarius has developed into a powerful Protestant bloc, with a highly trained magic corps to counter the Catholic Section XIII.

Officially known as the 0th Parish, Necessarius was formerly tasked with the inglamourous goal of witch-hunting, secrecy and eradication of magic in Britain, though the irony of its magic-adept exorcists were not lost to the clergy, and often left the branch isolated and with a lack of support and funding. Putting them at odds with the vast numbers of Celtic mages in the country, the episodes between the two sides had been bloody and painful. Worse, the Protestant Reformation in England had resulted in massive infighting between the division and English Catholic loyalists, who remained with the local branch of Section XIII. All that had placed their early inception in jeopardy.

In spite of the challenges, Necessarius soon emerged as a power in itself, with the command of virtually the entire Protestant magical community under its call. With their Catholic adversaries in decline, Necessarius seemed poised to take the lead in the entire magical world, but infighting among the fragmented Protestant congregations had eroded the vast network of alliances forged by the Anglican Church since the time of the British Empire. The loss of support and funding in the United States proved most punishing, as many local sects break off and government policy shifted in favour of the espers. Regardless, Necessarius remains strong to this day, determined to withstand the onslaught of its Catholic foes and any who threatens the Commonwealth and the world.

Bio:

Named after one of the holiest sites of Eastern Orthodoxy, Athos is the exorcist branch of the worldwide Eastern Orthodox Church. Comprising of an alliance of autocephalous churches across Eastern Europe and the Middle East, Athos has a far more decentralized command structure than their Catholic or Anglican rivals. Ostensibly under the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, most pledge their fealty to their own patriarchs than the derisively termed 'Turkish puppet'. Of late, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia has held the most sway over Athos by virtue of numbers and Russia's territorial control and influence over Eastern Europe, and has since acted as the de-facto leader of the exorcist division. Nonetheless, some, like the Serbian and Bulgarian Orthodox Churches, have struggled to maintain their independence from the domination of the Russian Orthodox Church.

A Russian Athos exorcist

A long-standing rival of the Catholic Section XIII even before the Great Schism, Athos' authority had been utterly devastated in the 20th Century. While its fortunes were temporarily revived with the rise of the Russian Empire in the absence of the Byzantines, the emergence of the Soviet Union and Communism and its overwhelmingly pro-esper policies had almost wiped out Athos as a fighting force. Its traditional heartlands under constant subjugation by the atheist Communist authorities, it appeared for a time that Athos would cease to exist. However, the fall of Communism in Europe and renewed Eastern European support, allegedly bolstered with ranks from the now-defunct Soviet Magic Operation Bureau, Molot, for the Eastern Orthodox Church had sparked a massive, second revival for Athos. No longer a pale shadow of its former self, Athos was ready to reclaim the legacy of Constantinople in due.

Name of Organization: Special Research Protectorate (Russian: Специальные Разведка Протектората, СЕРП/Spetsyalnye Razvedka Protektorata SERP)
Nation of Origin: Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic/Soviet Union

Bio: A seemingly bad euphemism with an innocuously symbolic acronym, SERP (Russian: Серп, Sickle) owes its beginnings in the chaos of the Russian Civil War. Facing a magically-empowered White movement, the Soviet government in Petrograd had little in the way of resisting their enemies. With the full backing of Athos behind the Czarist cause, the Soviet government developed a paranoia for magic in general. In addition, the Molot (Russian: Mолот, Hammer) initiative, meant to develop a new style of 'revolutionary' magic for Soviet-aligned mages, failed to take root despite its relative success in countering the Czarists. In the end, the intellectuals campaigning for a new esper program to mirror the success of the West won out, and Project Kronstadt was initiated. But Serp was anything but a simple research project. It was a full department of the Red Army, dedicated to the training of entire esper armies to spread the world revolution across its borders.

Following the end of World War II, Serp had by then developed into an integral part of the Soviet war machine. Its success in the Great Patriotic War against Nazi Germany overshadowed those within the now declining Molot unit. In the ensuing power struggle, most of the mages of Molot found themselves sidelined, as Serp exerted its brand of 'scientific socialism' to Moscow's client states. Consequently, Serp's efforts effectively overturned the demographics of many Soviet-aligned countries, and prompted an 'esper' race with the United States and NATO which threatened the existence of magic in general. However, all that changed once Communism fell apart across Eastern Europe.

