"My fellow Americans, today we continue steps towards the change we need for this country to get back on it's feet. I gladly accept a second term as President of the United States..."
-President Barack Obama, November 7, 2012
"We are disappointed to announce that after confirmed reports of ballot stuffing by members of the Obama administration, President Barack Obama will be removed from office. How a replacement president will be determined is yet to be decided..."
-Chief Justice John Roberts, January 8, 2013
The vote that shocked the nation has thrown the US into turmoil. The back and forth is endless. No solution has even come close to a majority. States are calling it quits and going off on their own. There is no hero to save the country this time.
This is yet another America break-up RP, but this one is a little different. There will be dice! I noticed some of the dice RPs around P2TM and thought it might be interesting to use dice on a larger scale. The dice will be used to simulate conflict. Each side gets a roll and the difference will be used to decide the outcome. Like so:
0: Deadlock. 20% casualties both sides
1: Slim advantage to winners. Winners: 20% casualties. Loser: 25%
2: Slight advantage. Winners: 20%. Losers: 30%
3: Victory. Winners: 25%. Losers: 40%
4: Big Victory. Winners: 25%. Losers: 60%
5+: Utter Annihilation. Winners: 20%. Losers: 80%. Losing force < 3000: Winners: 10%. Losers: 100%
Various things will affect rolls, such as things like an ambush will probably give attackers +1. 50,000 attacking 100,000 will probably give defenders a +2 or 3.
Artillery/Air Strike Battle System
0: Barely hitting. Defenders: 3%
1: A wee bit better. Defenders: 5%
2: A teensy bit better than that. Defenders: 7%
3: Okay. Defenders: 10%
4: Doing pretty good. Defenders: 12%
5+: Locked on. Defenders: 20%
This is just the battle system. This does not mean you have to be fighting someone at every corner. You don't even have to fight if you don't want.
The dealio for this RP is that states make their own countries, blah blah blah, trade, blah blah blah, war, blah blah blah. Youg uys know how these work.
Rules: Standard rules: no godmodding, one liners, flaming in OOC, my word is law
