Yoshi stepped out from behind Katya and glared at Akito. "You do not call her any degrading name" he was obviously still nervous and was wrigling his fingers because of it.

Akito laughed. "We know how this will end. It will be just like when we were kids. I'll push you down and when you try to get back up, well, you know. Do you still have that scar?"

Yoshi seemed taken back. 'Sh-shut up Akito."

"Why? You won't do anything about it, and neither will your whore friend over there."

Yoshi said nothing, he took a few step forward and bowed before taking his stance


Akito laughed and took his. The exact same stance. Time stood still between the too as they stared each other down. A fight was almost inevitable.

"Swith, this century would be nice," Klaus stated.


Meanwhile, Ceril was pleased to see his children back at home. He put aside his work and joined them in the living room. He figured he was in for some good tales about Gliese.

Hearing the bubbly voice that could only belong to one person in the whole world, Bran chuckled and got up. He shouted to the door jokingly. "You didn't need to get me anything!" He called out and opened the door with a groan. "Come on in, I'll take the box. Rylli's out in the living room."

Sure enough, but out of sight, Rylli awaited to surprise Naomi. She was sitting on the couch, smiling as she cradled Tolya in her arms.

Tieria knew he needed to go and find Kei. He had made a very deep decision that would change things between them but he knew it was right. Even if it hurt them, it was right.

"Bran!" Naomi hugged him tightly. "It's tea. I thought you'd like it because it's orange flavored and everything about your nation is orange." Naomi logic... senseless as always.

"Is Rylli home?"

"Oph!" Bran huffed as Naomi flung herself at him. "Woah there, cowgirl!" He chuckled and pried himself from her gently, setting the box of tea down on the floor and shooting her a thankful glance. "I'll be sure to try it, and yeah, she's home. In the living room I think." The father grinned.

Not getting to see one of his friends that often, Thriller decided to follow Naomi. "Hey Bran." Thriller said as he came in carrying the twins.

"No, he can't." Klaus latched onto her wrist once Thriller had walked away. He dispensed with his usual theatrics. He and Swith vanished with a loud CRACK.


The throne room (as Klaus thought of it) was in the heart of the abandoned sub base and just outside the current dimension. It was damp and cheerless and smelled like 'home'. Klaus deposited Swith on her feet and bowed himself to a back corner.

Atosh had shrugged off a human form in favor of something with a little more protection. He hadn't forgotten Swith's damned shards. "Hello Mati," he sneered upon her arrival.

"Okay," Naomi smiled. "Rylli, you there?" She bopped around the corner and then her eyes widened. "OH... OH oh oh OH! Ohhhhhhhhhhhh you had him already?!" She lowered her voice and waved her hands in front of her eyes to stop herself from crying. She went over and sat next to Rylli and peered at the bundle in her arms. "Ohhhhhh," she whispered.

Tieria was searching for Kei, he knew what he had to do, but it still hurt him somewhat. He loved her, but not like he thought he did. He adjusted his glasses and adjusted his hair so that it was perfect before he went out, he knew her favorite haunt, and his as well, Chaos. He crossed the empty street over to the bar/restaurant.

"Hey, Thriller, Sid, and Syd." Bran nodded and let them in too. He rushed forward though, just in time to see Naomi rush over to Rylli and Tolya.

"A few days ago, Ogoti delivered him. He's such a gentleman. But yeah, this is little Tolya." Rylli grinned and gently handed the baby over to Naomi, wrapped in an orange blanket that Bran had lying around.

"You know the drill, be very gentle. Tolya just finished dinner." She encouraged.

Siduer didn't see what all the fuss was about. He looked at his father and shrugged. Sydney leaned forward in his arms, eager to see what Naomi was holding. She smiled when she saw Tolya's face. "Daddy! Can we get one of those? I won't ask for a llama ever again, if we get one!"

Swith rolled her eyes. "Oh for fuck's sake, Atosh. Are we back on the 'Mati' thing again. It's Charumati or Swith. I'm in no mood to do battle with you. I just want to relax with my family."

"Thank you, Thriller." Both Bran and Rylli said at the same time, confusing the two as their voices combined. "Jinx, well then. Don't wish too soon, they all grow up to be teenagers one day. We have to cherish the time before that." Bran joked as Tolya started crying suddenly. The introduction of several new people, and the loud commotion probably set him off.

Kei was sat upon a stool in Chaos. She didn't notice Tieria walk in.

Thriller laughed at what Sydney said before replying. "Sydney, darling, you were that at once."

Kei was sat upon a stool in Chaos. She didn't notice Tieria walk in.

Naomi didn't panic or get upset. "Shhhh, little Bran fellow," she soothed and hummed a few strains of Bran's song to the babe. She smiled down at him and continued to gently rock him in her arms.

Sydney tilted her head and looked at Thriller. "Oh. So... can we get one? I want a sister."

"Nooooo," Siduer groaned. "No more girls. We're getting a brother. That's final."

Sydney shook her head. "Daddy, we're not getting a brother. We need a sister. Okay? Remember that part." Obviously, babies came from baby stores in Sydney's little world.

He gestured to Klaus to leave and then, once his minion was gone, he lifted a pearl from his pocket. "Remember this, Ma- Charumati?" he said as the room faded to black.


Klaus lit out once he'd cleared the base. He had to find Minerva.

Upon hearing the familiar song (Bran had sung it to him a few times before, and his father was definitely the most important person behind his mother), Tolya calmed down and ceased his crying, instead giggling at Naomi.

Tieria walked in and sat next to her. "Kei, I have come to a decision" he said rather straightforwardly.

"You have to have them?" Sydney frowned. "I thought they came from a store." She looked at her father with new-found respect. "How do you have them? How long's it take to make one?"

"Well, the first night, he kept us up all the time, barely got sleep. It's been getting better though, Bran and I have been taking turns sleeping in the crib with him, while the other takes the floor in his room." Rylli confessed, looking more fatigued than usual. "Part of parenting, I guess. It's worth it though, completely."

"And?" Kei asked, surprised by Tieria's appearance at Chaos. She waited for him to speak.
