Hey all, and welcome to Into the Renaissance, an RP set in the turbulent times of the mid 1400s, 1450 to be exact. Play as the emergent Ottoman Empire an carry the Jihad into heathen Europe? Pick a side in the titanic struggle between England and France? Or unite Russia to become the Third Rome. It is up to your to decide.

Recruitment will be set at 1000 soldiers a day, its up to you to decide what they are, eg. 400 archers, and 600 swordsmen ect.
You may also build 3 ships a day, be they galleys or trading ships.

I would be more interested in this if it took place before 1434, which is when the Taborites were defeated at the Battle of Lipany. I admire the Taborites, and I would also love to get to use their "vozová hradba" or "wagenburg" tactics in an RP.

I would also be more interested in this if it took place after 1521, so I could RP as a Lutheran (maybe one of the peasant armies during the German Peasants' War of 1524-25).

Perhaps I could take just the Aegean and Marmara coasts, just as a precaution against further attack, then you can have the rest.
But we would need to take out the Ottomans first, something that I wont be able to do. Even with Mamaluk help, Constantinople may fall before they arrive

Once you have got all European Ottomans, then you can take out the small states, and I'll help you beat up Venice, and we can split their islands, and from then on, you'll have a power base to retake Italy, and reestablish Rome properly.

Once you have got all European Ottomans, then you can take out the small states, and I'll help you beat up Venice, and we can split their islands, and from then on, you'll have a power base to retake Italy, and reestablish Rome properly.

Just one thing, the reformation has not happened yet, so protestantism does not exist.
Just change that, and it's accepted
