I have no idea why you all chose to back this nation with such a fervor, but it was one of the kindest things I've had happen to me as a NS player without people wanting like..my soul back.

I'm so tempted to write a parody poem now called "How NewTexas stole April Fools' Day"

It would, of course, end with Max Barry harmonizing with us around a Wall Street Tree.

Let's not pick on New Texas. If one insists on seeing the situation as a united NS Community, against all those who did not participate as 'outside traitors', then keep in mind there's way more nations in the Top 25 than New Texas. And there's way way way more nations beneath that. Do we have any idea how many nations (not shares!) participated in the Community Effort, and how many did not? And how would we judge those nations which 'held back' just a few shares? Do we HAVE to judge?

Of all those non-participating nations, New Texas was merely the highest-ranked in shares, and that was due to one nation giving him a big pile of shares at once. A very, very big pile.
