Are you honestly suggesting that Smythe might keep custody/possession of a weapon for some length of time and allow it to remain in the frankly gopping state it would be in after sustained fire? :p

Fixed it. We're you going to respond to me once I corrected it? Or do I need to change anything else?

RAF doesn't use American style First or 52nd for its squadrons, its more No. Three-One-Nine Squadron.

@Kassaran; Bit early for the Spitfire Mark IX, at least a year early.

The Spitefire Mark Vs were only just coming into service.

Yes, joining this RP means complete adherence to historical accuracy, or you shall be SHOT!

I'm waiting patiently until I can use a Lanchester with bayonet.

Why wait? We've got Lanchesters at this point, and we've had bayonets for hundreds of years...

Aren't we in 1940?

Damn, I seriously thought the Lanchester came into service before that.
Seriously, it took you Brits SO LONG to actually make an SMG.

Beginning of 1941, Sten Mk.I would've been just produced.

I thought the British used a version of the Thompson during the early part of the war.

Only after Lend-Lease began in earnest, I believe.

Riddle me this, Goebbels: how exactly is making Churchill look like Edward G. Robinson supposed to make me not like him?
That's like an Army recruiter trying to convince you not to join the Navy by showing you Top Gun...

So unfortunately, I think Monday nights are going to be an RPing dead zone for me for about the next two months, as Tuesday is when literally all my significant homework will be due from now until then.
My apologies.

Thanks very much, Balk, but unfortunately, it's a bit of a dire scene. It'll be better tomorrow, though.
Also I have a bit of interesting news - I'll hopefully be taking a trip upstate this weekend to go see the Flying Heritage collection. I'll see if I can get you guys some good shots of the Fulcrum or the Komet or any of the other stuff they've got floating around there.
