Theoden stared at Eomer. "Eomer take 200 men and scout the Western Borders, and then ride east and scout the fords of Isen." Theoden then turned around and began to talk with Gamling, Hama, Grimbold, and Erkenbrand.

"Yes my King, I shall gather 200 riders" Eomer turned and left the great hall. He sent messengers across the city for 200 riders to gather outside the gates of Edoras, and scout the western lands.

The Citadel of Sight, Armenelos, Arandor, Numenor

Tar-Minastar rose from his throne at the apex of the Citadel, his mind weary. Not for naught was he named "the Vigilant", but in this moment his attention had lapsed. In his young years he had come many times to the chamber, whence the High Kings of Westernesse cast their vision through time and over sundering leagues to survey the world. Then he had craved knowledge, and the power to cheat death that came with that understanding, ere Illuvatar had changed the King's heart.

As his reign drew on Tar-Minastar had concerned himself more with the affairs of the kingdom upon Numenor, the Isle of the Star's matters, and less had he ascended to this lofty chamber. It was a myopic view that he now regretted.

For many hours The Lord of the Edain had striven with the Palantiri of the East, the North, and the South. Everywhere he cast his gaze Tar-Minastar had seen wars and rumors of wars, the darkness spreading, the forces of light pressed to the wall and spread thin.

As he descended from the heights of the Citadel one of his advisors, the Lord Almetar, came from an alcove to walk respectfully behind his sovereign.

"We have much work to do." were the High King of Westernesse's only words to his vizier.

While Durin sat on his throne thinking of what to do, he started to think what he was doing at all...
A few dwarves where digging out the remains of the hideout and the city of Belegost, Some other dwarves where increasing the city of Nogrod, and another group of dwarves where increasing the defense of Nogrod.
Suddenly Durin knew what to do... He knew that when everything was finished he would have the strongest defense of the western lands, but he didn't had any form of warning... if enemies would come the dwarves would only see them from the gate, Durin knew he had to change that..
First of all Durin orderd his men to build tunnels that would lead out of the mountains towards the small cliffs that where right outside of the blue mountains.
At least they then had some outposts that could warn against an attack, the cliffbunkers would be made in a way that the dwarves in them could flee to the city, when orcs would try to get acces to them they would just blow up the tunnels leading towards the cliffbunkers.
But Durin wanted more, And so he wrote a message to Theoden.
Dwarves and men didn't had buisness with eachother normally but at least they weren't trying to rip each others heads out.
In the letter Durin asked Theoden to send 50 horseriders to the blue mountains so they could scount the surrounding area's, in return Durin stated that he would send dwarves to increase the defense of Edoras and to make Helm's deep a real fortress.
Durin also sended word to Thorne. Elves and dwarves didn't liked eachother but when needed they could handle each others companie.
Durin invited Thorne to Nogrod, to discuss how Durin could defeat the balrog of Khazad-dum. Elves where known for there wisdom and Durin knew that he needed it.
Also Khazad-dum was important for the elves as almost all of their mithril came from those mines, wich now where into the hands of goblins and orcs.

Al-Quarra wrote:Durin listened to the words of Yerru... "you're right" Durin said, "Isengard has taken the side of evil, but i've sended him a trade, we could use the creatures from the old stories... they could help us build, and we've got enough mithril for a good trade."

"As for your trip to Gundabad... I know winter is comming but i couldn't wait to give you this."
Durin then gave Yerru the mithril armor and axe, they where identical to the armor and axe Durin had.
"When you have conquerd Gundabad i want you to command such fortress."
"Also i wanted to give you this, it will makes your trip much shorter and safer... you also avoid most of the time the cold winds."
Durin gave Yerru a map of underground caves and tunnels on his route to Gundabad.

Durin also gave Yerru another 200 soldiers, they would return when Gundabad had been conquerd.
Then Durin would send workers to help Yerru in the building of the fortress.

Yerru Redmaul
9th Garrison 2170 men
Underground tunnels, near shire/Breeland

Yerru had thanked the king for the items he had given him and left the palace and went into the tunnels. The map would reduce the travel time to a week and this time Yerru had ordered ponies to transport his forces so 120 carts of dwarves were on the road and lanterns were hanging from the sides of the carts while a group on ponies stayed with in sight of the carts but their job was to make sure they were on the right path and to keep the path ahead of them see able. Yerru was in his cart with a table and his officers joined him. There he was reviewing the attack plans. "Ok, when we get there, deploy your men where they are needed. We will use the old tunnels to gain access and hit them from their back ranks. From there, we will storm the rest of the place and kill every orc inside the place from there. The leant forces will go back and request aid to rebuild the place and set up defenses after that the place is ours." Said Yerru as he nodded to each of his officers and looked towards the road ahead.

