Backstory: Jack is from Yorkshire in England and was brought up in a small area in Sheffield' the steel city. At the age of 12 he discovered his ability to control fire and ice which he used for revenge tactics against people who upset him. His powers didn't become obvious until he used them to impale a robber through his leg with a large ice spike then burned his hands at the age of 14 and after a lot of persuasion including his parents having to pay him he finally agreed to go to Sylvan Academy.
