The Nazi part may be important because the villain I will also portray is a former SS member

Well, I'm pretty much decided on the power I'll be using, which I've already discussed here, but aside from that, I'm not quite sure. Someone without too much confidence and strength of character, most likely, so that their character arc and development of their power will be more interesting, but that's about as much as I've thought of, honestly. I've been working on other stuff and I'll most likely have to do some research to craft a backstory and all of that, which is why I haven't done much. That, and the notion that the setting isn't yet set in stone, while perfectly understandable, makes me iffy about starting to work on it, though that's just because I'm lazy.

I can't decide, however, whether they should be blind from birth or from later in life. There are pros and cons to each: on the one hand, if they're blind from birth they won't know what colours are, which could lead to some interesting situations (especially if they gain sight in the Abyss), but could also lead to some challenges. On the other hand, if they became blind later in life, they would be able to relate better to what the other characters are seeing, but some of the interesting writing opportunities that are present with the other option are lost.
Hence, what are your guys' opinions? I welcome any and all feedback (but there's no rush, because I won't have the time to sit down and write a good app for quite some time).

I'd say that having the character be blind from birth would be far more interesting. I understand that it would be quite challenging to write, for obvious reasons, but if you can pull it off, it would be interesting, not to mention it would also likely be a good writing exercise. . Hell, he/she could even see things that the others don't, on account of seeing things differently. He/she can relate to the others through their other senses anyway.
That's my opinion on the matter, anyway.

I was a bit worried that you'd suddenly CTE'd, to be honest.
If everyone's still up for this I am as well, though I admit I haven't yet worked much on a character.
Anyway, aside from that, what else do we still need to set up for an OOC/interest thread?
