Zelda sat bored in the class. AP Xeno-Biology. Too easy, too boring. Zelda opened a pouch on her bag. Feathers let out a small chirp. "Shh!" she said to the little bird, who was the closest thing she had to a best friend, "We aren't outside yet..."

"Sorry, I didn't mean to," said Feathers in his natural bird tongue. Feathers was a beautiful, but small Blue-Jay. Zelda had found him when he was only a baby, he had fallen from his nest, so she nurtured him back to health. He has been her close partner ever since.
"Its okay, i forgive you. I'm just a little bored," she giggled a little. the other students began to stare at her. she blushed a little then ignored them. "So Z, whatcha doing? did you know there's a lot of string in the pouch? they don't taste like dem worms. Also i could of sworn i heard Clancy, but i couldn't hear a thing in here. Hey Z whatcha doing?" Feathers spoke energetically and fast. It always made her giggle and smile. "Shhh! your going to get me caught!" she tickled his underside and fell silent, in a cute bliss. Feathers was her closest friend. She didn't know what she would ever do without him.

The teacher turned around, "Zelda, are you talking to that darn bird again?! how many times have i told you no pets allowed?" Zelda stood up, "He's not a pet!" she calmed herself then walked to the window and opened it. She whispered softly so no one would hear, "Sorry Feathers, meet me after school."

"Sure thing Z! I will, I will, I will!" and off he flew.

Zelda turned around and sat down, ignoring a few of the students who were snickering. One started to get up from his desk, but Zelda punched him in the shoulder and he sat back down. Who was the dunderhead who invented school? she thought to herself.

Stev chuckled seeing Zelda punch the other kid and lent over to her and whispered "Good job sis" he lent back over to Gary who could be seen to be planning some sort of mischief "Hey teacher can I go use the bathroom?" he said putting his hand up but the teacher glared at him and shook his head in a bid to say no. Gary and Stevs little plan just went down the toilet. Literally.

Revan walked across the empty sidewalk which was bordered on either side by forest, thank the gods for whoever invented school, he thought happily. No pesky children melding with his work. He saw an elderly human couple walking along the path in the opposite direction, to them he probably looked as if he was on his way to a renaissance fair with his tanned leather and iron mage's robes. That wouldn't do, he thought, he looked straight at them and turned his eyes completely red. The man nearly fell over with shock, ah, how he loved messing with mortals! But he had more important things to attend to, such as, well, actually he didn't! After being freed he could do whatever he wanted. No human police or military could kill him, but he disliked the killing, he would kill though he felt he needed to. He had just taken a seat on a bench, which he changed into a throne of vines, when he saw a bird fly across the path. A blue-jay specifically. But it was not a normal bird, he sensed, he stopped the bird from flying with a wave of his hand, hand then he waved it over, while simultaneously setting it free from the grip. He then spoke in his most godly voice "What do we have here?"

Feathers chirped in a rage. even pecking at the strange thing's hand.

[Fowlick]

Egon simply looked at Zelda and smile. He looked back at his book as the teacher went on with the lesson. His eyes were locked on his reading material.

Gabriel got a pop-up from the xenobiology teacher about the bird and frowned. This was the third time today he heard something about Zelda. He simply removed it and continued with his work.

Fred stood in his underground lab, surrounded by little cloud creatures. He sucked them up with a vacuum of sorts, and he put them in a container. He examined it with increased curiosity. "Now how to make you real."

[Joshulia]

He cast a spell of understanding, over the angry blue-jay, and said "Oh come now,little one! Calm yourself!" He smiled and said "Now tell me who is this...." He paused, still searching the birds recent memories ".... human friend of yours is."

[Contamenesia]

Feathers struggled a little less. "Lemme go, Lemme go, Lemme go! I ain got no human friend." Feathers gave one last peck in defiance.

Revan smiled "Best not lie to me, small one" he said still smiling, even larger though "you know I have an ogre I owe a favor to, and I'm sure a nice plump blue-jay would be just as goo."

"Whoa, whoa, hey! Me? lie? never man, don't get all Suzy Perkins on me, man. I told you i don't have no human friend. man, are you deaf, or just plain full of ear wax? i gotta say nice hair, did your momma give you that cut? Nice man." Feathers said in a near blur of speech.

