No, No. That's fine. I've a brilliant idea better than my original. Basically, the Russians say no to aid, offer neutral trade. The attack is called off, and everything goes to rebuilding for some time. That's a very short description. I like it much better than invading you, as 2months is not enough to conquer a country.

Russians - Please, immediately retcon that little plot twist. It's a major violation of Rule 3, and also violates Rule 5 because it typically takes years of building trust before a nation could develop strong enough relations with any nation to begin military aid.

Earthquake - A good portion of the Western Empire's army is going to be needed for internal relief efforts, and there will be an awful lot of disorganization that would leave the army stretched thin.

Invasion - That trick's never going to work. 200,000 military men, arriving in military ships, and all arriving at the same time... it's just way too suspicious. Not to mention the fact that largescale foreign disaster relief has always required a great deal of coordination between governments, and the Tahoman federal agencies probably would have figured it out right away. And it is correct that 2 months is a gross understimation for an invasion, especially of a nation as large as Tahoma.

Overall, I'm pretty surprised at this. NB, you've always struck me as too experienced of an RPer to ever end up doing any of those things. Hope I wasn't too harsh, you're definitely one of the better members of this RP and I would hate to lose you over one minor episode.

It would take sometime in your condition ICly, but, given a few posts, it could be done. I do have a question though -- the Russian letter said "... A few freighters can come, they will have a few humanist on board ..." What else besides Humanists would be on board?

Trade goods, textiles, food, water, alcohol. I expect Sab to take advantage (at least a little) of getting humanitarian aid. And medical supplies...those to. Definitely in this situation. I would have weapons coming...but i think if i'm going to do that i'd wait, or not do it at all really. There's plenty of weapons in America.