As the Soviet Union dissolved, so did the fortunes of Serp. Many of its daughter organizations in Eastern Europe were quickly absorbed into its rival NATO counterpart and others were abolished outright on the demands of the Christian exorcist departments. Worse, the organization is facing increasing restrictions under the vehemently pro-magic President Vladimir Putin. An ex-Molot mage and werebear, the leader of Russia was quick to throw his support for Athos, pouring funds into the newly revitalized institution and merging Molot into the ranks of the Orthodox exorcists. The result is a Serp that had fallen into severe decay, as corruption and organized crime take root. In the end, how dangerous they become would depend on their desire to revive their status as a feared power in the world...

Biography: A reclusive student from Siberia, Svetlana had always been a solitary figure. Biography:
Born in the nomadic warrior clan of the Anatolian Heartlands who served the Ottoman sultans for centuries and descendants of Mongol mercenaries and Arab ghazis, Nuray is a free-spirited, intelligent and kind-hearted young woman who’s willing to lend help to the needy, although at times sarcastic and stubborn. Much of her childhood is spent around her beloved family and friends from all walks of life; she’s also a keen learner with interests in books especially philosophy and mythologies, her favourite book is the Art of War by Sun Tzu, surprisingly for her age.

Biography: The ‘Mongolian Wildcat’ is her name in the school, befitting of her background. Aigiarn is the wandering-warrior and heiress to the Chinese financial conglomerate – the Jinmao Industries. Her home in Mikotoyama is the mansion best described as ‘the replica of Beijing’s Forbidden city’. Her father Jinmao Altan is well-respected individual in China and abroad, a former PLA colonel/government official and now a wealthy industrialist, basing his firm in Hong Kong.

Aigiarn spent much of her youth learning martial arts, travelling with her father and her little brothers, and reading books befitting her as a scholar in her own right. An interesting rumour says that her family are direct descendants of Genghis Khan. Though she neither denies it, nor confirms it. But she took it as a pride of her Mongolian ancestry, considering her father’s lineage are Mongolian warriors.

As a proficient fighter and martial artist prodigy, Aigiarn is a force to reckon with as a warrior, even without resorting to her magical powers. Especially her unorthodox swordsmanship and trusty alloyed-katana (to which she kept at home when going to school).

However, she was haunted by her dark, mysterious past. Persistent rumours surrounded her one of it that she was part of the Chinese Black Ops Division comprised of child soldiers with the fusion of magical and esper powers - product of the successful government project, attempting to create supersoldiers. Another, Ai was involved with Triads and Yakuzas, working as their mercenary. Lastly, she fends off assassins, evil mages and thugs to protect her family when she was an eight-year old. Regardless of the unproven rumours on Ai, one thing is true – her past is so painful as her scars suggested, she isn't willing to talk about, not even to her loved ones. Yet she’s defiantly proud to bear it for the rest of her life. In her words, the scars represented her hardships and her badge of honour in service for her beloved country and for greater good of all - evident of her altruistic heart.

She is a bit of a joker and a tomboy who puts emphasis on chivalry in life and respects those who do the same. Surprisingly to those who didn't know her, she is a very intelligent individual. For her age, Aigiarn is wise beyond her years. Earlier they had an impression that she’s boisterous young girl (despite her privilege upper-class background, she’s actually quite modest).

Biography: A troublemaker from the American West, Cat was a military brat raised, when he could, by her Marine father until he passed about a year ago after getting stationed in Japan. Somewhat uncertain what she wants to do in life, and with no grandparents she knows of in the states to return to, Cat elected to remain in Japan until she finished school, as a combination of her own slacking and hellraising as well as her father’s passing caused her to fall behind. Instead of returning to the school expressly for for American military brats, she opted to attend the Mikotōyama Academy.

Aggressively loud and disrespectful, Cat is quite obviously lacking in discipline and seems unlikely to accept it from anyone, and in truth had the same problem even with her father. With a long history of extreme practical jokes, graffiti, and other rebellious outbursts, it’s a wonder she was even allowed into Mikotayama to begin with. Alongside her gruff and rebellious nature however, Cat exudes a cheeriness and extreme friendliness to almost anyone she knows to any extent. But this does not save them from her teasing, which runs the gamut from harmless and flirty to insulting and rude, as she seems to lack restraint and doesn’t quite know when to stop making things into jokes.

Biography: Born Viorica Viteazu to a single Japanese mother, in Bucharest, Romania, Shizuka knew nothing of her Romanian father besides his alleged surname, Viteazu. A child born out of wedlock, Shizuka was brought back to Japan to face a world which rejected them. Often working part-time to help ease her mother's workload, Shizuka's grades were never very good. A target of bullies as a child, she grew up to be a quiet, softspoken girl with little confidence or conviction in herself. However, when a member of Mikotouyama Academy's board of directors mysteriously offered her a place in the school for free, her mother jumped at the chance to give her a better education. While Shizuka was initially skeptical of the board member's generosity, she grew to accept her place in the academy, and a chance to pursue her love for gymnastics.