[Joshulia]

Revan was now annoyed, so he said in a loud voice "Last chance, bird, tell me!" He looked over and saw one of the elderly local residence of the neighborhood looking at him strangely. He then yelled "Sorry, Mrs. Kankershmit."

[Contamenesia]

"Hey, Hey, Hey man! I said she wasn't human, 'kay, man? I'll tell whatever you want to know man, just calm down, man. Clancy don't like it when her man comes home all ruffled up now, and Z will definitely kill me if i turn up dead man, so just calm down, 'aight?"

Kurt sat in the back of the class, drawing in his notebook when he should have been taking notes. He hated being in school, not because it was boring or thought it was a prison, but because he didn't have any friends. He looked up from his drawing for a quick second, but went back to it shortly after that.

Amy walked into class and placed a note on the table from the dentists' she then sat down next to Zelda and sighed "Morning cuz" she said as she yawned and streached. She took out her stuff from her bag and put them on her desk before sitting up trying not to go to sleep.

Stev chuckled from the corner of the room trying to plan yet another prank.

Egon whispered over to Zelda. "Nice bird. A bit talkative for my tastes, but he seems nice." He said while not looking up from his book at all.

Being in the void so long he was rusty at reading minds, if only that group of warriors had succeeded.... never mind he just hoped he hadn't wasted his time on something like an elf or nymph. "Okay, who is this Z?"

Zelda gave her cousin a casually shrug and smile, then turned to the strange kid and stared. "Shut up, you..." she said in mildly threatening tone. She had never met anyone who could understand animals like she did, but she wasn't about to admit anything, especially in front of all of the other kids.


Feathers took a moment to reform his posture. "Oh man, Z? She's my honey, my divine angel, my glorious savior in a heavenly bod'.....don't tell Clancy i said that. Z is a Demonic Succuwolf, but, uh, you didn't hear from me, 'kay man? She's special. She ain't like those other folks, boring drab, and babbling on those beeping things that they put their ears, no Z can understand us, 'kay. She's divine angel in the skin of a fiery, sexy demon.....Where was i? oh and bro, please don't tell Z i said those things? She might get the broom again..."

"If you want to talk to me later, then sure. It is understandable." Egon said with a smirk as he turned the page.

He then said "Where could I find this, ah, Z?" He was no fool, demon and werewolf combos were rare, he had to , to quote fast food salesmen, get them while they lasted if he wanted a powerful army.

Amy slowly dozed off to sleep having been awake all night from doing homework which she forgot' she was quickly woken up by a bang on the table causing her to quickly sit up "Miss Lordshand do you find my lesson boring? If so I suggest to go out of the class" Amy narrowed her eyes on the teacher "but I..." the teacher interupted her "No buts! Go to the principles office now!" Amy sulked and slowly stood up ignoring the sniggers from behind her' she knocked on the door to her fathers office and waited.

"Bird, I could have fed you to a number of deadly plants by now, one of which eats everything but the vital organs so you are alive the whole time,"Revan said in amusement of the bird "now tell me!"

Feathers gulped a bit, "Now hey man, i don't know what it's called, its that big box place where Z and all those other kids go to get brain dead or somethin' ya know?"

"Seeing as how you were earlier able to use the adjectives ,sexy, and whatnot, I know you are smarter than that," He gave the bird a bit of a squeeze "I am in a hurry and my time is valuable, now" he spoke as if the Dream King himself was "tell me, or I will kill you in the most horrible way I can think of."

"Seeing as how you were earlier able to use the adjectives ,sexy, and whatnot, I know you are smarter than that," He gave the bird a bit of a squeeze "I am in a hurry and my time is valuable, now" he spoke as if the Dream King himself was "tell me, or I will kill you in the most horrible way I can think of."

"Hey man! oh that's tight, listen I ain't good at reading, but the sign has a big o' D on it, and its something "sing" but that's all I know, I swear man! Z'll kill me if I wound up dead man!. Oh, is that chocolate? do you smell chocolate? that's a nice smell....."

Well great, he thought, the one bird with ADD but if that's all he knew he could work with it. He put two fingers on the bird's head and wiped it's memory. He then set it down and tried to decipher where the location was. But he stopped turned around and instead of doing the work himself he put a magical mark on the bird, birdsong he could follow it.
