I'm also confused as to why the "Southern California" created by Jeff Stone is used as Southern California here.. it's just a conglomeration of California's Republican counties as well as enough Democratic counties to have an ensured Republican majority, and deviates from the actual meaning of Southern California, which is the lower ten counties of California.

But then again, you might be doing this on purpose.

I was planning on building relations with other nations of the Pacific, but oh well. I'll just be building most of my ties with the West Coast.

You are entirely correct; I excluded the coastal counties because if California ever does split, it would likely be due to the conservative counties' desire to have a shot at winning electoral votes. Geographically, places like Los Angeles and the like would be lumped in, but politically it would be a move contrary to the goal of the California partition movement.

I'll look into it. Personally, I feel it should be left open since someone will probably want it, but then again no one's asked to have it yet. If no one applies for it soon, I probably will have that happen.

Hmm. To each their own, I guess. WATO doesn't discriminate based on quality of writing, if you'd like to join (personally I don't see what's wrong with your letter, though).

General Random Thought: I'm starting to realize that it may have been a mistake to start a new RP just before March Madness. I'll still try to check back every now and then.

EDIT:

I know there isn't a rule about it, (I meant to include one, though) but I feel like letting people go to war with NPCs/inactives wouldn't work well. It's basically an automatic victory which would upset the balance of power, and since not everyone borders an NPC nation, that isn't very fair.

If you want to invade or buy land from an active player and they accept, that's fine.