But as time went on, she grew aware of the powers within the school's magically or ability-adept students, including herself. Suspicious of the school's random goodwill, she questioned whether the board knew of her potential as an esper before their offer came. However, with school and family commitments preoccupying her, she chose not to investigate for now. Regardless of the board's intentions, she would have to focus on herself and her mother first. Biography: Yew (Taxus baccata) is the spirit of an ancient Common yew tree rumored to be over two thousand years old. Yew is technically European, though common yew trees do grow in southwest Asia. Somehow this Yew found itself in Japan, and since settling in, has remained as a guardian and healer in the region. Yew has lived a long life however prefers to appear as a young human when showing itself to others. Being a tree and therefore lacking gender, Yew decided that it would randomly select a gender upon physically manifesting itself. Yew can be a somewhat tricky spirit to deal with since two thousand years gives you a lot of time to think up practical jokes and other mischief. Receiving the nickname as the ‘Hong Kong Wolf’ he grew up in Hong Kong and getting into fights with local street gangs. Not to mention, his punkish-like attitude. Unsurprisingly, he had a bad habit of getting into fights, inside and outside the school.

But deep down, he’s a kind-hearted and understanding boy with a strong sense of justice who hates to see anyone got hurt. In spite of his flaws, Wonggu is a very cooperative and noble individual once anyone gets to know him. Constantly worrying for his sister’s welfare, he often acts as her straight man, ensuring she doesn't get into too much trouble than it’s worth. His gruff personality stems from fierce protectiveness of his remaining family. Harm his loved ones you signed your death warrant.

His skills as a proficient fighter and martial artist are second to his big sister. As for his magical powers, he was born with the rare gift of pyromancy known as the ‘Black Flame’, notably for their black-coloured fires and not to mention…more destructive.

Secretly, he has a weakness for cute things and a sweet tooth at heart. Only his family and his close friends knew about it. Unfortunately, these only serve to teasing Wonggu more, much to his dismay.

The youngest of the trio is gifted in magical arts and said to be born with all-powerful supernatural powers more akin to powers of the gods themselves. However these powers are capable of wanton destruction, possibly more powerful than any mages ever lived. Aside from his magical powers, he possessed a super-genius mind. Thus he’s quite scholarly gifted making him a brilliant scientist, doctor and inventor by his own right. Adopted by Altan, she was treated as his beloved daughter along with his children. She is quite closed with the Jinmao siblings. What she didn’t know she’s actually a direct descendant of Guan Yu, one of Chinese old folk heroes. Coincidently her personality is reflected much like her male ancestor. She is also Temujin’s bodyguard and caretaker. Her adopted family entrusted her to look after him as his companion. Without hesitation, Aisha gladly accepts it in wanting to repay them for saving her life. From that time, she’s became Temujin’s first childhood friend, blossoming into sibling-like friendship. For strange reason, Aisha has felt more affectionate towards Temujin than any of her male friends. She tends to deny it, dismissing it’s just ‘weird feelings’, just only sisterly love.

Somewhat self-conscious of her appearance, she often finds herself as the butt of jokes to those who blatantly point out physical aspects of her, such as her age, which she is very sensitive of. Biography: Heinz is an intelligent man who came from a family of soldiers of which he was the only one who didn't want to be a soldier, and the youngest. Because of this Heinz was shunned and disregarded for all of his child hood. One by one his brothers and sisters went off to join the military until he was the only one left. When this happened his parents shipped him off to boarding school, which he graduated with top marks. Many times through his child hood however he almost committed suicide, but was stopped each time. After graduating high school Heinz decided he was going to show his family that he was capable of doing something amazing that didn't involve high caliber rifles or explosives. With the help of friend's, teachers, and high ranking military relatives who actually cared about him, Heinze managed to get a US visa and enough money to enroll in MIT where he was accepted and in four years graduated. He then enrolled again and received his bachelors degree four years later. When he was done with his bachelors Heinz returned to Germany. As an intelligent scientist he had no trouble finding work. However he found himself unable to work with other scientist as he felt he was just to smart for them. What he wanted to do was teach. So he looked for schools around the world that seemed interesting and worthy of his knowledge. Eventually he found Mikotōyama Academy, who quickly snatched up a scientists of his degree.

Regarded as the most annoying, stuck up, and narcissistic of all the teachers Heinz can also be extremely comedic at times. Though unintentionally. He is generally hated by every other teacher.

