And you specifically described her aura as malevolent and wicked.

Well, no, but I mean, she did brag about said fights. Rabbit is only fighting her to get her to prove herself. She came with the intention of hurting a student, who Ruta and Rabbit were going to protect. Stop trying to play Sage like she's completely innocent.

Never planned on it.

I'm simply saying that they have nothing to prove their suspicions, so the treatment is unjust.

They could sense her aura, and she gave an aura that was threatening. Thus, they technically do have something to go by.

Any demon's aura would naturally be like that, though.

She is more of a demon than the others. That is why her's is just more notable.

And it was malevolent and violent nonetheless. She did not come to the Academy to mess around, she has implied hurting the students there while not under watch, and has continually gloated about how terrible the human race is and how worthless they are, and thus would naturally have no qualms about killing them as she says. Neither Ruta nor the Rabbit are capable of giving her any trust.

And if they are worthless, what is the meaning in killing them?

Ruta should know that she only said that in a fruitless attempt to manipulate him into getting what she wanted. He has been around demons before, hasn't he?

That was not the statement. I never said she had motive.

And a threat is a threat, no matter what it was used for. Ruta wouldn't care, he doesn't trust Sage in the slightest to not do something like that.

I have a question.

What are the layouts of the dorms? Like a blueprint if you will.

Damn it, Lumi. xD

I was thinking about editing that post so that it would include the affects of it hitting her, but I decided against it. You're too predictable.

How would they even see her through the stream of water? I'd assume that it would be large enough to encompass her entire body, or at least half. Then there is how it is a small object. For most, it would go unnoticed, even without a stream of water covering one's view.

There's a first floor, which contains an open room akin to a study hall when one first walks in. From there, a student can walk to the first floor dorm rooms, or up to the second floor, which contains more sleeping areas and an archive.

I don't know exactly why, but I want Henry to interact with Ambrosia. Anyway, let's start the process of breaking the writer's block with a sledgehammer.

Now I just think that they're a dick.

That's ridiculous. You brought this upon yourself. Rabbit never did this to Inari because Lance and Inari were in an agreement in which they looked out for each other.

If you don't want a character to be threatened, don't have them come into a school, describing them flat-out as a threat, saying that they're after a student, and expect them to be in the clear. If she has a strong aura that is described as malevolent and threatening, then she will be treated as such. Inari never had an aura that she was going to cause harm and did not try to act under any pretenses, so Rabbit spared her.

Anyway, Rabbit isn't attacking Sage now. They saw she dropped her weapon and they won't attack an unarmed opponent.

Yes, but he just said that he won't accept a surrender.

Dick. Move.

She doesn't want to fight. Why can't he accept that?

Perhaps because she's already proved herself willing to lie. If he can't trust her to be completely honest about her intentions, how can he accept a surrender? For all he knows, it's a trick to get him to think she's not a threat. It's not a bad character trait. It's not being stupid and believing everything a dishonest person tells you.

She has stated that she keeps her word, expects others to keep their word, and complains when others lie.

And yet lies herself? That's not honesty, that's hypocrisy. Which is, by nature, dishonest.

Easy enough to say. Difficult to do.

Especially when one party involved is a raging cynic who just got finished watching The Rebellion Story while dealing with the lower half of a depressive cycle, and even more especially when that party is me.

She lies when it's necessary. She's still against it, though.

You can't be against lying and lie when it's necessary! You can be against unnecessary lies, but not lies in general, unless you want a guilt complex of course. You're not making any sense.

Forgive me for your lack of understand of human nature, which I have incorporated when creating Sage.

Most of us are against lying, but we will still do it on occasion. So, please, learn more about people before you run around shouting at me for hypocrisy.