And again, you people who are attacking Mt Gundabad, you wont be able to take it, one, the player needs to respond to your attacks, and two they would outnumber you like ****, secondly, how are you going to take Moria, when there is the Goblin faction, who again would outnumber you, no matter how many soldiers you use, and the Balrog is there.
Just incase you didnt see it

OOC: You are forgetting the fellowship of the North. Took a good chuck of orc forces out. Plus we arnt attacking right now. Plus due to my knowledge if LOTR lore of that fellowship I know who to exploit a weakness on the mountain. Plus they wont see us coming if we are underground. So since this our own version, well I still know a way to event the odds.

OOC: True, but this is a weapon designed to bring down the mountain used as a last defence to the dwarves. It its a sound weapon. The downside is its a massive horn. Plus it takes time to work. Plus the orcs would hear it. Plus I am no where close to the mountain yet.

Its not a hammmer its a horn. I dont know its fucking name. Read about the fellowship that went to the northern to stop Agendour. When the fellowship got to Gundabad a group of dwarves were sent there to activate it. Of course using the weapon is suicide due to will collapse the chamber as well.

Agandour, from the War in the North Game? And I'm pretty sure it cannot blow up Mt. Gundabad Image

In Erebor, Dwarf Lord Ered Luin of the Erebar Clan said to his generals "Generals, I believe the time has come for us to make an alliance with our neighbors to the East. Together we can destroy the elves and extend the might of the Erebar Clan. The Easterlings have long been friends of the Clan, under my watch. Dispatch a messanger to their leaders at once." His top commander, Prince Erad Luin son of Ered Luin, said "It will be done, my lord. I will send my best men to do it at once." With that the Dwarvern commanders bowed to their lord and set out. Erad Luin sent three of his most swift messangers to the stone hall inside the mountains, where Ered Luin stayed. His throne room was adorned with gold, gems, and runes of all sorts. He gave the message to the messangers and said "Off to the Easterlings land! And be swift about it!"

The messangers made no delay, and made haste in moving southeast. They arrived at the nearest Easterling city in four days. They found an Easterling official and presented him a message, saying "From our great Lord, Ered Luin. Ruler of the Erebar Clan and son of Fered Luin." The message they gave read:
Great Easterlings,

I am the Lord Ered Luin. Friend of the Easterlings. I wish to present you with an offer. An offer of an alliance. Long have our two powers ruled over much grand land in the East. But I wish to expand Westward, and force the evil Elves from our lands. They have long conspired against Erebor and against the Easterlings. Together we can expel them from the East and expand our lands. Send your decision back with my messangers.

The two Dwarves said to the Dwarf Lord "Glorious Lord, this is a messanger from Sauron of Mordor." The two Dwarves bowed and backed back to the wall on either side. The Dwarf Lord had a dozen guards in his throne room. He said to the messanger, the Mouth of Sauron, "What message is it that your lord Sauron should send to a Dwarf Lord far north of Mordor?"

The Easterling Official took the letter and nodded, "I will send this to our great King at once." The official gave the letter to a rider and told him to go to the capital. After about 2 days the rider reached the great capital. The guards opened the gates and the let the rider in, the rider rode his horse up to the palace, he walked thought the palace after getting clearance to enter.

"My King I have a message from our Draven Neighbors up north, the rider showed the King the message. The King looked and ordered a scribe to respond, the response:

Great Erbear Clan

We gladly accept the offer of an alliance and we will allow the trade of different resources as well. In addition we will grant you military assistance and refuge IF needed.

Alentor was walking along a dirt road in between towns in southern Gondor, shining noon sun reflecting off his Iron armor. He had just finished another courier run between the villages, and was itching for action. A local tavernkeeper had informed him of a small wolf den nearby that needed to be dealt with. Twin blades holstered at his side, Alentor felt at home and futilely with the swords ready for battle.

Regulon flew overhead, at his beck and call to help him with battle, message sending, or just companionship. He had adopted the hawk as a hatchling and has been good friends with the bird for multiple years. The bird had even saved his life once, gouged the eyes out of an assassin that had blindsided him.

He saw a trail of wolf paw prints leading out into the wilderness, and readied himself to battle the savages.