Biography: The adopted child of a Vietnam People's Army officer, Võ Linh Liên is among the last remnants of the Vietnamese esper program, Project Trưng and a covert Soviet cloning program, Project Alternative. An offshoot of the Soviet program, Project Kronstadt, Project Trưng was formed during the Vietnam War to create a crack esper force to counter the Americans, and later the Khmer Rouge. In return for Soviet aid, Vietnam permitted the establishment of secret Soviet laboratories for their attempts on creating powerful espers. The clones, taken from unknown sources, were then either sent back to the Soviet Union or handed over to the NVA/VPA for training under Project Trưng. However, disruptions for the Vietnam War and its conflicts with China and the Khmer Rouge stalled research to a standstill, and very few clones could be produced. By the time of the collapse of the Soviet Union, all the sites in Vietnam had shut down. What equipment that could not be brought back, including premature clones, were handed over to Hanoi. Among them was a physically six year old Võ, who had by then came too late to be involved in the conflicts of the 20th Century. As Vietnam acceded into ASEAN, her innate combat prowess had become all but irrelevant. After her service in the VPA, she began travelling overseas seeking challenges to match her prowess. Instead of returning to the school expressly for for American military brats, she opted to attend the Mikotōyama Academy.

Aggressively loud and disrespectful, Cat is quite obviously lacking in discipline and seems unlikely to accept it from anyone, and in truth had the same problem even with her father. With a long history of extreme practical jokes, graffiti, and other rebellious outbursts, it’s a wonder she was even allowed into Mikotayama to begin with. Alongside her gruff and rebellious nature however, Cat exudes a cheeriness and extreme friendliness to almost anyone she knows to any extent. But this does not save them from her teasing, which runs the gamut from harmless and flirty to insulting and rude, as she seems to lack restraint and doesn’t quite know when to stop making things into jokes.

But perhaps some of that personality may be an act put on for others, and her own, amusement?

Biography: The ‘Mongolian Wildcat’ is her name in the school, befitting of her background. Aigiarn is the wandering-warrior and heiress to the Chinese financial conglomerate – the Jinmao Industries. Her home in Mikotoyama is the mansion best described as ‘the replica of Beijing’s Forbidden city’. Her father Jinmao Altan is well-respected individual in China and abroad, a former PLA colonel/government official and now a wealthy industrialist, basing his firm in Hong Kong.

Aigiarn spent much of her youth learning martial arts, travelling with her father and her little brothers, and reading books befitting her as a scholar in her own right. An interesting rumour says that her family are direct descendants of Genghis Khan. Though she neither denies it, nor confirms it. But she took it as a pride of her Mongolian ancestry, considering her father’s lineage are Mongolian warriors.

As a proficient fighter and martial artist prodigy, Aigiarn is a force to reckon with as a warrior, even without resorting to her magical powers. Especially her unorthodox swordsmanship and trusty alloyed-katana (to which she kept at home when going to school).

However, she was haunted by her dark, mysterious past. Persistent rumours surrounded her one of it that she was part of the Chinese Black Ops Division comprised of child soldiers with the fusion of magical and esper powers - product of the successful government project, attempting to create supersoldiers. Another, Ai was involved with Triads and Yakuzas, working as their mercenary. Lastly, she fends off assassins, evil mages and thugs to protect her family when she was an eight-year old. Regardless of the unproven rumours on Ai, one thing is true – her past is so painful as her scars suggested, she isn't willing to talk about, not even to her loved ones. Yet she’s defiantly proud to bear it for the rest of her life. In her words, the scars represented her hardships and her badge of honour in service for her beloved country and for greater good of all - evident of her altruistic heart.

She is a bit of a joker and a tomboy who puts emphasis on chivalry in life and respects those who do the same. Surprisingly to those who didn't know her, she is a very intelligent individual. For her age, Aigiarn is wise beyond her years. Earlier they had an impression that she’s boisterous young girl (despite her privilege upper-class background, she’s actually quite modest).

Despite her tomboyish joker personality, she actually possesses her feminine side as a sensitive and thoughtful individual who yearns for a peaceful world and her love for her family. She has the hatred of pork meat, stemming from the death of her beloved pet pigs – Po and Bu, when she was a little child. Aigiarn is fluent in Mongolian, Russian, Arabic, Japanese and English.

Biography: Born in Xian, Shanxi province, Wonggu is the younger brother of Aigiarn, the grumpy and strict individual in contrasts to his sister’s jovial character. Receiving the nickname as the ‘Hong Kong Wolf’ he grew up in Hong Kong and getting into fights with local street gangs. Not to mention, his punkish-like attitude. Unsurprisingly, he had a bad habit of getting into fights, inside and outside the school.

But deep down, he’s a kind-hearted and understanding boy with a strong sense of justice who hates to see anyone got hurt. In spite of his flaws, Wonggu is a very cooperative and noble individual once anyone gets to know him. Constantly worrying for his sister’s welfare, he often acts as her straight man, ensuring she doesn't get into too much trouble than it’s worth. His gruff personality stems from fierce protectiveness of his remaining family. Harm his loved ones you signed your death warrant.

His skills as a proficient fighter and martial artist are second to his big sister. As for his magical powers, he was born with the rare gift of pyromancy known as the ‘Black Flame’, notably for their black-coloured fires and not to mention…more destructive.

Secretly, he has a weakness for cute things and a sweet tooth at heart. Only his family and his close friends knew about it. Unfortunately, these only serve to teasing Wonggu more, much to his dismay.

Not wanting to be a burden to his family, he strives to be the ‘independent’ man and wishes to join the Chinese military once he graduates. Unfortunately for him, his attitude tends to result in people making misconceptions about him as a ‘delinquent’.

Biography: The meek, the youngest and nerdish member of the Jinmao trio. He’s a very intelligent individual with a bright future, with his interests in science and religion. But his scholarly ideals made him feel awkward in the family of martial warriors. However, he is pretty close to his siblings and his best friend Aisha. In contrast Temujin is the most doting child by his family and older peers for being the youngest (and his moe cuteness~), much to his chagrin.

The youngest of the trio is gifted in magical arts and said to be born with all-powerful supernatural powers more akin to powers of the gods themselves. However these powers are capable of wanton destruction, possibly more powerful than any mages ever lived. Resentful of his powers, he grew into demure and a timid young boy, brimming with idealism for a better future. From this, he has learnt to control his powers as well as his temper.

Aside from his magical powers, he possessed a super-genius mind. Thus he’s quite scholarly gifted making him a brilliant scientist, doctor and inventor by his own right. He spends more time studying than martial arts. Temujin is also fluent in several languages. This had surprised his family and friends.

However, rumours surrounding the boy that he was experimental subject by the Chinese government to create supersoldiers, to which his family viciously denied on his behalf.

Biography: Aigiarn’s right-hand woman, best friend and her close confident. She cares a lot for her friends even though feeling dismayed by her best friends’ antics. Nevertheless, she is loyal to the fault and adheres to the ideals of justice.

Adopted by Altan, she was treated as his beloved daughter along with his children. She is quite closed with the Jinmao siblings. What she didn’t know she’s actually a direct descendant of Guan Yu, one of Chinese old folk heroes. Coincidently her personality is reflected much like her male ancestor. She is also Temujin’s bodyguard and caretaker. Her adopted family entrusted her to look after him as his companion. Without hesitation, Aisha gladly accepts it in wanting to repay them for saving her life. From that time, she’s became Temujin’s first childhood friend, blossoming into sibling-like friendship. For strange reason, Aisha has felt more affectionate towards Temujin than any of her male friends. She tends to deny it, dismissing it’s just ‘weird feelings’, just only sisterly love.

Somewhat self-conscious of her appearance, she often finds herself as the butt of jokes to those who blatantly point out physical aspects of her, such as her age, which she is very sensitive of. To the point, she was sometimes mistaken to be a mother, much to her chagrin. She is secretly completely scared of ghosts.

But her growing feelings for Temujin had started questioning her relationship with him. There’s one way to find out, her friends had started teasing her about it.

Biography: Heinz is an intelligent man who came from a family of soldiers of which he was the only one who didn't want to be a soldier, and the youngest. Because of this Heinz was shunned and disregarded for all of his child hood. One by one his brothers and sisters went off to join the military until he was the only one left. When this happened his parents shipped him off to boarding school, which he graduated with top marks. Many times through his child hood however he almost committed suicide, but was stopped each time. After graduating high school Heinz decided he was going to show his family that he was capable of doing something amazing that didn't involve high caliber rifles or explosives. With the help of friend's, teachers, and high ranking military relatives who actually cared about him, Heinze managed to get a US visa and enough money to enroll in MIT where he was accepted and in four years graduated. He then enrolled again and received his bachelors degree four years later. When he was done with his bachelors Heinz returned to Germany. As an intelligent scientist he had no trouble finding work. However he found himself unable to work with other scientist as he felt he was just to smart for them. What he wanted to do was teach. So he looked for schools around the world that seemed interesting and worthy of his knowledge. Eventually he found Mikotōyama Academy, who quickly snatched up a scientists of his degree.

Regarded as the most annoying, stuck up, and narcissistic of all the teachers Heinz can also be extremely comedic at times. Though unintentionally. He is generally hated by every other teacher.
